We visited for an annual live band event. Ownership changed and been doing renovations only 2 weeks since our visit. They were really nice. Car camping, RV hook up camping, restrooms and hot showers available. We don't have much experience with hot springs except for a free public dirt one in Mammoth area, but we're looking forward to visiting with more time to enjoy it next time. Tecopa Hot Springs Campground at 760-852-4377 (Jeff, or ask for TJ) - Take credit card.    Do RV space with hookups too.    Includes bathrooms and showers available (1 Shower in campground side; certain showers/bathrooms area are closed during certain times). Inside pools are  hot spring water temperature (takes 5min to warm if you're the 1st person) showers all over and soaking by gender, and a private pool to rent $25/hr (and cleaned each time). Can not wear clothes due to natural spring (no dyes and such to endanger birds), shower then go into.    Saturday 11/8/2025 Car camping only $30 include showers and bathrooms times to when use; with soaking $45 (includes 2 soaking passes).    Located by the tecopa event (where the burger joint is, etc at Tecopa Hot Springs Resort). You'll need lights/headlamp to walk over to the event. When facing Tecopa Hot Springs Resort, left of was camping area for staff and such, the left of that is an elevated level for more camping, left of that is the office to check-in and get your parking pass from Tecopa Hot Springs Campground. 11/8/25 Tecopa Takeover talked to staff. 7am-8pm office bathrooms, and showers. And private, men, women hot springs. Restrooms have trash cans. Across the any time bathroom across the street, white small tent looking. Right of that is a different camping section area with bathroom and shower. - The women's section restroom and hot springs area is located left after walking through the office. - Hot Springs Tip: Good for skin but not good for hair. Not good for eyes. Put hair up. There's open star view one, and a semi-enclosed. Stores, things to do, etc other than hot springs and camping: 1 gas station store around 10-15min away, cafe and bar on the way in, 1 mini restaurant at Tecopa Hot Springs Resort area, date farm called China Date Farm, Spanish Trial and Mission Historic space, etc. read more

I enjoy the primitive natural hotsprings down the road a bit from the park. Seems as though they are a bit warmer. There is another small spring with free camping just up the old Spanish trail hwy. Water is maybe 100 degrees and has a slippery bottom. read more

Stopped by on the way home from Death Valley National Park. Amazing customer service and the waters felt so good. We did an hour for $25. I was there with my partner and we drove home so happy and relaxed. You do have to be nude to use the spring. The dyes in our clothing pollute the water and wild life in the area. My boo was very happy about that and you have complete privacy. Definitely would stop by again if in the area. read more

Great new owners. Gave us a tour of the entire facility. Showed us all of the improvements they have already made. The property is wonderful, quiet, hot spring stream runs through property. Some nice rustice pine camp spots. Lots of RV spots. Close to the dunes. Water was clean. Mens and womens and community facilities. Another welcome business to the community. The new owners have BIG plans. Give them some time here and this is really going to be the place to stay in Inyo county. Congrats!!! read more

Wi-Spa of Tecopa. I say that because at Tecopa Hot Springs Pools, no bathing suits are allowed in the spa, the spas are gender-divided, and I was the only non-Korean-speaking lady in the spa during my visit. Being from LA, I felt right at home. Entrance fee is $10 for an all day pass, which is hard to beat. There are two different pools on the ladies side, one hot and one warm. No lockers, so leave your valuables in the car. Showering is required befoe entering the pools. The mineral hot springs are divine, the water is restorative and relaxing. So if you're comfortable soaking in your birthday suit in a 100% non-judgmental atmosphere, highly recommended. read more

Unfortunately their website does not say it, but right at the front desk where you pay it says "NUDE BATHING ONLY" with underlines and bold. Swimsuits not allowed! There's a separate men's side and women's side. The locals are pretty nasty if you try and wear a swimsuit. You get yelled at. So I don't recommend this place if you are a swimsuit-in-public kind of person Go down the street and around the corner to Delight's instead! You'll get the same water there! read more

