Beautiful park with the FRIENDLIEST team. Late December overnight stay. There are many extended stay people here - and it's neatly maintained. Ok - Immaculately maintained. Hot tub was going - it looked very inviting but the 20° when you got out had me at a NO. The park is definitely set up for short and extended stays. The team will also pick up, fill and return propane. Oh and streaming works for TV!! There are many extended stay sites with large parking pads. Close to services/stores and easy freeway access. If we take the same route headed south next year we will be back. read more

This is the nicest RV park I have ever had the pleasure of experiencing!! Clean, friendly, comfortable, safe and just relaxing! We loved our visit and will highly recommend this place to our fellow travelers. It has a pool and a hot tub for the much needed relaxation of a day on the road. Staff is helpful and lovely. Free coffee in the morning is great They have adult swim 8-10 pm. Sites are a good size and the table are a design that you don't have to climb over the bench. Lots of trees and shaded in the older section. Unsure of the newly added section. Pool is smaller but nice. Hot tub is good size. They have pickel ball, Horseshoe pits and a Playground. Park is close to places to eat in all price ranges. Also close to Bruneau Dunes State Park which is a night sky park. Showers and laundry rooms are clean. They have a large rooms where preople can watch tv or play cards and have a "library" to take books. There is a grill that guests can use. In addition you can have mail sent to you here. We absolutely love this Rv Resort, They have Huge Rv Spots some are 85 ft long so you dont have to unhook your tow vehicle or trailer and your not out on the road. The spots are paved and have a little grass area for each spot. They also have little picnic tables set up for your use. It's very clean well maintained. They also have two off leash Dog parks one is gravel and the other has grass they are well kept up. Restrooms and showers are available if needed. Staff is super friendly and escort you to your site. We have stayed here 3 times now and will definitely come back! read more

We always look forward to our stay at Mountain Home RV Park. This is the first time we have been here so early in the year. The grounds are beautiful! We are here on a nice 75 degree fall day! The pull through spot we were put in number 57 is very large and flat! We have our 40 foot coach and Jeep with plenty of extra room. It is all nicely concreted and a little patch of grass on both sides. They all provide a picnic table. The restroom shower combos are awesome! Great place to walk! Very small pool but cute with hot tub! If you stay also try out pizza place down the road. We also liked that they had propane here. Fill up on your way out! read more

We've been traveling the states. We've stayed at around 70 parks. This one is in our top 10. We will be back. The staff are absolutely awesome. My son is disabled and they wrapped their wings around him showing him a good time, absolute Angels, thank you Shelley. We were escorted to our site, and even told the water pressure. The park is super clean. Sites are paved, grass area, and picnic table. Awesome street lamp. Good WiFi with extenders. We felt like we were in one of the most awesome neighborhoods ever. Really nice place! We were just passing through overnight but will definitely be back for longer next time. The sites are really easy to access, long pull throughs - very big rig friendly. The park is kept immaculate and the amenities are clean and a lot nicer than what I've seen out here on the road. The staff is friendly and helpful. They also give you a really nice welcome packet with maps and other info that comes in handy. This was a short but memorable stay. read more

Great little Military Campground. Sites are clean and level with full hookups. Self registration is simple. They also have tent sites in front along with day use picnic areas. There is one building which houses laundry and both the men's and women's bathrooms and showers. Campfires are not allowed at this point. Most recent stay was 6/14/16 - I'm "late" in posting my review ~ We camp in a Little Rig "Tear Drop" style RV only 15' long w/o toilet or shower ~ plus we like to eat outdoors using the picnic table and set up our dining canopy for sun and weather protection and thus rely on condition of campgrounds facilities and being nearby our site ~ so our critique is focused in that area. We are return guests ~ several times; it's one of the nicest rv parks on all of I-84 - but it's not a campground believe they do not allow tents. Their restroom/shower/laundry facilities deserve a 5 star, very clean, very modern, and laid out in roomy 9x10 individual & private "home bathroom" style rooms each with a sink, toilet, shower stall, bench, shelf for your stuff, hooks for your clothes and towel, + a bonus towel bath mat for your feet as you exit the shower. Cooled by AC in summer months and heated during cooler months. Rest of facilities also a 5 star paved interior roads, paved (level) site pads all pull through w/extension patio, picnic table, young shade trees, large lush grassy green-space between other sites, w/privacy fence between, full hookups w/cable and in-ground irrigation sprinklers, and of course a sparkling clean swimming pool All this for extremely reasonable price w/Good Sam Discount - believe me you'd pay much more for much less at other parks. read more

