It's a fun adventure! I've brought the family here a few times, always with some coupon. The adventure has plenty of obstacles for all levels. It's really a great workout too if you challenge yourself. Try and limit your dependency on holding the safety cord everywhere. It's exhilarating! The zip line is fun to try a few times. I'd say altogether we last 45 minutes, trying to enjoy everything. There's a smaller adventure area for little tykes. Some little ones will still have a fear of heights on that course too. Give it a try though. The staff are helpful and ensure everyone is comfortable, safe and following the rules. We've always enjoyed the adventure. read more

This is a really cool ropes course that spans the entire 4 floors in the atrium of the Palisades Center. The course begins on the 4th floor. You have to meet a certain height (I think it's 48") to go on the main course. They also do have a kiddy course to the side for toddlers and such. Cost is $28 for the main course and $12 for the kiddy course. The wait wasn't too bad when we got there (~5min), but when we finished, the line was quite a bit longer. So plan accordingly. read more

Ziplining and climbing all over the four stories, sometimes light traffic jams have you waiting (particularly on the Zipline) so go early if you can. Price is now a touch over $22 per person plus tax. The vertigo you get over as you focus on putting our feet in front of you and get comfortable with the safety harness. Staff was easygoing and friendly with the younger adventurers. Lots of parents took it easy on the sidelines. read more

PROS: Very unique concept and has been around for the last 10 years and hasn't missed a beat. They change the course every now and then and they have people in every corner willing to guide you. They go over safety protocols and make sure all safety requirements are met. There's also a kiddie version right next to it. CONS: Even before covid the line was always long because it can't take that many people which makes you have to reserve a time. My biggest pet peeve is that it's overpriced. First time trying this and had a blast! Went here on a Saturday with a group and highly recommend it. This is def something that can be enjoyed by both children and adults. Loved the zipline and every obstacle was a unique challenge. This was a great experience for our kids. The skill level ranges from easy to difficult. With that said I feel they should give more instructions on how the course is going to be and how to complete some of the tasks. I found my 14 year old niece wondering which way to go and going back over the easier locations because she wasn't sure how to go through smaller rope lines and there is no staff on the course to help guide them through it. I also find the course itself to be backwards since you start at the 4th floor work your way to the bottom and then you have to climb back up to get out. You walk by this height defying, balancing, Zipline in the mall adventure and dismiss it. I know I did, but finally after walking by it 4 times I decided to give it a try. Especially since they are offering a deal on Groupon! It is definitely not for those afraid if heights, because there were two girls in it that kept requiring assistance to cross platforms and held up everyone else. Don't be one of them. If you're gonna try it, you should embrace it and don't let your fear over come you. My son and I both over came our fears and floated across every level making our way to the Zipline at the very top. They don't really restrict your time, but will ask you to exit if you are not behaving safely or they have a long queue at the gate. I spent 45 minutes on it with my son and think we could have gone another 15 minutes if we had more time, but we had family waiting on us. I definitely recommend this is a great indoor activity and will be returning again. read more

This was actually more fun than I care to admit. My buddy and I were walking around the mall right before Juno and decided to give this a shot. They have free lockers for use since you're not allowed to bring anything onto the course with you for safety reasons. For $17, we soon found ourselves in harnesses and strapped into the course. We saw a bunch of little kids doing it so how hard could it be? Harder than it looks actually. Since they are much smaller, they can maneuver through the smaller spaces in the obstacles. You're also very high up and other mallgoers are watching. But once you get your bearings, it's pretty easy and not scary. It was actually a lot of fun, we spent about an hour going through the whole course. One star off though, cuz one guy was just a bit unpleasant. We were talking about how awesome it would be to take pictures on the course and he was just condescending instead of politely stating it's against the rules. What a great way to give your mind and body a challenge, especially in bad weather or if you just want to take a break from being a mall rat. There's no time limit and no set course--just wander up and down four stories of rope bridges and obstacles of varying challenges. It's harder than it looks and there's always the added challenge of not looking like a fool in front of the spectators. You would be hard pressed to race through it in less than 30 minutes and could easily spend more than an hour doing everything. Size and age don't seem to determine ability--I saw 5 or 6 year old kids zoom through single rope bridges while adults teetered. There didn't seem to be a minimum height or age requirement for kids but you have to be at least 48" to go on it without a chaperon. Everyone wears harnesses attached to overhead rails which are good for support as well as safety. For little ones there's a mini-rope course nearby with a max height of 48" that's more like a playground. I think it was $8.50. It's a one-of-a-kind indoor attraction and the fact that it's in a mall makes it even more unusual. read more

