The place was packed the entire time we were there; its reputation certainly precedes it. Good energy and beautifully decorated with stunning art inside. Carbonades a la Biere (beef stew; 19.45 Euros) is their speciality and was delicious! So reasonably priced for the flavor and te size of the dish! After Julian mentioned that the lamb is the best dish on the menu, there was no question that I was ordering it. Jarret d'Agneau Roti (Roasted Lamb Shank; 27.35 Euros) was so very good! Full of Rosemary and so tender! As Julian was running by, I quickly asked him: "Tiramisu or Tarte Tatin?" No hesitation, he replied, "Tarte Tatin." The restaurant is small and had only about 10-12 tables. I really didn't know what to expect so with the hostess' recommendation ordered one of their specialty pork dishes that came out on a huge platter of salad and fries. They also give you a generous helping of bread with cheese and tomatoes. The whole thing was only 12 euros. The food was very good and enjoyed every bite of it! Certainly keeping this as a recommended place for anyone who wants to visit.

At least it was served hot. This would then, have probably just about been a 3 star review, but the staff were slow, rude and disinterested. Too busy chatting to each other to deal with the growing line of customers and off-hand when the finally got around to us. I don't mind waiting when a place is busy if the staff are actually trying to deal with it, but when they can't be bothered it's pretty frustrating. Still, less chaotic than the main airport and, as I said, a good spot for watching the planes take off while you wait your turn.

They've got so many offerings, quaint decor on every floor, various places to sit, including a rooftop. It's definitely a touristy thing to do but with over 2,000 beers to choose from, who cares? I loved every minute of it. It's crazy busy at times especially when live music events are taking place. We shared a Yard Stick which were multiple beers (smaller taster sizes). They're known for having one of the biggest beer selections in the world, and you can literally spend hours just reading the menu. We ordered their famous beer flight that comes with 10 different types of beers. Each one was completely unique, different flavors, colors, and strengths. It was such a fun way to try a variety without committing to just one. Some were light and refreshing, others were strong and bold. I loved that every glass felt like a new experience. The service was great! The staff were friendly, welcoming, and made the whole experience even better. They also have a photobooth inside, which was such a fun surprise. Perfect spot to make memories with friends. If you're in Brussels and want the full Belgian beer experience, this spot is a must-visit. So worth it!
