Wouldn't come here on my own but the school I'm working for this summer had a trip here. Do NOT plan to walk barefoot here the hills and rocks are not for the faint hearted and it's not very accessible if you have disabled individuals in your group. They offer a lot but it's really spread out and the rides are pretty rough. It's moderately clean and the bathrooms are pretty grungy but people are cleaning them. Staff and lifeguards are attentive. Everyone in the park seems to be foreign and hardly spoke English. the park is his credit card only so I literally couldn't eat or drink . It's not the rides anymore that make this place dangerous it's the total lack of safety protocol and crowd control, mixed with patrons being over served. It is a disaster waiting to happen. (Though I guess if everyone is piss ass drunk...it sure helps nix any lawsuits) * a piece of rope to act as a barrier at the top of an 18 ft. cliff is not sufficient * enforcement of these boundaries is needed. Patrons should not be climbing over the rope to stand at the edge of the cliff to watch their friends as they jump or slide * if patrons express they are reluctant or hesitant to go on a ride, especially a more extreme ride - they should not be allowed to linger in the "go zone" as trying to make up their mind as other patrons take their turn. * complete lack of any security at all. Relying on lifeguards and other patrons to break up fights. * general crowd control. People pushing and crowding is never good. Mix that with alcohol, insufficient and/or disregard for barriers around cliffs and ledges and no security...things turn deadly in an instant. This could be a really fun park. Some of the rides definitely have risk factors that most other parks don't and that's what could make this park amazing! However, the additional risk factors outlined above make this park, as it would any other, a hard pass for me. read more

The staff are not very nice or friendly. They make you feel like you are inconvenience to them. The parking lot are unorganized and there no employees to put car in the right direction. So then you have cars block in other cars. The park its self is very big, lot walking. They no rhythm or route for the rides, they are just scattered all of the place. The lines are minimum hour. Honestly it's okay. The rides are really good and honestly the park is really fun. However some of the employees (not all most of them were really nice) were a bit rude and would just have a really bad attitude towards everyone they encountered. I went on a Sunday and the place felt overbooked to the point where people started leaving because they weren't having fun. One piece of advice for anyone coming here is be prepared to walk A LOT and up the hill all the time. There is A LOT of people on weekends so be prepared to make lines that go on for up to an hour. The bathrooms and changing rooms are literally nasty especially at the end of the day and it's not because of the cleaning staff... it's the fact that it's super old and there is spider webs everywhere and there is also just 4 showers for the whole park. I love waterparks so much -- but this was the single worst experience at a waterpark in my life. There was absolutely no coordination for any of the (egregiously long) lines, people were smoking all over the place, there was trash overflowing from the garbage containers, people were cutting in lines, and 90% of the employees couldn't care less. The biggest problem with this waterpark was the egregious overflow of people. If there are capacity limits, there is no way they are within those parameters. There are swarms of people everywhere. Virtually every line had an hour wait to get a tube, then a 30 minute wait to go on a slide that is very, very much not worth the wait. Waiting for food alone was an hour-long affair. I would strongly recommend going to ANY other water park than this one. Save yourself the time and money. read more

My experience at the Waterpark--- Only one words comes to mind, TRASH! Honestly save your money and go somewhere else!!!You got parents sending their kids to skip the lines so they can say their kid is in front, to sneak their way up to the front of the line. Staff have no control over the people that come into the water park. My experience started off waiting for 1hr and 30mins to get a inflated tub and then to get to another line(25mins) to actually go down a ride. a lost child happen to appear out of nowhere throws his yeti cup down the ride and then runs away crying. Fights and arguments happening while we were waiting for this ride and the lost child walking around. Basically a free for all! That was just one ride by the way. People throwing themselves off a cliff who then realize they can't swim and lifeguard has to jump in to save them. This park is a mess and needs new management. read more

Went there with my boyfriend for the Waterpark and the Alpine Mountain Coaster and we had a blast. The downside is all the hills you have to walk through in order to go on one ride, it felt like we were hiking. They aren't as big as Dorney Park or Six Flags but I think this Mountain Creek is unique for their 16ft cliff dive pool. My favorite was the Alpine Coaster! You get a beautiful scenic view from the top of the mountain, the ride was awesome because you have control of how fast or slow you want to go. Another downside is that they just have limited rides which makes the busiest days like Friday and Saturday lines for the rides feel longer than usual. The workers were very kind and tried their best to help everyone check in but unfortunately the scanner system was not cooperating that day. read more

