Most dealerships check the fluids and filters when they do an oil change as part of a "basic" inspection. It's hard to recommend a dealership that was dishonest about a car they sold. I also take blame in this for being so trustworthy and not having the car checked out by an independent person or place. I have learned a valuable lesson in the end. I have not even had the vehicle 6 months and it needs over $2000 worth of work done. I live on $1000 a month and by the time I get the money to pay for it to be done it will probably cost me more money to fix whatever goes wrong in that time frame. I will not purchase another vehicle new or used from Brown ever again. If you decide to purchase a used vehicle from Brown Automotive please take it and have a mechanic look it over before you buy it. I have included photos of the cabin air filter that was pulled out of my vehicle in front of me. It wasn't just bad as you can see in the photo it had a piece of paper covering over half of it blocking the air flow. It has been a terrible experience for me and has caused me extreme anxiety. So sad that I traded a car that was in great condition with low mileage that probably made them a great deal of money. If I could I would give them 0 stars.

They willingly took time out of their day to take the car to the local Chevy dealer to have an inspection I paid for done. They also gave me a ride from the hotel to their dealership the morning after I came in. The transaction was seemed less, and they were wonderful to deal with. I still watch their site to see if they have something I am interested in due to their honesty and willingness to go the extra mile. I won't hesitate to buy from them again.

The reviews were complementary, plus the write-up by the shop explained who they are and how much experience their staff have in repairing vehicles, so this made us feel comfortable enough to set up an estimate for repairs needed. Upon arrival, an employee named Mindy greeted us warmly and made us feel very welcome. She got another employee for us named Isaac, who is an on-site adjuster, and he took over from there and on the spot put together a comprehensive estimate for us to submit to the other person's insurer that we were dealing with. We received approval from them in short order to have our vehicle fixed, so we set up the appointment and took it in to this business. Throughout the repair process, Isaac kept us updated, and once all work was fully finished, we were given our SUV back in pristine condition! The inside was detailed beautifully as well.
