He pretty much bent over backwards to ensure that I could have my car fixed, despite my less than stellar financial situation at the time. He helped me out a lot and ensured that my car was in tip top shape, which pleasantly surprised me, as I had grown accustomed to sub par customer service and mechanical work dealing with other shops. Also, the location is great! You can walk to 7-Eleven, Giant and KFC as you are waiting to get your car done. Nothing is worse than being stranded in the middle of nowhere without a car... although often times I just stayed at the shop to shoot the shit with Graham. My Hyundai lasted up until it was hit and totaled a month ago (I moved to Pittsburgh shortly after my car was fixed, and Pittsburgh drivers are notoriously awful). But because of Graham at AAMCO, I was able to keep my car long enough to move and establish myself in a new city and at a new college, which was a godsend. If I had to get a new car before I moved, I would've had to postpone my move and delay going back to school. He told me that he could tell I took care of it, and that for its age, it was in great shape. Mr. John even went the extra mile (see what I did there, haha) and showed me some things that were worn and would eventually need repair. This was great info, not only so I know what to expect for a future visit to my local auto repair shop but also because I decided to have some of the work performed that same day. I felt it was wise to get it out of the way and not have to worry about anything breaking while on the road. Mr. John even told me to call once I arrived at my destination, which further proved that he genuinely cares about his customers and takes great pride in his work. I told them thanks but no thanks. So, I got on the Endurance web page where they referred me to All Things Transmission. At first I was sceptival when they told me the transmission just needed adjustment and a "top off" of transmission fluid. They also replaced my battery with an Interstate Battery and the whole bill was under $600. The car works great, like new. I couldn't be happier.