We enjoyed our one night at Mountain Home RV Park. The whole park was very clean! We used the nice size pool and hot tub. They even had a fenced grassy area for our dog. The laundry room was very convenient and clean. When my husband had some trouble backing into his spot, two of the workers helped him. The landscaping was very nice too. I'm admittedly a newbie at this but this is the nicest park by far that we've used. Acres of green grass between pull-ins. Shade trees everywhere. And they took good care of us. They closed at 7 but someone stayed late to escort us on our late arrival. And maybe that Half Moon Bay state park with the chicken bones in the shower was an aberration, but these showers were way nicer than my own house. read more

Our arrival date for our week's stay had to be repeatedly adjusted due to a mechanical issue with our 2019 truck. We so appreciated how this park worked with us as we awaited the truck's diagnosis & repair. Upon arrival I was quite impressed. Ours was a back in on the perimeter of what is the more established part of the resort, which could not have suited us better! This place is huge, with a variety of different types of sites. If you are as selective about your site type as we, investigate. Our area had lots of beautiful, mature trees, but probably would not be a problem even for fixed satellite tv reception. I only used their basic internet (I understood upgrades to be available) and it was fine for emails, etc. If you are approaching from the freeway, be advised that the first driveway (left off American Legion Blvd.) is the exit. The entrance is the second driveway. There's signage, but I watched a number of rigs enter thru the exit. read more

We got in after hours, the manager met us at the front entrance and escorted us to our site like we were his first customers ever instead of late evening. He helped line us up in the slip and wished us well. The bathrooms were spotless even late at night and they included cloth shower mats. We settled our bill on the morning without a hitch and got the Good Sam discount without having to show our ID. The park is expanding with more slips and a pool being added. The hookups were well placed, the spaces were easy to access and there was lots of space between sites. Everywhere within 100 miles was 300 degrees but the tree lined park and plenty of grass was a welcome relief. There is a nice playground for the kids, a great laundry, free private bathrooms with showers and a meeting room. The managers looked sad to see us go. The only downside was poor on site wifi service. read more

Spent a night here in early October. Very nice rv park. Sites are paved and level with a nice grassy area and picnic table. Great cable and wifi service. Bathrooms and showers are spotless. Staff very friendly. Nice pool and hot tub. And a very nice off leash dog run. The park fills up fast so you may want to call ahead of time. One thing to note if you have dogs is there is an undeveloped area where it looks like they are expanding the park. This area has a dirt road around it. Looked like a good area to walk the dog. But it is full of cactus thorns and our pup got many stuck in his feet. Also stuck in our shoes and were tracked into the rv. Not the parks fault but just be careful if you go in this area. We would definitely stay here again. read more

A staff member named Troy escorted us to site #32 after we arrived. Now that is great service! Our concrete pad site was 90 feet long. Wow! It was also very level and we loved it. And the tree shade was wonderful. This RV park is absolutely enormous. It's easy to get lost so driving guests to their sites is probably a good idea. Best private bathrooms that we have seen in over 2 years of full time RVing. Immaculately clean with large showers and clean towels were even provided. What? It was like staying in a hotel. Double wow! Free wifi worked great at the site and it was blazing fast. The 25 free crystal-clear digital cable channels were awesome. Onsite pool and hottub were above average. Pool has saltwater instead of chlorine so that was different. Horseshoe pits are also available. Very close to Walmart, Albertsons and many other shopping options. We've stayed in over 100 RV parks during our travels and this one is definitely in our top 5. Highly recommended!!! read more

We stayed for one night and were impressed. We broke down 40 miles away and required a new axle for our fifth wheel. We called the CG and explained the situation and it could take a couple of weeks for the axle to arrive and asked if we could stay and have the repair done on site which they do not usually allow and they agreed. We spent over 10 days there. The park is maybe the best we've stayed at, impeccably clean, and great, friendly, helpful staff. Outstanding! We stayed in August, 2015 in our fifth wheel. This is a late post as I was surprised to see I had not reviewed it on Yelp. read more
