Great golf course. The greens are fast and the fairways are well taken care of. It's a bit pricey but maybe that was because of the weather. You get a free bucket of balls to hit before your tee time so win. I'd come back. read more

The grill is a gem. Years ago, I came here with a colleague in town for a drink and was amazed by the beautiful view of the sunset and mountains. Recent changes have blocked off the panoramic views but it is still a lovely spot. The food is delicious and reasonably priced. The staff are always friendly. read more

It's well kept and the marshal was really friendly and not pushy about pace of play. The issue I had is there is no cart girl and they don't give any waters. I mean it's 110 degrees and these courses are too cheap to give a cheap ass bottle of water. read more

The greens were in immaculate conditions! The fairways and tees also great. The bunkers could use a little more soft sand but definitely not the worst I have seen. The course layout itself is great. The price is a good deal. Even the restaurant food was good at a cheap price. It's worth the occasional drive from Vegas. read more

This course is a hidden gem! It's a beautiful, well maintained course that is difficult but enjoyable. Excellent staff and service from the pro shop to the restaurant and bar. It is very reasonably priced, and is as nice if not nicer than many top courses in San Diego. They handle big groups well. Practice facilities are great, including a separate large pitching and chipping area. If storing clubs overnight, the staff does an excellent job cleaning them and getting them ready for the next day. Can't recommend this place enough! read more

Nice Track, reasonable price, 4 great finishing holes. It's only 55 minute drive from strip. Can knock out a quick 18. Get gas first no gas stations on the way out. If this was closer to Vegas they could charge $100.00 plus. I definitely would play there a lot if it was closer to strip. read more

We just finished our first golf lesson with Randy. All my husband and I can say is "Wow". We have played golf off and on for years, but with the purchase of new clubs, we decided to tune up our game. Randy was able to immediately access our issues and had us on the road to a more confident and enjoyable game in no time. The entire experience was top notch. It's REALLY SAD when a business or community doesn't keep their business exterior (or interior) up to par! We frequent Mountain Falls Grill Room, and as of late, about 8 months or so ago, we noticed that upon entering the golf course from Manse, there are about 6-8 letters missing from the Words "Mountain Falls" on each side of it's signage. As I said, about 8 months ago...that should have been PLENTY of time to get the new letters up! I informed Mountain Falls about 2 months ago about the matter, and Mountain Falls STILL has not repaired those missing letters!! Then some friends came in from out-of-town and we were hesitant to take them to The Grill Room with such a dilapidated and embarrassing look from the entrance, but did anyway hoping they would not notice the awful entrance...but alas, they did! How horribly embarrassing for us! Mountain Falls, PLEASE, PLEASE fix your entrance signage!! We have a bunch of family coming this October and we will NOT be bringing them to your golf course if your signage isn't fixed!! It's a horrendous sight and extremely embarrassing for a GOLF COURSE to keep their signage dilapidated!! Where are your maintenance people?? read more

Wow...I have to say I was shocked by this course. I never expected such a beautiful course in Pahrump of all places. I read a bunch of reviews on Golfnow and other websites saying how great the course was, but I was still a bit skeptical. However, since the price to play there is really low, I decided to make the hour drive to Pahrump and check it out. Let me start by saying that the clubhouse staff is one of the friendliest I have ever encountered. They were just really nice and gave some quick information on the course before I headed over to their restaurant The Grill Room to have lunch before the round. The staff at the restaurant was just as friendly, the food was good, and the prices were very reasonable. Once I headed out to the first hole, I could see that the course was indeed in fantastic condition. This continued for the whole round. I'm not sure I have ever played on a course as well maintained as this one. Everything is just so green and vibrant...and the greens! Oh my god the greens. They were the best greens I have ever had the pleasure of putting on. They rolled perfectly and were just fantastic. I also really liked that there was water on many of the holes...particularly one of the par 4 holes that had several small waterfalls. I can't say enough good things about this course. Yes, it's out in the middle of nowhere...but the hour drive from Vegas is so worth it. The staff rocks, the course is beautiful and in fantastic condition, and I would not hesitate to go there again. Who would have thought that Pahrump was hiding a gem like this? read more

Got to Vegas on May 3 and read about Mountain Falls in the Where magazine. The course was in great shape although the greens could have been faster. Nice challenging layout with changes in elevations. Weather was in the 90's and wind at 35 mph. Could have been the reason for the longer grass on the greens. The staff was very friendly in both the clubhouse and grill. They paired me up with several locals who knew the course and that made the experience more enjoyable. It is a nice drive over the mountains to Pahrump. Give this course a try; you won't be disappointed. read more

We paid for $24 each and started at 2:00. The condition of tee box, fairway and green are really good. They are changing toilet and others of restroom so soon we can find new restrooms on the course. Primm valley lake course, Boulder creek golf and Mountain falls are hidden gems but MT. falls is the best. Just 40 miles from Rhodes Ranch and the way to go there are not busy. Driving is a bonus. read more

We went for a wedding! The food was so yummy, the DJ was great, dance floor was huge, the views were really pretty!

