History

Established in 1977.

Mount Kisco Frame Shop was opened in 1977 by Patricia and Bruce Macaulay. It has evolved and grown since then to being currently owned and run by Greg Hare and a great team! Greg Hare who worked for the Macaulays for many years before the transition has been in the industry for over 20 years as have many of the other designers at the shop. A sense of it can be done and an environment of ease and helpfulness has been our vibe for years and will be for many more to come.

Hi, my name is Greg Hare owner of mount kisco frame shop. I am an artist, musician, visionary and all about Spirit! I have been framing since high school and have worked in many interesting environments; some where framing original Picasso's, Rockwell's Miro, Calder, Cassat and more were the norm. We have also designed and framed many objects from a torch from the olympics to a WW2 bomber jacket and love childrens art; the lack of inhibition and expression of joy and innocence, love them! Running a business, the world of picture framing, installation, restoration and more is a constanly evoling and growing world for me and our family here are passionate knowledgable experts ready to help.