Really disappointing, we bought our tickets earlier that week because it said they had limited tickets due to covid. The website didn't say anything about limited slides being open until the morning of. Even checking in, the welcome host said only 2 rides were closed...upon getting inside it was more like 2 slides open. We went to complain to the customer service guy and he said that honestly the park isn't fully staffed after July 15th. If that's known, that should be clearly communicated to attendees who are paying full price for a small portion of the park. Seems like they are aware and are scamming people into buying full price tickets. He only offered a ticket for next year, not sure why we would want to come back. My exprience with Mountain Creek was indispicable. Bags, thrown on the floor, opened with valuble stuff laying all throughout the locker room. Employees were taking our bags without permisson and what it looked like, violently chucking them on the floor. My friends expensive beats were under all ski equiment along with debit cards, credit cards, giftcards and greenlight cards were faced down on the wet ground, without any name to track the owner. Almost a 500 dollar jacket was smudged on the ground with dirt marks on it. Expensive shoes were on opposite sides on the room. These employees do not feel remorse because when i was trying to explain my feelings about the situation, they completley disregarded them. I cannot believe the outcome of this trip and how it ended and will not be returning because of the awful service i was recieved... I wish i could rate this experience a zero but if i did i couldnt have left this needed review so i have to give it a one considering the circumstances. It was nice being back here I had been here as a kid, and of course, everything seemed bigger and more exciting. It is still fun going now as an adult, 10 years later, but I don't know if I would go back again. I think it caters better towards kids, teens, and families. My favorites were definitely Colorado River Rapids and High Anxiety. I also went on Zero G, which actually did scare me since there's a trap door that open up beneath you into a tube slide that is high up. H2-OH-NO! happened to be closed when I went, not sure why. Lines were super short as we went on a weekday. By the time we carried a tube up for a ride, there was 1-2 people in front of us so we got go on everything we wanted to multiple times which was great. I would recommend going on a day that isn't too hot because the walk from each ride to the next is a few minutes and it hurts to walk on the pavement. Mountain Creek is also located on a mountain so it does get tiring walking a couple minutes from one ride to another especially when it's an uphill. We went on a day that was low 80's with some cloudiness and that was perfect since it wasn't too hot, but the water was just a little cold, but the sun made the day perfect without it being so hot. We did end up wearing our flip-flops from one ride to the next. Some rides have cubbies for your shoes that you can put your shoes in while you ride. Most rides didn't have this, so I would recommend leaving it by the grass/rocks by the lifeguards or just tried to find a spot nearby the entrance and/or exit of the ride. Remember to pack an unopened water bottle. They allowed those in the park, but not reusable ones or ones that have already been opened. Food prices are expected to be higher, but it wasn't terrible. Hot Dogs were $3.75, but it was bigger than we thought it would be. The bathroom facilities are quite gross and sticky, but the overall park is nicely kept and staff was friendly. read more

I went on July 6th and before I even entered the women's bathroom/changing room, I could smell the odor- the bathrooms were absolutely TRASHED, garbage everywhere, the tampon box was overflowing. the entire place reeked like period blood. I had to change my clothes and I honestly debated changing behind a tree or something because of the conditions. I gagged 3 times and had to step out, then went in a minute later trying hard not to breathe outside of my shirt. I found a dressing room (also covered in trash and period products) and changed as fast as possible. when I had to pee later that day, I peed in the water. I really wish there were more attractions/rides for people with disabilities. the first attraction I went on was Bombs Away and the impact knocked out my lungs so bad I was visibly struggling to swim back to land. My friend went down right after me and had to pull me out of the water as the lifeguards sat in their chairs, and only stood from their chairs when I was 6 feet away from getting out of the water. They never said a word. I was unable to do anything for the rest of the day due to the impact. The wave pool needs to be capped with a capacity limit, someone was starting to drown while I was there and we ended up getting out of there. So much trash was floating in the water but not surprised since the bathrooms looked like nobody has cleaned them since the park opened for the season. The only positive note is that the park is very well shaded so if you don't wear sunscreen, you won't get a sunburn. read more

