The nursing staff seemed unable to follow their own care plan (incorrect dosage of medication) and were unable to communicate the plan down to the aides. I sat with my mother for 3.5 hours and her brief wasn't changed once. All of this said, the aides were lovely and kind. Nursing staff not so much.

I couldn't BELIEVE the amount of people who were here hours after me and then were seen before me. The common phrase overheard "I was here last night and left because the wait was so long I'm feeling worse today." There is clearly no systems in place here to help patients in a timely manner. I only came here cause all urgent cares were closed at the time I needed assistance. Wait times now are going on 3.5 hours. I'm only staying at this location because I have committed to waiting here for this long. If you need assistance seek help elsewhere. I can't comment on the care cause I haven't been seen... I will update this review after being seen. Update #1: we have hit the four hour mark. The RN behind the counter sincerely cares for patients you can tell she is doing anything she can to get people in. We will wait a bit longer and give a second update. Update 2: Nurses in back are very friendly! I would have less severe and severe rooms to reduce wait times for all patients. There was NO reason to be here four hours for what I needed to be seen for. The only reason to come here was because nothing else was open at the time and my primary told me to.

Probably the only competent doctor in the entire facility is Doctor Rodriguez. ZERO STARS. The only reason I'm going back there is to get my vehicle. Oh yeah, security STOLE $120 from my wallet during my stay. I bet they don't react out to me to make this right. You're risking your life going to Ellis Hospital.

Her response was that Mr. Pierro would be in to provide that. It was pretty stunning to hear $6k and I am sure if I presented with fewer assets the fee would be different, otherwise there would be transparency. I've since established the trust, and that plus a will, power of attorney, and health care proxy were all executed with a different law office, specializing in estate planning for $3k.

Now I have been referred to them for therapy for my lower back, and they tell me that they are not on my insurance Network. And the person I spoke with was quite rude. I called my insurance (AARP United Healthcare) and was told that they are in network, and they called Sunnyview and never heard back. Every time I call, I get an option to leave a message, and I never receive a callback

I have been very pleased with this center because of all the care he has received.Th nurses and people who work there really seem caring and attend to his medical needs. My dad has been in another that was truly a nightmare. Now that he is here I can sleep at night with assurance there is not an abusive back ground. Do your home work well when your parent needs short term rehab because so many are run by the state and could actually do harm.
