Let me tell you about my coach Jerry. Jerry has by far been the most patient, knowledgeable, detail oriented, professional coach I've ever had. He goes above and beyond what I expect a coach to do and doesn't force you to become something you can't be. I've had times where work interfered with my schedule and he's adjusted his schedule to fit mine. The facility itself is well taken care of. The bays are clean, the faculty is amazing and friendly, there's fresh cold water onsite for you to use, the bathroom is clean and they even make sure that the bays stay working 100% during your practice sessions! If I ever come back to Vegas, I'm definitely coming back here. In total I've had maybe around 15 lessons here and my swing has never been better! They don't have to be a "Service Animal" or a "Support Animal". So, while you are eating your $42 dollar Filet, you can also get a side order of "Fresh scent of dog" at no extra charge. He's able to pinpoint issues quickly for those that are stuck at a plateau. His pricing is extremely fair and affordable. You cannot find a more qualified instructor (40+ years experience) with the affordability anywhere in LA or LV. If you're visiting and don't have clubs, he loans one for you to practice drills in your hotel room. That was awesome. I wouldn't have been able to do that with other coaches even in my own city. He recommended many different drills/workouts, and training aids that will help out my golfing. I'm a complete beginner and I feel confident that I'm getting the correct teachings/methods. In each of the four bays, video and launch monitors are provided to view your swing. Recently, Ryan promptly returned my 8 & 9 irons due to a factory defect for replacement. I initially did a private lesson with someone, whose name I can't remember, at Coronado Golf Course many years ago and I had a bit of a bad experience. I left feeling more frustrated than I was when I first started because I was unable to hit the ball, even once, after following the techniques that I was taught. I was instructed to keep my arms as close to my body as possible and in doing that, I was unable to swing through because NEWSFLASH! I have rather large breasts blocking that pathway... HELLO!!!! I kept trying to tell the guy but I don't think he could relate, LOL, and surprisingly told me to stay the course with the "keeping my arms close" nonsense. After my first lesson lesson, I became convinced that I would never be able to golf because I have boobs and gave up the sport entirely, chalking it up to be something that was not for me. Fast forward to now, I decided to give it another go. I met with Shane and he broke everything down in a very simplistic way and what d'ya know!? I was able to hit the ball right away. What a difference having a great instructor makes! I would highly recommend hiring Shane for a private lesson. He turned something that was frustrating and seemed impossible to learn, into a sport that I look forward to learning more about. He is a great teacher! I live in Southern California and drove all the way to Vegas just to get fit by Thomas here. I am a former athlete who has been golfing for about 2-3 years now. Going into this fitting, I was slightly worried I was not good enough to get fit for clubs yet. Despite this, I decided to get fit by Thomas anyway, seeing all the good reviews online. Boy, am I glad I decided to go through with it! Straight away, Thomas stopped me while I was getting warmed up and asked me a simple but important question "Are you going to improve your swing? Or is your current swing your swing and you're sticking with it?" I answered with still improving and explained that I have not received any instruction before. Thomas proceeded to analyse and give me a couple of drills to do during the fitting and work on after to address my issues. I was shocked at the immediate improvement in my shots, and I feel my fitting went so much better because of this advice! I am so happy he did this, as 3 weeks later I have just received my new clubs and have never been striking the ball better. The other part of this process that really stood out from the rest is the entire time I feel like Thomas was actively trying to save me money! There was absolutely no upcharging going on, and he thoroughly explained everything about all the different clubs and shafts, how there are shaft profiles at every price point, and basically everything I could hope to know. All my questions were answered completely. He has most, if not all, club manufacturers and will thoroughly explain everything you need to know about them. Another huge advantage of going to him vs other fitters. His opinion seemed uninfluenced, and he genuinely wanted me to get the best clubs for me in my budget. Rob was nice and clearly knew his stuff, but I didn't feel I got the chance to try the clubs I wanted to because of the rush. I was asked to choose 2 from TaylorMade, Ping, or Callaway GI irons based on looks, and then we would try the shafts. I asked about trying the Titleist but was told they wouldn't be a good fit for me. We went through a few shafts; it seems like some of the standard choices weren't available, so we ended up with upgraded shafts. I ended up with the fitting documents and was told I had to purchase the clubs before I left, or the fee wouldn't be credited. To be fair to Rob, that's a company decision, not his, but I already felt rushed, and then, all of a sudden, I had to make a decision immediately while someone else was booked in and waiting for Rob. In the end I paid for the fitting, walked away, and booked another fitting elsewhere. In hindsight, I should have just picked up a wedge. The clubs I was fitted into at Golftec were at the bottom of my options. The other place gave me 2 months to order clubs and get the fitting fee credited. I've now ordered a full bag, and for the irons, the data told me the T350's were my best option. So I went with Titleist in the end.
