Fabulous selection of plants and flowers, as well as planters/pots and a ton of garden-themed gift ideas. After paying my regards to their resident turtle in the pond in their greenhouse, I usually can't resist bringing home a new plant-baby for myself - even if I am there to shop for others :) I had to replace a houseful of plants after relocating from across the country and every plant I have gotten from Mount Williams Greenhouses has thrived. I have also been the recipient of their delivered flower arrangements, which as others have agreed, are lovely to receive and give. I ordered two funeral bouquets from Mt Williams and was thrilled with the results. I selected Mt. Williams based on good reviews and ordered the first set of flowers using their website for selection. The site is easy to use and there was an opportunity to make special requests using the site. I ordered a spectacular bouquet and gave them a weekend notice to prepare. I also ordered a second basket only hours before the service and was told they could not prepare an ornate wreath but they worked with me to prepare a large basket of in-season mums. I made this order via phone and the clerk was friendly and helpful. I saw both arrangements and was pleased by both. They were truly special with fresh beautiful flowers. I would highly recommend Mt. My husband and I got married at Williams College this past July, and Mt. Williams did all of our flowers for our ceremony, reception, and rehearsal dinner. The bouquets, boutonnieres, centerpieces, aisle decorations, and chapel pieces were all absolutely exquisite. Alice and her team were extremely patient with me (I know nothing about flowers and wasn't sure what I wanted!) and they demonstrated an exceptional talent for pulling out the theme/general ideas I wanted and creating beautiful pieces to realize it. I kid you not when I say that the flowers came out even more beautiful than I could have ever imagined. Moreover, Alice worked very carefully with us to make sure that we stayed within our budget; she really helped us make sure that we got the most bang for our buck! Alice and Mt. Williams did the flowers for our recent wedding ceremony and reception up at Bascom Lodge. The ceremony decorations, table centerpieces, window pieces, bridal bouquet, and boutonnieres were simply gorgeous. We got repeated comments on how lovely the flowers were. Alice worked with us and our parents to ensure that everyone would be happy despite my lack of knowledge about flowers. I requested fall colors with a wild flower theme and she took it from there. Not only were the flowers beautiful but they lasted for nearly two weeks after the wedding, leaving our guests with a lovely memory of the event. We could not have been happier with the flowers or with our interactions with Alice at Mt. Williams. We highly recommend them! read more
