I am VERY particular with my landscaping and spent several weeks designing exactly what I wanted. Most of the time, things just don't turn out like I imagined them to be but our landscaping turned out even BETTER than what I was hoping. Josh (Owner) and Ben (Manager) were amazing in helping us to choose the right tree/shrub for the location to ensure enough sunlight or shade. I wanted the big giant rocks and he was very careful in choosing the ones I wanted because he knew "the look" I was going for and he nailed it. They are perfect and are perfectly placed. After the install, Josh stopped in when we were out of town to make sure everything looked ok. It has been 3 weeks or so since the install and we noticed our dogwood was under a lot of stress so we called Josh. He came out and figured out that the tree was getting too much water and needed to be replanted in an area not so susceptible to water retention. So tomorrow he is sending a couple guys over to replant the trees. He stands behind his work, is a great person to work with and has an amazing business that we want to tell everyone about. But I knew nothing of central vacuums. The label on the old vac said "BEAM" so googling I go, and off I went to the Beam store. I walked in with 100 questions. To my absolute shock, they pulled up the original invoice, PAPER INVOICE, from a file cabinet that was completely legible with all of the info from my house's installation over 30 years ago. Wow. Talk about organized. Now, I can look at upgrades to my existing unit that STILL WORKS. The people here were extremely helpful and their units are beautiful. They answered all my questions and were so friendly. I got prices ($$$$) and immediately went home and started searching online. It appears that you can only purchase a Beam central vacuum from a dealer within 100 miles of your home, to eliminate online purchases or something. Booo. I was trying to avoid my ridiculous local sales tax rates. I'll be back to this location to get my vacuum, which can be either installed yourself or installed by them. You can walk in and walk out with a system, no ordering needed. And, they have brass wall outlets! Looking forward to my own space age vac!

We contacted them by email and text to ask someone to stop by and take a look as well as to find out what kind of herbicide they applied to our lawn. So far no one showed up. One factor could be they applied the herbicide a couple of days after our lawn got cut. And our lawn was cut short than 3 inches. It was extremely heat in August too. The tragic browning of our lawn could have been avoided should the crew have professional common sense regarding lawn care and they should have advised us to postpone the treatment.

BUT we know that what did not work now does work! Thank you, Booms Welding!!! - - - We ordered a pellet smoker and the first one that was delivered was clearly damaged, seemingly before it was put in the box at the factory; the manufacturer sent us a replacement, and since the first one was too big to send back, they let us keep it. The smoker is upright, similar to a dorm or hotel refrigerator (but bigger), and the damage made it out-of-square... it was tilted just a bit, and that bit was just enough to prevent the shelves from being supported on all four corners... if we were to use it and to put meat on it to cook, a sizable amount would have made the shelf tilt and fall. We had met Joel before, searching for help on another home project; Joel was very friendly and helpful; while the part we needed repaired couldn't be repaired (we ultimately found an unexpected replacement...), Joel was straightforward... he clearly understood our ask and shared why he wanted to help but just couldn't. That impressed us. So when we needed the smoker repaired, we called Joel. He came to visit and to determine what to do; Joel suspected that welding a couple metal pieces inside the smoker would provide the support that the shelves needed. We just needed to get the smoker to their shop and their welding equipment. We took the smoker to Booms and dropped it off. Within an hour they had it repaired... they were able to straighten the frame and to then make two welds to hold it in the straightened position. The repair was done so well and so professionally that, when they showed us the two welds, which they painted, in the bright outside sunshine, we could barely the repairs... the smoker, with the welds, looked like brand new. And thus we had a smoker to share with a friend. Thank you, Joel, Stephen and Brandon!! - - - - - -

I've been waiting on a few dominos to fall in order to start the permit process to install some…read moreracks in my warehouse, and one of the later dominos that needed to drop was getting some cross bars cut down to size. Due to some dates being pushed up, I needed those bars to be cut down sooner rather than later. I emailed info@booms and had a response within the hour. They asked me if I wanted to bring the bars in or have them pick-up; I chose to deliver them directly to Booms and the gentlemen I spoke with said he should have them done by the end of the day. He notified me later that afternoon that they were done. I just picked the bars up and they look amazing. Exactly what I needed, just as specified. I am very pleased with the work performed by Booms. If you are looking for a professional, local, reliable, and quality metal fabricator - I would highly suggest Booms.
