We have had them put the boats in for us at Falls Lake as well as picked the boat up and towed it ourself. I highly recommend letting them do it all. This was great. I book a 14 person boat about a month out. I also rented a tube. So, I was looking for something different to do. We are stuck at home during COVID. So I decided to take the crew out. They really enjoyed it. No worries if you think driving a boat is hard. It's not. You have to be careful and look out for your surroundings. But it's pretty easy. Remember a boat does not have brakes. Lol. Maybe few years from now, but no brakes. Let me tell you how easy it is. Once your date for the boat date comes up, you just park and unload at the dock area. Park as close to the water as possible. The team will be down there, and will have the boat in the water for you already. You will have time to load your stuff. No big rush. They will hop on the boat with you to give you instructions. And you just take off. It's that easy. You can rent for half a day or full day. The lake is big so you may want a full day out. Half of a day is plenty. Remember when your out on the water and have any issues, you can always call them. read more

We rented the pontoon boat with a 15 person max on a weekend in July. Was overall a great experience and I would recommend- had only rented on Jordan Lake before but Falls Lake is larger. We ended up having 12 people on our boat and that was plenty, especially given we planned poorly and had one (or three) too many coolers. I think having 15 people would have been too many. For booking the only option for boat was 8 hours. We wanted to start an hour later so were easily able to make that adjustment. Unfortunately we were running late and there is an associated late fee if you are more than 15 mins as their store is NOT next to the harbor. The weather was great for our rental day, however they unfortunately do not allow full cancellation for bad weather- instead allow for re-scheduling at a later day. Cost was pricier that other rental places I've used but reasonable when split up among people and we did get the insurance protection. When we went to return the boat we called them and they arrived within 5-10 minutes. Overall good customer service, boat in good shape and beautiful lake. read more

Suzanne is just about the most friendly, down to earth, helpful person I've ever encountered. She is the model by which all others in customer service should strive to follow. I'll be honest... I already adored North Carolina and the people that live there before I rented a boat from Suzanne. And could not fathom loving it anymore. But man...we just had THE BEST day on water at Falls Lake thanks to Suzanne. In fact, it was by far my favorite day of our entire spring break trip!! My family and I have rented dual wave runners from MB twice now. Both times have been great. This past weekend we had to pick up at an alternate location due to COVID-related closures of the state parks. There was a miscommunication on the MB side and they didn't have life jackets for my two kids. Due to heavy traffic we had to wait about 45 minutes for these to be delivered. MB made it right both by giving us an extra hour on the lake AND also comping our gas. Either of these would have made it right but they did BOTH and without us asking. Wonderful time renting "she's a big 'un" 30 ft pontoon boat on 4th of July. Beautiful boat, easy to steer and dock despite its size. We fit 14 people, coolers, snacks, and floaties with room to spare. Employees were so helpful and gave us a quick tutorial prior before we left the dock. Will be renting again soon! read more

Rented a pontoon boat today with 8 friends. To say that we had a blast would be an understatement. Suzanne was wonderful and dropped off the boat in the morning and picked it up in the late afternoon. She was friendly and helpful. We were pleased that the boat was was gorgeous and practically brand new. We spent the day cruising and swimming around Falls Lake. We will definitely rent from here again.
