Such a fun spot to try something different for date night. The staff was patient and trained us thoroughly to ensure we would be safe throughout our adventures. After locking in and out a few times, it became very easy. The park itself is split into different difficulty levels. If it's your first time, they will most likely make you go in order from easiest to hard and you won't be able to skip to get to the double black diamond courses. We got through all of the courses except for the last one within 2 hrs (of our total allotted 3 hr time slot). We skipped the last course because we got hungry - I highly recommend eating a proper meal before as it is in and of itself a full body workout. I would be interested in visiting again to conquer that last course!

What a fun place. We hosted my son's 12th birthday there. He had 3 kiddos join us and I participated too. Perfect party during a pandemic. I could buy tickets and bring in my own food without paying extra fees. We all had fun and the staff was very encouraging when one of the kids was scared. The only negatives was that I found the website and levels confusing. I couldn't figure out if I needed to be there with the kids doing the activities or not. I found the answers contradictory depending on who I spoke to. I ended up doing it, found I only needed to be on the ground when they were playing but had fun anyway. Leading up to the party, I kept getting emails saying that they didn't have any waivers despite my guests already filling them out. I had to keep emailing copies of the confirmation. All in all, I recommend this for a fun party and outing with friends!

Took my teenage son and created core memories that will be with us forever. He is incredibly fit - and I'm a typical mom in my 40's - yet to watch him support me through the black widow and complete it with him was a huge highlight. I highly recommend starting at the highest or 2nd highest you think you want to go and work your way down because as you get more tired, the easier ones are more fun! Highly recommend as a kid-parent date day!

    Yikes. Crawling is no joke.

This is a must do if you like adventure. The staff is helpful. The area is very clean. The bathrooms are safe and clean. It was a fun experience. A lot of core, balance and arm strength workout but didn't feel like a workout. I sweated due to the adrenaline of possibly loosing grip and falling to my death. Just kidding, even if I were to fall the anchors were secure and held me well. This was a mother, son date as I was in town for a visit.

Kids under a certain age (I think 15) must have an adult next to them at all times. Yes, it is expensive for adults, $58, but worth it. You start with a rather long safety presentation, but it is necessary. You are not closely supervised while on the course, which is awesome but a little scary at first. However, there are workers nearby if you ever needed to yell out a question or something. The course seems to be broken into different parts, all of which begin with a climb up a ladder and end with a zip line. Most of the time, you are walking across different kinds of rope bridges of varying difficulty. There are some areas that were super challenging for me, as someone with practically no upper body strength. But you know you are safe the entire time so it's ok if you mess up. I loved the challenge. Anyone physically healthy will probably be fine, although sore the next day. :) I wish I could do this course as a workout every day!! The course was the perfect length. I was starting to get worn out by the time it ended. Some tips -The back of your shirt and pants will get quite dirty because you'll drag on the ground when you land after the zip line. Stretchy yoga/exercise capris are good choice. Be prepared to be dirty and bring a change of clothes if you need to look presentable afterwards. -You don't wear a helmet, so you could wear a hat if you felt like it. -Definitely wear sneakers or rugged shoes, like hiking shoes. -Don't bring ANYthing on the course you don't need. Leave your phone in the car (unless you want it for taking photos, but have a way to secure it to your body.) -Don't bring water on the course because there are water cups available in a few areas. -You may find some mysterious bruises and scrapes the next day and be sore.

Frankie's Review - 3/5…read more While in town, we decided to visit Frankie's after it was recommended to me by my boss, and this time I had my husband and 12-year-old son with me. Overall, it was a nice way to spend time together as a family and gave us something fun to do during our visit. Frankie's offers a good variety of attractions, and my son especially enjoyed the rides, including the claw, roller coaster, and zero gravity experience. We also played putt-putt golf, which was enjoyable, though I personally found the course a bit less challenging than similar places I've visited before. The road course was also on the shorter side, but still fun for what it offered. One thing I would note is that the pricing felt a bit high, particularly for the arcade games and rides, especially considering some of the experiences are fairly brief. We also found the pizza to be a little overpriced, so we chose other food options as well as their burger and Philly cheesesteak. Unfortunately, one part of the experience that stood out in a less positive way was the customer service around some of the attractions. Several of the attendants seemed very nonchalant and disengaged, almost as if they were not very happy to be there. That kind of energy can affect the overall atmosphere and, for me, made it less likely that I would return or recommend it. We also had to wait for attendants to assist with some of the more interactive 3D-style games, which interrupted the flow of the experience. That being said, one of my personal favorites ended up being the carnival 3D shooting game, even though we did have to wait for an attendant before we could play. Once we got on, it was definitely one of the more enjoyable parts of the visit for me. On the positive side, it was not crowded during our visit, which made the experience much more relaxed and enjoyable. I especially enjoyed spending time in the arcade with my family, and that ended up being one of the highlights of our visit. I also want to mention our experience in the bar area with Olivia Jackson, who provided such warm and pleasant service. She was courteous, attentive, and truly showed genuine Southern hospitality. Her kindness and professionalism made us want to stay longer, and we ended up enjoying our food and family time even more because of her. She was definitely one of the bright spots of our visit. Overall, while I have visited similar entertainment venues that I personally enjoyed more, Frankie's still provided a decent family outing and a different experience while we were in town. I would rate it 3 out of 5 stars.

I am going out of my chaotically busy day to leave this review, because I mean every word and I am not a "cheerleading" parent. I generally don't care for places like this because I have to sit in a hard chair and wait until he's finished playing. I want to play WITH him! This place, UA, has so much going on! My child and this mama (me) had an amazingly fantastic time! It was fun wading through the clear bubble pit. It seriously is a good workout, plus, walking the plank is a bonus. The trampolines are just as fun as all the other trampolines BUT it wasn't nearly as crowded; no accidents means even more fun (for me)! Then, I saw the go carts and realized that MAMAS COULD DRIVE- not just kids and people running the exhibit!!!! Since my little monkey isn't big enough to reach the pedals, I got to be the driver. It was so much fun that we went probably 5 times before UA closed. My kid thought it was the greatest thing ever when another mama entered the track and we locked eyes as way of greeting, we both knew what needed to be done: a race so epic that the camera couldn't keep up to take a picture. The photo of us smiling is after the go carts. Genuinely smiles = really excellent memories. It is NOT cheap. It is substantially more than places like Safari Nation, literally any of the museums (the one in Raleigh is probably the closest in price) and of the other places for kids that I am blanking on. To be a parent/member and get to also use the go-karts, each kid is roughly $110 for 6 months of prepaid unlimited play. It's $60 for an annual membership for parents and allows them to use any of the exhibits that they wish, including go karts! So for $170-180 you are able to go as many times as you want for 6 months. If you pay full price for 6 months and add it all up, you come up with There isn't much of a discount for paying in full for 12 months.
