John and I are very impressed. His private room is very spacious with three large picture windows looking out to lovely fields and woods. It's immaculately clean. All the staff are wonderful, especially OTs and PTs. They have given John many hours of therapy with great compassion, kindness, and professionalism. He is in a lot of pain. The aides and nurses are so caring and kind to him. In his younger years, he had a band which played at Glendale often. We love that there is entertainment in the Multi-Purpose Room about twice a week, including everything from folk bands, DJs, and even an Elvis impersonator! Last week, an ice cream social was held outside with a singer and Mr. Ding-a-Ling giving out ice cream. This type of thing helps relieve boredom which can happen easily when confined to a bedroom. Also, once a week religious services are given. As devout Catholics, we appreciate mass and communion each Tuesday. The Director Todd visits every resident to make sure they are happy and asks if there is anything he could do to help them. We never saw this before in other facilities. John says the food is wonderful. I wish I could eat there every day. A menu is given a month in advance so you can select all of your meals. On Thursdays, pizza is delivered by a local pizzeria. Every place is spotless. If you have any concerns, they are addressed immediately. So I thank everyone who works at Glendale Home. You make my life and my husband's live very much better. Thank you. This place is the worst and I wouldn't send my worst enemy here. They left my boyfriend in his own…read moreurine and waste multiple times, ignoring the call bells and not checking in for hours. My boyfriend suffered damage in his spine and was unable to move any of his limbs, multiple times he became stuck and hit the call bell just for no one to come for over an hour. There were times he wasn't fed his dinner until 1am, and many times staff would come to check on him while on their phones, disregarding what he said. At one point he requested to go to the ER, as he was getting worse daily and wanted to see a doctor, he was refused twice. Had to wait until he was at a doctors appointment and demand to be sent to the ER from there just to get there. Turns out the doctor confirmed he should have been sent the moment he asked because he urgently needed another surgery. They tried to wipe it under the rug that he was getting worse and would have continued pretending he was fine if the doctor hadn't advocated and listened when he said he didn't want to go back. They messed up taking him to appointments, making him miss them and did less than the bare minimum for therapy. The staff there are only there for a paycheck, spending most of their time on their phones and ignoring their patients. Don't send your loved ones here, they'll end up worse than ever before

Mary's Meadow was recommended to her and our whole family is so grateful she had access to the care there. The staff genuinely care and are so kind, professional, knowledgable, and helpful. They go above and beyond in many ways, including giving my mom uplifting words of encouragement and helping her stay positive. Also, all the meals are hand-made and nutritious. We were all relieved my mom got the nutritional support and oversight she did while there. She regained a lot of strength from the food, which was always delicious and delivered on time. The whole place is clean and comfortable. There are doctors, nurses, and other caregiving professionals (e.g., physical therapists, nutritionists, etc.) on hand. We remain very grateful to the whole team at Mary's Meadow!

I have been very pleased with this center because of all the care he has received.Th nurses and people who work there really seem caring and attend to his medical needs. My dad has been in another that was truly a nightmare. Now that he is here I can sleep at night with assurance there is not an abusive back ground. Do your home work well when your parent needs short term rehab because so many are run by the state and could actually do harm.