A short drive out of Las Vegas, the Mountain Falls golf Club is one of the hidden gems of Nevada. The course is always in great shape and provides an excellent challenge, without being overly difficult to play. There is water on half of the 18 holes. The great feature of Mountain Falls, other than the quality of the course is the price. In the high winter season it costs $55.00 to play, but most often you can get a tee time for $35.00. The price includes the cart. If you are brave enough to play in the heat of the summer the $35.00 greens fee (anytime) also includes a lunch in addition to the cart. We have been enjoying the Falls since it first opened and their club house was a trailer. It is vastly improved over the years and still remains a course not many people know about. I do not know why you would want to pay the high price of playing a course near the strip when you can take a relaxing drive, play an equally fine course and save $100 - $140 per round. Can you think of something in Las Vegas you could do with that money ??? A great course and ..... even greater cost. read more

This place was good 10 years a go now no. It has nice scenery but the food is lacking all the taste and variety you would ecpect from a nice country club. Better tasting food at other restaurants in town. Including McDonald's. Which I don't really like or visit very often. read more

Just played Mountain Falls and the course is in excellent shape. Greens are very receptive and have a great speed. Challenging layout, and uniquely, there are 2 greens to choose from on the 9th and 17th holes. Very good golf. The food in the clubhouse continues is very good, and the patio area is a great place to eat and enjoy the view. I will be back. read more

The course is extremely nice. The GM is really rude and not personable whatsoever. It's bad when I hear it from his own workers. I don't get how someone can be just rude when you are supposed to make sure everyone is enjoying them self at a golf course. Then he is just bitter toward anyone. On a whim I decided to take the trip up to Mountain Falls to experience this golf course. Looked like a beautiful place and the course was fairly challenging and the price was very fair at $26 after 3pm. My only gripe was that the course was not clearly marked (some holes had 2 greens) never seen that before so I thought that was weird. I got lost trying to find the 15th hole because you have to drive off road to get to it and the sign is hard to see. Seriously, this course had more sand and dust and less paved cart paths than any course I have ever played. My golf bag was filthy after the round. Really nice course in good shape, well worth the drive from Las Vegas. It is an oasis in the desert, very green and pristine. A few greens had some dead spots but it is 107 degrees so no demerits. The bar has great specials as well! read more

Great course in great shape. The front 9 and back 9 were designed by 2 different groups, and it makes the course more interesting because the 2 nines have different personalities. The front is a Nicklaus design, with fairly wide open fairways but well placed fairway bunkers on most holes. The greens are difficult, but not impossible to read, and they are in good shape. The back is designed by Cal Olson. It's tighter than the front, with fewer fairway bunkers and flatter greens. The back is also home to the two most difficult holes on the course, in my opinion. 12 has a narrow fairway, it's sloped at about 200 yards out, and the green is shallow and very hard to hit. The green is protected bu a large bunker and the part that isn't behind the bunker is behind very soft grass that will prevent your ball from rolling on. There is also a water hazard to the left that it is play. 14 is the other difficult hole on the back. It is a par 3 that has water to the left that is sometimes in play if you hit the green; ducks eat the grass on the side of the hill and there's not much to stop your ball if you hit the far left of the green, especially it if is hooking. And if you bail out to the right you are in a deep gully, looking at a really hard chip (I usually putt), and if you fly it a little too much the water is again in play. The funny thing is, overall the back may be easier than the front, especially if you can place your drives well. The greens are indisputably easier. read more

I am a local and eat at the mountain falls golf course quite a bit ... Always great food service is good must of the time but food is always worth it and unlike other places several things on the menu are to die for Breakfast,Lunch or Dinner you will be happy :O) read more

Played two rounds there this week. The front side was in pretty good shape, however they seem to have forgotten to put sand in most of the traps. Just a small covering, then nothing but clay. The backside was furry greens which were very bumpy. This was the worst I have ever seen the course. On fifteen we were backed up Four deep. There was a marshal on the hill watching but doing nothing. This is usually a great course, however the maintenance has slipped a fair amount over the last couple of years. read more
