I hired him to attach some reclaimed boards to my kitchen island to give the room a beachy feel. His price was more than fair, especially after seeing how precisely and methodically he works, making sure all the mitered edges were perfect, removing and re-attaching the baseboard and outlets, etc. David has an excellent design sense - and had some great suggestions (such as varying the width of the boards) which improved the project immensely. David is a really nice guy who you feel comfortable having in your home for 5 hours. I highly recommend David and literally am trying to think of another project he can do, since THIS one improved our house so much, and at such a reasonable cost. He is very versatile artist as far as the scope of what he can create.
