Of course the minute I realized the hotel didn't have a restaurant... my retirement road trip survival instincts kicked in: "Find closest pet-friendly patio immediately!" And WOW... what a find! Uncork'd Wine Bar absolutely delivered! This locally loved Fort Smith spot is known for its huge wine selection, cozy upscale vibe, incredible patio, craft cocktails, and surprisingly amazing food menu. Spot on. But honestly? The service may have stolen the show. Friendly, attentive, welcoming to the BBoyz... just one of those places that instantly makes you glad you stopped there And when they overheard me mention I forgot my jacket in the car... they immediately brought me the softest blanket to keep warm on the patio Now THAT is hospitality. After 21 days on the road and plenty of meals along the way... this was hands down the best "non-home-cooked" meal of the trip so far Rainstorm survived BBoyz approved patio Warm blanket rescue #MilesAndBBoyz #Stop14 #FortSmithArkansas #Uncorkd #RetiredAndRolling #PetFriendlyPatio #RoadTripFinds

By the Glass - Mixed Mediterranean Olives ($5.50) after my son had eaten about 1/3.

"By the Glass" may be a wine bar but for me, after a single visit, it will be forever known as "the…read moreplace with the olives". To accompany our happy hour wines my son and I ordered two of his favorite things: Mixed Mediterranean Olives ($5.50) and a Spanish cheese ($9). Perhaps I've spent too long in the Bay Area or perhaps they do things differently in Arkansas but the mountainous bowl of olives that arrived at our table sparked utter joy. This wasn't 5, 10, or even 15 olives; I think it might've been a whole jar's worth. It was not only amusing, but an utter delight. One hundred percent chance of a return visit for the olives alone. We followed with the Spanish cheese and more wine but there was no getting beyond the olives. That's what we'd be talking about. Forever. By the Glass has a good happy hour ($5/glass for selected wine) which pertains only to the wines. It's a low-key, comfortable, unpretentious spot that's received recognition as the best bar, the best wine bar, the best trendy bar, and the best happy hour bar from a variety of publications. During my visit it was quiet and welcoming, an environment I'd feel equally comfortable in either solo or with friends. If you like wine, "By the Glass" is a good find. If you like olives it's even better.

The decor was very homey and intimate with quirky artwork and a really neat cork BtG design near the bar. Great ambience They had a great selection of wine and even some beer for those that dont like wine. I asked for a dry red suggestion and the wine was very good. It was smooth, dry and perfect for the night. Would definitely visit again next time i'm in Little Rock!

The wine bar is super trendy and modern and there is a secret patio area in the back with live music and several fire pit tables to sit around. I believe you need to reserve a patio seat which can be done on their website. We ordered a few drinks and a bottle of rose to enjoy during our time here. They have a variety of wine, beer, and even cocktails on their menu. Service was amazing and everyone was super friendly and helpful. The owner, Cathy, is also very personable and sweet and makes sure you're taken care of. This is a wonderful spot for a date night or an evening with your girls. The ambiance of Splash Wine Bar was exactly what we were looking for and the live music was just amazing. I highly recommend you add this on your list of places to visit.

Between the costumes, live music, and upbeat crowd, it was the place to be. The staff was super friendly and accommodating, and we scored a great table out on the patio--perfect for people-watching and soaking up the atmosphere. I had an Austrian Pinot Noir that was smooth and delicious, followed by an espresso martini. It was labeled "crème brûlée," though it didn't quite have that flavor, but still a solid martini made with real espresso. The standout dish, though, was the corn crème brûlée--absolutely amazing! The caramelized topping had that perfect shatter before you dive into the creamy, savory center. A definite must-try.