Tecopa springs is an amazing place to experience. Its not that far from Pahrump, NV. Tecopa is a very, very small town with camping , a few springs to go to as well as a couple of restaurants. Not a glamorous town nothing fancy. A town where everyone knows each other so they know when you are from out of town. We stopped at another springs down the road and stopped this one. The guy was friendly and explained they had private pools, where the other down the road was open and anyone can go and they share the pool. These are fresh fed from the ground and they have the water pumping in and back out. They want you to go in naked, no clothes in the water because it can harm the eco system. I heard the water is very healing and there has been many stars that have come to use these. So me and my husband decided to try. They do set a time limit so you take a break and have to leave so someone else can use. But they have a few pools so you can use another if you want. Its not expensive at all. There is a door you go in and lock and showers for before and after. You do need your own towels. So the water is very hot, just like you are using a Jacuzzi. We have told many people who are famous have come here and we have brought friend's as well. You can look up on line about Tecopa Springs about the water the health benefits are awesome to read. If you stay in the cabins they include the springs. Next time in Vegas take a ride and try these or ask for a tour. read more

I'll start off by mentioning that these pictures on Yelp are not current. They have done a full refresh on the springs, and it looks substantially better. I've never been to a hot spring before, but the experience was really great! There's a campsite across the street, you're able to tent camp or bring your RV. The site rates are inexpensive, they can be booked nightly, weekly, or monthly. They do offer electrical hookups at some sites for only $2 more a night. They do have bathrooms at camp along with a sink to do dishes. Please keep in mind that there's absolutely no drinking water. Also keep in mind that there's very limited cellphone reception in town. Okay, let's get on to the actual hot springs. When you book your site it comes with unlimited admission. If your party has more than two people, you just add them to the bill. The pools are open from 7am-10pm and they divided by gender. There's bathrooms and showers available to use. If you're camping, these are the showers you'll be using as well. There's two pools on each side, one the pools is warmer than the other. The pools are large and extremely clean. There's a seating areas inside the pools along with seating areas outside the pools. It is very warm water, so you want to make sure you take breaks and stay hydrated. The water is continuously flowing which makes the water clear and clean. There's no Sulfur scent, or strange smells that surface from the water. Your skin and body feels so much better after you've been soaking for a while. I really recommend coming here! It's a really cool experience and town. I would definitely visit this place again. read more

Absolutely Beautiful place to go however it is not a safe place to stay if you are traveling alone. I was verbally threatened by one of the employees that works there. When I spoke with management it felt like because He was a family friend it didn't matter that I didn't feel safe. Outside of this incident I had a wonderful stay. This place was undergoing extensive renovations when I arrived on August 5, 2018. When I first got here, I couldn't find anyone but eventually a friendly owner of a rock shop on the property took me to see the owners, both of whom were really nice. This place was rather rustic; however, has a lot of potential. The water was rich in minerals and hot like it should be but because the temperatures were over 100 degrees during the day, I only soaked once in the afternoon and then again in the evening -both were pleasant experiences in solitude. There was a family of campers but that was it. The only challenge were the big horseflies! The females were hungry for blood but interestingly enough, they left me alone and so that wasn't too bad. I recommend you give this place a try and see for yourself how it feels. Soon they will be upgrading RV spots to include hookups, etc. The place is really big but desolate at this time. False advertising. The reason I chose this campground is because it said it had free Wi-F. I needed to answer some emails for work and get on a work call. We asked for the Wi-Fi password and was told there was no Wi-Fi even to buy because "people abused" the Wi-FI. I said that it was advertised that they had it and I was told too bad so I had to get up at 5am to drive to a place to find Wi-Fi early enough to email and call EST time zone. So frustrating when it was advertised as having Wi-Fi and free Wi-Fi. read more

So disappointed with my visit. I've been coming here for about 15 years and it seems to be receiving less and less cleaning and care. We called ahead to reserve the private pool and when we got there the attendant had not asked the previous people to vacate the pool. We waited for them to leave and then the attendant went in and hosed something down. He didn't even clean the old water out from the previous people. We ended up pulling the plug ourselves and putting new water in. Also, we have paid $20 for the private pool for as long as I can remember (unless we were camping there, then it was only $10). The guy tried to charge us $40 for the pool and then kept changing the amount saying $8 for each additional person. After we told him we have been coming here for years and always paid $20, he ended up just charging the $20. I don't think we will be going back there again. read more

