Very favorite winery in Altus! I LOVE the true wine cellar and that it's truly a family venture. We usually always stop on a Sunday afternoon and the entire family can be found in between the house and the cellar or just playing in the yard. Ask them about their horses! Great wines and cute merch!

I heard that Arkansas has seven wineries. So here's 1 of 7. What you will find here is a small, quaint, family-run business that produces some very unique fruit wines (love the Elderberry Wine). Can't go wrong with FREE tastings (hear that Napa - free) and a gracious host who answered all my questions about the different, local grape varieties. Unfortunately, their 'regular' wines, produced from those local grape varieties were not quite up to par in my opinion. Worth stopping by to pick up a fruit wine.

We LOVED this winery! Best in Altus! Big Daddy port was an unexpected but delicious find!

Loved the winery! Great people. A old well greets you when you enter, beautiful plants. There is a gift shop and a tasting room. The staff is wonderful, nice pours. The winery is part of Post family. The Big Daddy port is yummy

This was the last winery stop for us, but it was the best! Super friendly and Peggy Post was amazing. I would give it more stars if I could.

They were very friendly, I liked all of there wines, but out of all the wines I tasted, Elderberry and Big Daddy port were by far my favorite.

Today we came for Sunday lunch and enjoyed quiche. Lorraine and the kids had spaghetti with meat sauce. We had a black forest cake for dessert and also ice cream sundaes for the kids. We drank Whitaker's sparkling grape juice for our meal. It was a great hit. The kids really enjoyed it and they said they wanted to come back soon! It's probably been five or six years since we have been here and the kids really didn't remember it. We did learn that they're not giving tours of the wine cellar since Covid at least not without some kind of special arrangement. The service was excellent and I would add the same lady that waited on me today was waiting on me many years ago when I first visited here when I was 11 years old. That's been more then 40 years ago.

If you enjoy sweet wines like us, we loved the strawberry alpine and the chocolate wine as well as the red muscadine. They had many other wines to choose from as well. Our son does not enjoy wine, but they offered non-alcoholic beverages for him to sample as well. We appreciated this kindness. In addition to the wines we purchased some artisan soaps and body lotion made from wine sediments with amazing scents. We also purchased some homemade apple butter. As it happened today we were not hungry at the time so we did not visit the restaurant but look forward to going there on a future trip. The clerk was extremely helpful and friendly. She took the trouble to make sure we enjoyed the experience and got out of it what we were looking for. This was all the more appreciated since this was our daughter's first wine tasting.

The owner greeted us at the bar with great service and knowledge of all the wines. I have visited my share of wineries across the country but having this hidden gym located in Fortsmith/ Fort Chaffee is such a treat! They do not grow the grapes on site based on location but blend the juices to make the best wine blends. The design of the spaced is absolutely amazing. It tucked away in a old military space. This place is large in side and would be perfect for a party or reception. My mom and I decided to the flight as it allows you to try three different wines. The wine was tasty, I walked away with the merlot being my favorite. My mom loved the green apple! I can't to try more of the wines on my next visit.