The best ride I would say is their Zero-G ride. And one of their underrated rides is The Gauley (or as I call it- The Gauntlet). It was too bad to see the Cannonball Falls ride now gone. Best bet is to get there right at 11am during the week; you'll have the best chance of getting on your favorite ride first with no wait. Weekdays are best time to go, and the camp kids usually are gone by 3:30pm. Food pricing: $9.75 for a cheeseburger, $3.75 for a hot dog, and $3 for a bag of chips. A bit steep, but Mountain Eats had a good variety of other offerings, including wraps and salads. Get the Fried Oreos at $5 per boat of five. They are the bomb. Check out the Skyline ride, which takes you on a gentle 12 minute round trip up & down the mountain; you can see remnants of the old alpine slide tracks which were ripped out & is now a downhill bike course. There is an Alpine ride which is not included in the wristband price; it's $6 per ride. For me, it pays homage to the Action Park days of the old alpine slides where road rash stories were a dime a dozen and crashes & human trains were commonplace. The ride has brakes on both sides now & is a lot safer, including having seatbelts for all sleds. The ride is completely enclosed now so there's no chance someone will go flying off the track. The funniest part of my day was the attendant at the top of the H2 Oh No ride - a white kid named Patrick. He looked all of maybe 17; he and the other ride operator were too busy vaping and lip syncing to hip hop artist music being piped in from an employee's Apple playlist. He kept trying to look cool doing a montage to artists that were around before he was even *born* to be paying attention to much else. read more

Mountain Creek is the tamed down version of my childhood Class Action Park. The theme park did not disappoint at all. The rides were still just as fun and still somewhat dangerous. The lines were not super long first thing in the morning but did pick up towards the afternoon. The prices were outrageous. Everything cost you, your first born child or left leg. The staff were rude and nasty teen adults and some almost got a free knuckle sandwich but overall if you just didn't pay attention to their insecurities and enjoyed yourself for the rides and moments, you will be fine. The one BS moment was the colored river, which you used to be able to for 5-6 people in a raft and now they only allow 2 people. For a party of three, one person gets left out. Which they don't tell you until you carry a raft up a hill and are about to bird said raft. They also would allow a single rider but they need a helmet, they just don't have helmets available. So you can see the frustration, none the less it came from a pop squeak who hit the gym once and was flexing for all the honeys. Honestly great day though, pay the extra money for closer parking and bring water to store in a locker. read more

Good Water park, the rides are not too crazy but the park is pretty spread out and you will be walking up many hills to get to the start of a ride. Went on 4th of July weekend and lines were pretty long. $40 for admission (buy tickets online), Lockers range from $20-30 depending on the size and you get $5 back when returning the key. The food is pretty terrible considering the price for the area - spent $9 on a burger and $4.50 for a soft drink. Overall a good experience, would not pay for food if you can bring granola bars instead. read more

"More like Calf Action Park" After reading previous stories about this park, I was very apprehensive about coming but I had a BLAST. We came on a Tuesday, so the park was not crowded at all. We waited 10-18 minutes for a ride, depending on the ride. The longest wait were for the tallest slides rides (about 30mins). We found that many of the popular rides did not have long lines after 2-2:30. I will say that I loved the overall layout of the park because you feel like you are in a natural environment rather than a water park in a concrete jungle. The ground is very rocky and there is A LOT of uphill walking, so bring a good pair of water shoes. Also, it would be wise to start at the highest part of the park and work your way down. The food prices and locker rentals are expensive, like most amusement parks, so be prepared for that. The food shop has your standard carnival food - fried and greasy but they do have some "healthy" options, like wraps and salads. Maybe next time I will try the BBQ house. The best rides are the funnel shaped one, the Cannonball, the whitewater rafting one (you have to wear a helmet for that one), and the Tarzan Swing. Be aware that the water is very cold for many of the rides. The wave pool was nice but you should really wear a life jacket if you are not a strong swimmer. I have been going here with my family for a reunion for the past 10 years. I went here this weekend, and I can definitely say I will never come back. My family including my two 8 year old children were racially harassed by a middle aged gentleman and his two children. They were screaming at us with racial profanity, making a scene for everyone and the staff did nothing about this. They gave him a "warning" even though he has scarred my two children and they cried the whole way home. They basically said to us "what can you do" If hatred is allowed at Mountain creek water park, I will never spend another dollar here and I implore you to do the same. read more