I've been coming to the Tecopa Hot Springs and campground for 3+ years. What a change for the better this year. Improved restroom facilities, cleaner pools and changing areas and I can't forget the new Tecopa Trading Post camp store. Now the hot spring pools are open 24/7 which is great because in the past, after flying across the country and then driving in from Vegas I would often arrive to find it closed under the previous management. Everyone was helpful and friendly. I have made the decision to sell my house and move my family to this area. read more

Ok. So it doesn't look like much, and it's out in the middle of pretty much nowhere, which is all true. But let me tell you, this place is awesome!! We got there at night, pretty late, and were still able to get a camp spot and go in the mineral baths BECAUSE THEY ARE OPEN 24 HOURS, yes really, I even asked as I was leaving the bath house if I could come back at 3am and the guy said yes, anytime I want while we were camping there! I didn't, but it was enough for me to know that I could have. The men and women are separated because it's full nude, which is strictly enforced btw and the best part was, for me anyway, was one of the 2 baths was open to the sky so you could soak while you looked up at the stars. Naked, hot natural springs, stars, camping, and only 22 bucks for the night...need I say more?!!!! read more

We love this place. I use to come here about 10 years ago and I quit due to lack of attention the previous owners had it. We came out about 4 weeks ago and to my surprise it was taking a turn for the good Ryan,Lara and Jim and towns people seem to be fixing it up. $7 to get in all day, there really is a lot of things to do there other then sit in the pools. The wifi restaurant I think it's the internet restaurant has a pizza that will knock your socks off with their homemade sauce. This is our kinda new place to come and find our inner selfs, a labarath ( probably miss spelled) a meditation maze, the date farm and more. This is one difficult place to track down and there's a good reason. The locals don't want their secret to get out. One of my ex roomies and I stopped here on the way to Vegas as a hidden out of the way spot. Being from Southern California, I love weekend road trips to Las Vegas. Last summer, my friend and I discovered Tecopa Hot Springs and have made it a part of all our Vegas trips. It is well worth the diversion off highway 15, which on weekends can be crowded anyway. The roads to and from Tecopa are largely deserted, but will take you past sand dune recreation areas. The Tecopa Hot Springs facilities are simple and unassuming. They are divided, so there are separate facilities for men and women. There is, apparently, a private bath that can be reserved. The first time we visited, the attendant made sure we knew that the private bath is cleaned after every use. As for the 'public' baths, no clothing is allowed. There are two large tubs (pools), one designated as hot and one cooler. We found it nice to alternate between the two tubs. It is a very relaxing experience. While most people sit quietly, we have found that the clientele and the employees are very friendly. While we have not tried the campgrounds, use of the hot tubs is included in the camping fee. So give this place a try, it is well worth the diversion. read more

For a campground, this place was just fine. I can see where it would be too hot in the summer, but it would be fine for the other 3 seasons. And there's the plus that you get hot springs too. Came in mid-march with my dog and stayed in a cabin, the cost of which included 24-hour access to the springs. There are around 5 individual pool rooms with showers in each one, and one room (4?) has an open ceiling so you can see the stars while you soak. Free, undeveloped hot springs are just down the road if you're up for a somewhat murkier soak. Had a magical time, will definitely be back! read more

Amazing water (rich in minerals), super friendly people, open 24/7, great price, views for days and nice camping sites (with electric hook up), WIFI, tons of motorcycle and off-roading opportunities in and around Death Valley & Dumont Dunes (20 mins away), really cool and tasty dining only steps away from the campground, great temperatures and many other things make this a very worthwhile place to check out! This place is a bit beaten up, but I have no problem with that -- it suites the area. Very nice staff. My only issue is that other guests are in rooms with doors into the hot tub rooms, and throw a fit if you talk in a normal voice after 9pm. That was my experience anyway. read more

