So much to see here. Perfect for photos. The sculptures change here and there. But Humpty is a the staple of this place. Love seeing him. There is a skateboard park spot too. That's pretty cool for the kids.

Whether it's going out for a stroll or just biking around town mount saint mary park has a lot to offer. From local art sculptures all throughout (some for sale), a skateboarding area, tennis, picnics under the gazebo, to benches throughout to enjoy the breeze of the along the fox river. I even noticed kids doing a scavenger hunt along the park. There is even a veranda spot where you can rent out for parties or special events. Overall there is something for everyone. I've driven by this park many times and the golden Humpty Dumpty caught my eye. So finally one weekend on a long bike ride from north aurora I decided to check this park out. I think it's great well kept and definitely worth seeing.

We started coming here back when my son was stroller age. It's a nice park that offers about a mile in paved trails, an extensive playground, great views of the river, a little stream for kids to play in and several sculptures. In the middle of all of that is a good deal of grass space equipped with picnic tables and a gazebo. Little has changed over the years with the exception of the artwork. Some of the sculptures tend to swap out from time to time. Currently, Humpty stands (or in his case, sits) guard on the Rt31 side of the park. The Fox River side is watched over by a rather large turtle. Other great pieces of artwork are spread throughout. MSM has a direct trail connections to head south towards Geneva and north into the downtown area as well. Be sure to walk the entire path to get a full scope of the park and all it has to offer. Cheers.

A nice place to take a stroll in the park. Sculptures, benches, on the river in St Charles. Very nice.

This park is impeccably maintained, safe & offers a vast green space along with ample parking. Views of the fox river, mature trees & big lush grassy lawn. There are numerous activities available besides walking, biking, picnicking. You can enjoy amenities such as a baseball park, tennis/pickleball courts, paddle boats & mini golf (for a fee), fitness circuit, beach volleyball & bocce or bring your own set of outdoor games. Also a small water park with slides. Now all that's lacking is a set of basketball hoops & this would be THE perfect park! The bike path runs alongside the scenic Fox River, providing breathtaking views. Benches & picnic tables are plentiful & scattered throughout the park. It's the perfect spot to set up a pop-up tent & picnic blanket like we always do. You can also rent a pavilion for parties & gatherings. This park is conveniently located near a variety of restaurants, stores & bookstores on Main St. in St. Charles.

Paddle boats, scenic boat ride and mini golf. There are some snacks sold by the mini golf area. My only complaint is there isn't enough restrooms. There is one facility close to the parking lot but it is a long walk of you decide to camp farther away. There should at least be portopotties spread out.

This is the best disc golf course in The Kane. Hands down…read more My 6yr old son and I head over here all year round to play this course. The Wheeler disc course sculpts a greater park that also claims several walking/bike paths, a baseball field, soccer/hockey fields, picnic areas, a playground, a mini golf course and tennis courts. Some of the holes are too hard for him to come close to par, but others are a great fit for his current ability. The course has a great range in difficulty which spans from easy par 3's to challenging par 4's. Legging out the entire course is about a 2 mile venture. The backwoods holes are a real hoot. Can't tell you the number of times I've headed into the tree's or the ravine to find a disc that's hooked too far right or left. Throwing from the top of the hill on hole #11 is a person fav. Just don't be surprised if you have to perform the aforementioned trip on a stray disc. Other holes feature baskets on the other side of a cluster of tree's, some border natural grass/reed areas, while others have very lengthy fairways weaving lines of tree's. Amenities-wise there's a drinking fountain near the parking lot and bathrooms near the playground. If you need anything else, bring it. Most golfers here like to bring their own beverage of choice. Cheers!
