First, the owner decided to sell the house which is fine but I was notified with a realtor calling me and asking to schedule a tour. Nobody told me anything else before. Then when we moved out, they said they didn't have the document stating all of the damages when we moved in. During the whole move out process they were horrible at communication. They would randomly mention things I needed to do when i called them. They didn't call me to notify me, I had to call them. Lastly, I received an email with my security deposit refund however, they told me that I needed to work with the homeowner since they no longer hold the funds. So now I get to try to contact the owners which I have never spoke with and get my money back. Really unprofessional and I would stay away from this company at all possible.

I have never had to threaten a withhold of rent, but after 90 days of total non response in regards to an internet issue, I finally told them I would not pay rent until I had a response to the issue. I didn't even need a resolution, I just wanted to know someone was seeing my emails. They called me within 6 hours to tell me how inappropriate it was to resort to withholding rent, and then finally addressed the issue. After multiple issues with Kiri being rude and incompetent, they promised a new person would assist me in the future. That never happened and I have had to continue to harp in order to get Landmark to do ANYTHING as menial as responding to an email. If I could include images, I would attach the email conversations that show just how little Kiri cares about helping her company's tenants.

After his passing, my sister and I spent several weeks cleaning out his apartment. During that time, management was consistently unavailable, despite posted office hours. Calls were never answered or returned, and multiple visits to the office revealed other tenants also struggling to reach them regarding various issues. The level of disorganization was astonishing. Additionally, we discovered that my father was being charged for a garage he never had. When we were finally able to reach a manager, they insisted that he had a designated garage. However, when we went to check, we found another tenant using the space for his vehicle as it was HIS garage, not my dad's. Management then claimed there was no way to determine which garage was assigned to him without a garage door opener. After weeks of searching for the opener, we attempted to contact them again but received no response. When we finally located management at a different office, they informed us that any belongings that may have been in the garage were considered "abandoned" and would have been tossed out. During this time, management also changed the locks on my father's unit without conducting a final walkthrough, leaving us unable to access the apartment due to their ongoing lack of communication. This is just a BRIEF account of mine and my sister's experience, and it was nothing short of horrendous. Even at the corporate level. I would NEVER put anyone I love and cherish in a place owned or operated by a PEAK LIVING employee or employer.