This Sunday I was here worse management people who they hired they were so rude unsafe rides life guards not helpful and not listening to customers. No safety rules big lawsuit will come soon if the employees don't take there job seriously. First and last time visited this place it's a health hazard bathrooms were so dirty And filthy. It's a good experience to take the family. I just won't go back. The best play area was the wave pool because the further in you go, it gets deeper so it's fun for all sizes, additionally, it's where everyone can just chill even when the wave dies down for a few minutes. The park is not that big but you have to walk a little to get to the other rides. There's no monitoring of the floaties nor the lines because families grab onto a Floatie and wait for their party to have one aswell before they go to the ride, causing the lines to become lengthy and take longer. Many people complained about one particular ride that should be equipped with a bigger size float because your butt is feeling the floor and can cause injury. I rented a cabana and it was swarmed with daddy long legs and tree debris. The patio seats weren't cleaned and the complimentary fruits were dry. It was one person checking you in at the parking lot for reserved parking only. It took about 30min to get through. My family and I went when it was raining on and off so we waited about an hour to get back on rides, that was understandable because of the thunder passing, by the second passing we just left to avoid waiting around. Every aspect of this park sucks. The workers, rude and non-helpful in any way at all. The park environment disgusting, bathrooms are uninhabitable and everywhere you look, masks, beer bottles, soda bottles, water bottles, napkins,. Drugs and alcohol, people walking around smoking marijuana, drinking beer. The food is overpriced and horrendous disgusting. Also called ahead of time to ask about when is the best time to come etc. and so on, no mention that weekends are a disaster And over half the park was closed because they didn't have anybody working. Do not go here on a weekend. I don't know if it's because we were there on a Sunday or if it's always this way, but we were shoulder to shoulder with people walking from one side to the next. There was about a 45 minute wait for each slide. The maps are confusing and we had to walk and walk to find a ride and then wait in line for 45 minutes. You cannot bring food in and the food there is horrible and you will pay about $20 per person for something like a hotdog and fries. The wave pool was so crowded you just got knocked into the person next to you, and the pool was also very dirty and smelled. read more

I actually really enjoyed mountain creek. There was an internet special that allowed for weekday entry for only $25. The parking was $3. That was great. THey get you on the lockers, which cost $20. Please. I am too cheap and smart for that. I took a towel and a credit card, and my car keys. I put that card (a small amount of cash) and the key in a small ziplock back and into my trunk pockets and forgot about them until I went the eat and then again when i left. That worked out great. The slides were awesome. The lines were not that bad on a friday, but they were long. There were some short ones. I jumped off a 100 foot slide, off a 20 foot cliff and did the high anxiety, which was pretty cool. I liked the huge slide the best. I loved having the park attendants ask me if i was a good swimmer and if i had a heart condition before i got on the rides as it made me feel as if I was back in the office. I love people who shift liability to you by affirmatively making you agree to a verbal waiver before you do something. Its like, you understand that you can die here right? good, if you die, dont act like we aint tell you it was possible. Go haunt someone else. I loved the park, though i wished it had more. Going around the mountain can be tiring. I put on water proof sunblock before and u should too. You should also strategically put your towel and shoes (aqua sock are best but I used crocks and prefer them due to the tough surfaces) near the end of a ride so that when you get off you can put them on and go. read more

I will explain why I gave three Stars. It's not that I didn't enjoy myself... Me and my family and best friend had so much fun for our first Time in Action Park. I have to compliment all the employees for the fast lines.... The wait time is wayyyyy better then trying to get on a rides in hurricane Harbor. They have unique rides like the cliff jump and the Tarzan... All the rides were very enjoyable. Took away one star because walking to each ride is like a work out.... It feels like boot camp but with a treat, and the treat is the ride! Second star I took away is because some of those ride knocks the wind out of you. All day I seen people getting hurt and the park EMT had to carry ppl to the Ambulance. It's freaking crazy. One ride gave us helmets to get on .... We all thought it was a joke until throughout the whole ride me and bff kept hitting each other's heads and bumping into so much rocks. Not saying I'm not recommending to go....
