The buffet was catered and is a sample of what might be offered at a service. This small location is behind the HEB in Bastrop. You park in the front and side is where cars may line up if there was a procession. The only negative issue was there there is only 1 mens and 1 women's bathroom and so there can be quite a wait for bathrooms depending on the crowd. there are nice chairs but not a lot of table space.

They wouldn't even schedule the funeral until after the meeting so it was going to be 2-3 weeks away. Everything was arranged perfectly and with dignity. The cost was half of what we had arranged with the other home. I could not be happier with Providence-Jones.

It occupies roughly about 4 acres and most of the burials have taken place in the last 50 years. There are quite a number of service members buried here, but I did not find any WWI vets. I called around to get some quotes on having a photograph printed on a porcelain memorial piece which is then afixed to the headstone. They were definitely the most reasonably priced, but I was surprised that this service is close to the $300 mark (some places wanted more). Normally it would be a little more because they'll carve out a spot on the headstone and afix it for you, but I just needed to get it to go and take it with me out of state. Just so you know, this service takes about a month to do. There's also one other unique thing you'll find here. In the back of their parking lot are five different food trucks to choose from. They are not very visible from Burnet Road and they do have some outdoor seating as well. Plenty of photos to get you acquainted.
