She ordered blood labs reviewing them to show my normal thyroid function, prescribed me Synthroid (when wrongly prescribed causes mood swings, irritability, memory loss, various cancers) and wrongly diagnosed me with "hypothyroidism." Next, Stephanie Donovan prescribed me Selmaglutide for "sugar cravings" for mood. She explained she is giving her clients Selmaglutide for "sugar cravings" referring to it as the "skinny shot." I was so confused but trusted her. I have a BMI of 21. The FDA approved Selmaglutide for 27kg/m2 or greater. This resulted in full body tremors, cold sweats, and blacking out while I collapsed in a parking lot. What I thought was a quiet moment for mom turned into terror. She diagnosed me "periomenopausal" leading me to spend thousands on ultrasounds, OB-GYN appts confirming I am unreservedly not. Hundreds spent on an endocrinologist and professor at MUSC informing me after a year thinking I had hypothyroidism, confirmed wrong. If I had continued to trust her and not go to MUSC to see doctors and not an NP, I would have continued to take these medications as she wanted me on Selmaglutide and Synthroid indefinitely. I formally advocated for NPs but this has unfortunately changed my mind. If she had simply refunded me the cost of my appts for wrong diagnoses, wrong prescriptions, and a year of stress due to her negligence, I would have let this go, but she declined. I thought this misfortune would end at the door, yet when Melissa Altman RN then met me for my appointment and was also not wearing one at all, she told me I could take mine off if it made me feel comfortable which obviously it did not and she didn't put on a mask to meet my comfort level displayed. I can't proceed with a medical treatment by professionals that are not even taking the virus seriously. Otherwise I think I would've continued with Merge Medical.
