Unprofessional business at times. Only concerned about greed, not the customer, in my opinion. Many issues aren't always solved.

This is a company that specializes in duplicitous business practices, setting their customers up for multiple service calls by simply diagnosing larger problems one fix at a time. One would expect a service call to entail troubleshooting and diagnosis, often followed by a need to order a part and then return for installation and resolution of the issue. However, this firm simply installs the first broken part, waits for you to call again and then advises you that even though is the same appliance that they just worked on, the cycle starts all over with a brand new, completely billable service call. It's hard to find a trustworthy, reliable and honest company to work with. Be assured that Heber Appliance is the opposite of every one of those characteristics. Avoid them as you would the plague. read more

Had a disposal stop working so I called Park City/Heber appliance. VERY friendly girl answered the phone and helped me. I ordered a new disposal however when the repairman/installer named Vince arrived, he took the time to check the current disposal and was able to fix it. He told me what the problem was and told e how to try to fix the disposal should the disposal have an issue in the future- GREAT GUY!!! I would highly recommend using Heber/Park City Appliance. I have used them for over 20 years and will continue to make them my first call! read more

If you are thinking about doing business with this store, RUN,DON'T WALK AWAY. We bought all our appliances for a new home from them and totally regret this decision. It's been FIFTEEN MONTHS since our oven was installed. It has a scratched front panel that has still not been replaced. A few months go the oven blew up. It is a double oven and one of the ovens hasn't worked properly for months. A tech came out and "repaired" a thermostat. It worked twice and went out again. For weeks, we've been trying to get a replacement thermostat. To make matters worse, they billed me for a service call for an appliance that is under warranty! The co-owner, Derick, is worse than worthless. He won't return phone calls and doesn't seem to care about taking care of customers. After trying for months to get satisfaction, I'm going to update their efforts (or lack of them) weekly. Hoping this review will encourage Dereck to pay some attention to our issues. read more

I have had a house in PC since 2004 and we have used Heber Appliance through our house manager for 18 years for all our repairs.  We recently had our downdraft fan stop working on the stove.  Their team came out once and said it wasn't a simple switch issue and the parts didn't exist so it needed to be replaced.  Then they stood me up for the appointment we made to come measure the fan to quote for a new one.  I had planned my day around them coming.  I had to pay my house manager to meet them the next day since they stood me up.  Then they sent me a quote for $4,200 for a new fan.  I got a second opinion (Kimball Electronics out of SLC).  They came once, told me it was a simple broken switch, had a switch on the truck and fixed it for $212.00.   I don't know if it was incompetence or a scam to get me to buy a new fan but needless to say they would have had me pay 4k more than needed.  Not to mention the service call payments we made for inaccurate, at a minimum or fraudulent at worse, advice   I don't know if it was incompetence or a scam to get me to buy new fan but needless to say your team would have had me pay 4k more than needed.  Not to mention the service call payments we made to you for inaccurate, at a minimum or fraudulent at worse, advice. read more

I would give them 10 stars if i could!!! I will make it easy for you - if you are debating, don't and use them for whatever you are thinking!! We have been loyal to Heber Appliance since we moved here 7 years ago with both purchases and service. They are the only ones we trust to service all of our appliances. Recently we had a dryer go out and our home warranty was prepared to replace it, however, we preferred to give the business to Heber Appliance so we requested a cash out. I called on Monday, but they were closed for Pioneer Day. We could have ordered one that day from Best Buy and have it in 2 days but we wanted to give Heber Appliance a shot so we waited a day. I spoke to Andy the next day and he said while they had 2 in stock, they were both spoken for and he would see what he could do. He called me back shortly and said he could get one for me and have it installed in a matter of days. He then texted me the following day and said he could get it installed that day!! Andy himself showed up with the Owner Derrick with the dryer right on time and did an AMAZING job of fitting it in a tight spot on our 2nd floor! This type of service and care doesn't exist anymore - truly small town service and care and one of the many reasons we love it here and why we will only use Heber Appliance! Yeah parts take longer to get and sometimes it's not the first part replaced that fixes everything , but others that need replacing as well. Keeping that in mind they work as fast as possible. It took three visits to fix our dryer. It is working and we are happy . Our tech Mike was very accommodating to our schedules and a good guy to work with. read more

