I chose a vehicle for $5,000.00 less than my bank approval amount, but they were telling me my payment would be the same. I know how it works, all the "up to's" and added charges in the finance office - Gap insurance, extended warranties, life insurance, etc, etc, etc. I guess they were seeing I was approved for X amount and decided to bend me over the hood of the car in hopes I would take it. We walked, ended up purchasing a better equipped vehicle elsewhere.

So I bought a used car from Cross Pointe a little over a year ago. I spent 15,000 in cash for what…read moreI thought was a well-priced used car, with the only issues being a damaged console and a minor oil leak. However, when I went to pick it up, we discovered a rattle, which they told me they would pay to repair and sent me to a Kwik-I-Car. I was there all of ten minutes before the mechanic told me they couldn't do anything about it. The rattle was still there when i took the car to the dealership to get the oil leak fixed, and they told me they would get that fixed as well, no charge. So I sat for three-four days without a car, but thought it was fine. Then a check engine light came on. Que about a week of no car as they fixed all these issues. Then I went to pick it up, and Wallace the sales rep tried to refill the windshield cleaning fluid, only to discover the reservoir was badly damaged. So I have to get that fixed. I thought that was the end of it until today, when i tried to get my car inspected, only to discover that the horn had no wires connecting it to the steering wheel. I literally have been driving a car that is legally unable to pass inspection. I don't know if these guys just don't use good mechanics or are intentionally ignoring things, but being told "it's not like we haven't put any money into it" when i spent 15,000 of my own money doesn't feel great.

When I called to report the issue, they didn't care at all and offered no resolution. Negligence like this is unacceptable, and the lack of accountability makes it even worse.