This was the greatest family adventure ever! We jumped up at the spur of the moment to take a family trip just to hunt for rare spiders over the Labor Day weekend. Since they offered tent rental for $10 and $16 for camping space it was a steal. With two curious teenage boys in tow we went to visit the desert. I thought it would be a boring trip for them but the presence of four wheelers, mountain bikes, open space and adults who really took interest in them made it the best trip ever. We were on the hunt for spiders and tarantulas but now we are addicted to the pools, the scenery and the people. The local people were amazing and friendly. Having teenagers it's important that you take them places where there aren't old foggies looking at them weird or just being too old to have a good time. This place was fresh, open, happy. The healing pools have an immediate effect on your body and lift your spirits. I came home searching through the classifieds trying to figure out how to move to the desert. My teenagers 17-18 even thanked me for taking them on the trip. It was definitely not what we expected. From Compton, CA it was a tank and a half trip in our little jeep. We made a campfire and cooked underneath the moonlight. You can rent anything you need to have a good time. We just planned spur of the moment and weren't fully ready for the experience. It was the best experience. I want to go and spend a week, there's a date farm, a mudbath and so many other activities to take advantage of. My skin feels so soft and smooth. I swear I want to just pick up my family get rid of our excess belongings and move to the desert... Which I never thought in my wildest dreams I would want! EVER There is wifi for purchase and free wifi at a library close by. But why? So far I've spent my whole morning at work looking up the history and looking for a job! I'm even thinking of canceling a planned reunion trip just to go back to the wells. I don't want to be in the city anymore! I enjoy many trips here during the winter months. Tecopa it's self is a magical place to me. The waters of these area hot springs really make one feel rejuvenated. Some maybe discouraged having to be nude in a same gender pool ( Male & Female pools ) I have never had a uncomfortable experience here. Most of the time I will rent the private bath for an hour at $25. If you don't agree with their policies then try one of the many natural springs or the resort. If you venture to one of the natural springs watch out for the mud mites, they bite. read more

Wildly swaggy place to camp. Desert conditons, bring tie downs in case there is wind, bring flashlights, and a green laser to point out stars. As the newest campers on the Sandy block you can come and go in the hot tubs as you please alll night. If you prefer a natural mud scene then drive down the street 1/2 mile, and there's more hot springs! Just be careful not to run over any lizards or snakes on the road. Srsly. So I called them and spoke to Mike on 9/26/20. He was super friendly over the phone and gave me pricing and took my reservation for private couples hot spring room for 9/27/20. My friend and I had been there several times before, but never met or encountered Mike. When we met Mike in person he was awful. Extremely forceful about wearing masks even though we both had a medical condition and waivers. Dismissed our medical conditions and Even tried to force us to wear masks while we were at least 10 feet away from his office by saying that The masks work better when they're on. I told him I was nowhere near him or inside his building yet so I did not need to wear one. I actually came with a face shield and he said it was unacceptable. And then he argued with me about the pricing that he did tell me over the phone that the private room was $30. In my recollection all I recall was that he said it's $9 per person. He said the prices went up because they have to use a lot more chemicals to clean the Hot Springs. But to be honest since my friend and I had been there several times before the facility now seemed delapated and dirty. And the price wasn't a concern ....it's that he was condescending and adamant that he told me pricing of private room over the phone and then when I told him that I remembered speaking to him about directions he condescendingly said see you did talk to me I did tell you the pricing. He was just a jerk. My other friends met up with us at the Date farm and ended up going to Delights hot springs instead . None of us will ever go to this facility again. Pleasantness is part of Customer Service that goes a long way especially when Covid has impacted a lot of businesses and they need more clients. read more

We found this campsite online when we were on our way to Death Valley and it was getting too late (and dark) to try to find a campsite in the national park. We arrived very late and the campsite was quite empty. There were many sites we could choose from. Although this campsite does not have any privacy, it was still great as the closest people camping near us were 5-6 sites away at least. We had a campfire and were happy to find a place to camp so late at night. We did not utilize the pools because we were in a hurry to explore Death Valley. Like other reviewers, had been coming here for years but the facilities downgraded for a few years. Fortunately under new management now and feels very much like what it was back in the early 90's -- friendly, welcoming, staff and easy access to the mineral springs. You can tell they're doing something right, the campground which had become fairly deserted in recent years, is beginning to come back to life!