Let me start off by saying that this was harder than it looks!! I'm really happy we went especially since it was raining out. The mere fact that you are indoors, locked in this concrete jungle (haha), can make it frightening. If you've ever done a "regular"/outdoor zip lining excursion, and an outdoor obstacle course, I think in comparison, this was harder. In a nutshell, you pay $20, place your things in the free lockers provided, wait an hour or so in line (weekend), and then the fun begins! It was an "at-your-own-pace" type of activity. They suggested we start at the bottom, and work our way up. After a while, it becomes a little less scary, and more fun!!! If you plan on going for the zip lining, I would recommend going somewhere else; it's a quick two seconds. Overall it was a great activity for a rainy day! I would definitely go back!! read more

My 6 year old and I did the climb and we both had a great time! He is fit and adventurous, and told me in a blink of an eye the tyke's option was too babyish for him (and I agreed). We spent at least 90 minutes climbing and did most of the paths... a few were a little too difficult and we skipped. Of course, his favorite part was the zip line at the end, which he did about 12 times. (I did it about 5x myself!). Great time! read more

It can be a lot of fun if you're with the right company and even a little bit challenging depending on the course you're going through. This isn't an activity for the people-shy or those who have a fear of heights. Mall-goers will stare, point and even try to engage you in some light conversation as you're dangling several floors up. One very important piece to keep in mind is that you need to have closed-toe shoes (flats are permitted). We bought Groupon's for the ropes course. packed up the family and came out, and were told that we actually bought a Groupon for the under 48 inch rope course. The Groupon picture showed the full-size rope course, and nowhere in the description does it say anything about the 48 inch and under. They refuse to do anything about it saying it's not their fault. Dylan, I'm assuming the manager, just stared blankly at me. He was not rude, but certainly was not helpful. The wobbly ropes and everyone looking can surely make someone crap their pants but I've never seen anyone fall & swing from their harness....one can dream! Such a great idea to have this adventure! It is a test of courage, fitness, finesse and balance. We came here on MLK day with my lovely fiance. She wanted to try this obstacle course to prove that she can do it. I am not going to lie, It looks very very scary when you are looking from the outside of the course. It is in the middle of the mall and shoppers can watch you as you struggle across the ropes. It is thrilling to stand up there and view down and watch the little shoppers down there. First you have to buy the tickets located in the booth outside the course on the fourth floor. The guy there isnt the friendliest but then again he probably hates his job. It was in and out pay and get in line. I didn't let this man ruin my experience. We then went to the lockers that are located directly across form the booth. They are free lockers where you can leave all your belongings to go and climb. They guys working at the suits stations were very nice and friendly. They would make conversation and help you with your fears. They tell you that it is all safe . It was so much fun when we got into the climb. There were kids of all shapes and sizes . There were teens, and adults as well. Everyone was there to have fun and face their fears of heights. My fiance and I were scared at first, but it took us some time to warm up but we ended up completing the course. I recommend to start at the bottom and make your way up. read more

