I made the right move when I called Dawn from Rooted Outdoor Living to get some work done in my yard! Existing perennials needed to be split, overgrown plantings needed to be modified, and a stone step was needed for the garage service door. Dawn walked my yard with me and we talked about what I wanted to accomplish, and our plan came together! She moved things around, took out a few tired plants, and added some beautiful perennials and shrubs to fill the empty spaces. Dawn was great to work with. She took the time to carefully plan and design landscaping that works with the existing space and met all our needs. We ended up framing the drawings she provided because they we so beautiful! Throughout the project we had a few changes and additions and Dawn was surprisingly accommodating. Her crew did a terrific job and were clean and professional in their work. Rooted Outdoor Living was not the cheapest option we explored, but their professionalism and quality of work made the cost absolutely worth it and I would argue represents a good value for what they provide. Hi Dawn, Thank you for the email.  It was a pleasure too and I must admit, it really exceeded my expectations. The before and after photos taken now are just amazing and the neighbors have really complimented on the work done. From the initial meeting, to the landscape plan, to the plant and brick selection to the completion.  Once you see the place with the new shutters up, you'll know exactly what I mean how it all ties in. The gentlemen; all are professional, experts and focus driven. I can already see watering will be time intensive at first, especially with this upcoming heatwave next week. It was a pleasure working with Dawn and her team. She combines exceptional design skills with a buttoned down business. Communication was excellent. She worked with us to perfect the design then did a great job of setting expectations and following through. We did the entire property and when it came time for our installation Dawn was on site. She produced a very imaginative draft of a design and then sat down with my wife and myself and went over the details, listened very carefully to our questions and comments, and then made superb revisions to the plan. I found Rooted Outdoor Living doing a Yelp search for landscape design. I sent a connection request, and Dawn called me back very quickly. She came out and looked at our job, measured the area. She listened to what we wanted, and came back in a week or so with a plan for our area. She gave us options for the types of plants to use. The day the work was scheduled, she and her team came out right at the time they said they would. They were very professional, and had the area they were working cleared very quickly. Her company installed a first and second round of very large trees across our entire back property line. The costs were comparable to other companies we reached out to, but her nursery products were top notch.