This is the last time getting burned by Heber Appliance! I called these guys if the could do an emergency repair on a range the was blowing a curcuit breaker. They said they could be here that day. At the end of day they called to say they couldnt make it and wouldnt be able to make it for the next 5 days. Just great as i had guests arriving! Had they told me right off the bat they couldnt make it, i would have had time to find an alternative appliance repair! read more

We have had some issues with our brand new Thermador appliances. Chris came out to "repair" our coffee machine. It was having drainage problems, and it was clear he was just giving a best effort to fix it. He cleaned a part, and decided that was okay. The next morning the unit wouldn't heat, and the screen went out. When I called less than 24 hours later, I was told I'd have to wait 2 weeks to have him come back to assess what parts were needed. Totally unacceptable that I would be left in a worse situation, and they were so rude about it. When I finally got to speak with Chris (who spends more time talking than working) he denied that any of the servicing he did would have effected the $3500 appliance. The very next time it was used, it didn't work. He is so pretentious and went on about how he has to school the Miele team on how to repair their own machines. He told me that he could send me his schedule and I could personally call people to reschedule for him so he could come to look at our machine (that he screwed up.) What kind of unprofessional person talks to customers like this? When I told him that waiting 2 weeks for him to come over and see what the issue he caused what is completely ridiculous, and that as a service tech he needed to accept responsibility for the faulty repair that left me worse than I started, he HUNG UP on me. This is a junk local business, and the other reviews that talk about them being rude are legitimate. read more

No way!!! They will nickel and dime you to death. It's cheaper to replace the appliance then to let them work on it.

DO NOT USE THIS PLACE. The service is beyond bad and it takes WEEKS to get them out to check your appliances and then WEEKS to get the part needed. Customer service is not a priority to them read more

While friends were staying in our home the dishwasher had a problem. We called Heber Appliance to check. The tech said there was an electrical part out and a moving part out, "not worth fixing, we got these on sale btw." When I returned the dishwasher had not been put back together, and was dirty. I cleaned it up, dried the electrical part, turned on the power and replaced the moving part for $60. All good, works great. Tech apparently did nothing or lied. read more

I won't be using them again, Park City prices. Was told $ 500 to repair a washing machine that we had already put $ 345 into with them. A new machine would cost that much!. Bought the parts on line for $ 34 and fixed it myself. I'm not impressed. read more

I've been pricing a set of new appliances at various places online for a kitchen remodel. Heber Appliance has a required "request a price quote" feature on their website for the items I was shopping rather than, you know, actually just showing you their price like everyone else does. I sent in the "price quote requests" for the 4 appliances I wanted to order and left both my cell number and email address. I never received a single response. I emailed them again under the "contact us" option and didn't hear back from that either. Proper turn-around time for business inquiries should be no more than 48 hrs/2 business days and it shouldn't require the customer to follow-up. A store that makes it challenging to see a price and doesn't even bother to respond to a potential customer looking to make a large purchase doesn't get my business. I ordered the appliances elsewhere with an easy-to-see, upfront pricing policy. read more

We have a 6 month old GE microwave that started running the fan constantly; the only way to stop it was to unplug it, which is annoying because its a built in so we have to climb up on the shelf to unplug it from a cabinet. (Side note, do NOT ever buy GE appliances. We've also had trouble with our new dishwasher and while its not the cafe line, it certainly isn't the cheapest). Some of it may not be Heber Park City Appliances fault entirely, but we are now going on 2 months of the microwave not working!! They came once, "diagnosed" it and brought a part 2 weeks later. The part didn't work, they ordered another part..another 2 weeks. Surprise, that still didn't work. A week later they call and say they are going to take the microwave with them because it needs to be completely rewired. Mind you this is still under warranty, why GE would not just send a new one is beyond me, especially for what they've spent in labor. I feel Heber/PC appliance could have pushed harder for this. It was another week and a half and I still hadn't heard anything. I called, they said they still didn't have the parts in. I asked if they could bring by a loaner because this was a bit insane to be 6 weeks without a microwave. The 'loaner' was a dirty old used Subway microwave that is hideously sitting on our counter. Don't get me wrong, I'm glad to have something, but they couldn't have cleaned it or perhaps brought something a little smaller? Here we are, 8 weeks in 2 days, haven't heard from them, and still don't have it back. This is a horrible experience both on GE's part, and Heber Park City appliance. Do yourself a favor and don't buy GE in the first place, and if possible, avoid this repair company. read more