I do not recommend allowing your child to venture on the $22.99 above 48" course alone. I made the mistake of doing this and my daughter was shaking and scared to try a lot of the course herself.There is NOT ENOUGH staff on the course to help the younger children.To me this is a ploy for you-the parent to buy a wristband and accompany her/him on the course.I did buy a wristband and joined my daughter on the course because I see she was disappointed.I did help another 9 year old on the course who was also there alone. Came in on a Friday night and boy was that a mistake! Bought a voucher from Groupon! My son stayed in line for over an hour. Then a worker, strapped him and let him begin his climb. I took my kids here and they loved it. They do not allow you to take any belongings on the course but they supply free lockers. They allow parents to go on with cgildren under 48" free of charge. The harnesses are comdortable and definitely make you feel secure. When you reach the top you are allowed to zipline across which was a great experience. For $20, I really enjoyed a fun 2 hours of going through this suspended obstacle course....reminded me of a zip lining course I went through in Grand Cayman Island...minus the ocean. We got a free locker to put our belongings into, some of them didn't work...so double check and turn the knob to make sure your locker is locked before you walk away... Then we waited on the line until we were strapped in securely into our zip lining gear and off we went...they suggested for newbies to start at the bottom so we went down the stairs and started at the bottom...(PS go to the bathroom before you go on the course!!!) we moved pretty quickly through the course, we were a group of 5, but we got stuck behind a few zip liners who were scared of heights...so although it slowed us down a bit, with a little coaxing they were on their way or getting off...kudos for trying and facing their fears... The longest part was at the top waiting to get on the actual Zipline gliding section...because there are three platforms each leading towards the Zipline runway....and there is a Zipline staff who has to resecure each person before they go across...so imagine 3 platforms....5 people each...and he has to tell you to come across to him one at a time....and he has to be fair so he takes one person from each platform and then goes back around again...imagine if you have to go to the bathroom! It takes like 30 minutes on this part alone (on a Sunday, weekdays are probably faster) if my friends didn't have to go to the bathroom or weren't starving I guess we could have kept on going around and around, it was a fun work out!! Took four kids into the climb adventure. The harnesses and equipment are very solid but some of the climbing challenges are not for the faint of heart. Staff is very helpful and professional. Only problem is that it is not easy to remove a scared child from the course. And they ask you to empty your pockets of all items (cell phone etc), so if you need to get to your cell phone, you have to exit the course, you need to get to the exit, take off your harness etc. read more

Went this past Saturday night. Bought 4 tickets. The line was long but I was hoping to go through in a timely manner. At first it didn't seem as if it would take that long to complete this course. Waited over 45 mins and moved a grand total of 5 feet on the line. The staff, do nothing to try and move the lines a long. Once you go in, you can take as long as you want to complete the course. Once inside, a person could hang out there all day and there was no one paying attention to move them along. Had to get off the line because of dinner reservations we had at 6:30. Came back the line was no better. Decided this wasn't worth it. Went to the counter and asked for a refund and was told "We have a no refund policy." Meanwhile, NO WHERE at the attraction was this posted - which it should have been by law. I'll also add that I spoke to another person who purchased tickets changed their minds and DID RECEIVE a refund. SO obviously, this place is a scam only looking to take your money or they just who they want to give a refund to and who they don't. I would save your money and not give this place a dime. They take your money, give poor service and then tell you tough luck. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE!!!! And by the way - to the manager and owner here - take note, you are LEGALLY liable to post your return/refund polices in a visible place. NO WHERE at your attraction was any such notice posted. Such an amazing place. Leanne and Mike made it an amazing experience, but Lenny seemed to be a little too invasive.

The only reason I'm giving this 4 stars and not 5 is that there aren't more zip lines (only 1 at the top) and because that mall is weirdly hot. You will sweat your butt off on this thing. With that said, it was so much fun! I am scared of heights, so the employee's advice to start at the bottom and work your way up was great. It helps you get adjusted to the whole idea of being so high up, that by the time you get to the top, it's not a big deal. The employees weren't super personable, but they were competent at what they were doing. And really, that's the most important factor when someone is strapping you into a harness so you won't fall. It opens an hour later than anything at the mall, so keep that in mind if you're going there. There are free lockers nearby. I would be great if the directions weren't mostly faded off, so good luck figuring them out. It took me a few minutes to get it to work. Not a knock against the place, but against some parents...just because your child is tall enough to go alone, doesn't mean they should. My husband wound up helping several scared, small children maneuver through different sections. We were there for 2 hours and when there was no line for the zip line, went on it at least 10 times in a row. We would definitely go back if we were in the area. read more

My kids (8 and 11) are big fans. At $17 it's not cheap but it can occupy a lot of time engaging mind and body, which is not exactly easily done at the Palisades Mall. As in-building constructed ropes courses go, it's probably twice the size and complexity of anything I've ever seen. Pales in scope and range of difficulty to the ropes courses that are built into forests -- and none of the long zip-line runs that those courses usually have -- but still worthwhile.
