Went here earlier today, was disappointed by the customer service from a very unpleasant woman. She had absolutely no idea what she was looking at, claimed she has 20 years experience?! She was nasty and upon that I left. I do not recommend this shop. read more

Let me guess..... the "unpleasant woman" was Heather? I called two months ago seeking two custom frames. She made a point of indicating that based on some childhood experience she hates men with my name..... whatever. I was asked to text a photo of what I needed which I did and two months later, not even the courtesy of a response. Despicable service and not worth even considering. I would rather purchase a standard frame in a size slightly larger than what I need and have a carpenter size it down. I wouldn't deal with this store if I were offered frames for free. The disdain for human life is obscene. read more

I've been going here for over 15 years. Greg and his employees are very helpful in selecting frames and mats. They understand if you don't want to spend a ton of money on a frame, and they never push you to buy something you don't want. They work pretty quickly and the quality of work is terrific. It's a wonderful small business with caring employees. read more

We can and have worked with a full spectrum of artwork objects and mirrors. From framing world renowed artists originals to childrens art and posters, we love what we do! We also provide expert professional art installation/hanging services, pick up ,delivery and a full array of art and object restoration. In our large show room we also have a budding art gallery and a unique assortment of photo frames and readymades. In business since 1977 we welcome you.

History

Established in 1977.

Mount Kisco Frame Shop was opened in 1977 by Patricia and Bruce Macaulay. It has evolved and grown since then to being currently owned and run by Greg Hare and a great team! Greg Hare who worked for the Macaulays for many years before the transition has been in the industry for over 20 years as have many of the other designers at the shop. A sense of it can be done and an environment of ease and helpfulness has been our vibe for years and will be for many more to come.

Hi, my name is Greg Hare owner of mount kisco frame shop. I am an artist, musician, visionary and all about Spirit! I have been framing since high school and have worked in many interesting environments; some where framing original Picasso's, Rockwell's Miro, Calder, Cassat and more were the norm. We have also designed and framed many objects from a torch from the olympics to a WW2 bomber jacket and love childrens art; the lack of inhibition and expression of joy and innocence, love them! Running a business, the world of picture framing, installation, restoration and more is a constanly evoling and growing world for me and our family here are passionate knowledgable experts ready to help.
