    So sad to leave
    Robert A.

This was our first trip to MSLR and we loved it the staff was so very nice and the Rader family (Bill) went above and beyond to correct a booking issue we had. Stayed in Lakeview 26 cottage and it was absolutely perfect for our needs it has a great view of the lake and mountain this is now going to be our new vacation spot we spent many years at different Pocono vacation areas and finally found the one we love and it just feels so comfortable. Looking forward to our next trip there. Robert A.

Our first visit and we stayed in cabin 24, with the lake view. Although the cabin was clean and the grounds are gorgeous with beautiful views, we were not very impressed. We paid over $1,100 for a 3 night stay and definitely do not feel like we stayed in a place worth that kind of money. Every single thing was basic. The bedrooms were so tiny with small double beds. The beds were the most uncomfortable thing I have ever slept on. The AC worked well, in the living room only. So there was jo air conditioning reaching either bedroom because the AC blew the air at the opposite wall of the bedrooms. The ceiling fan couldn't be turned on high or else it made a loud annoying noise that would keep you awake. There was 1 tiny TV in the living room and that is all. None in the bedrooms. The front door also opens the wrong way, causing it to push through the 1st bedroom door and blocking the way. Just ridiculous. The bathroom was smaller than one on a cruise ship. The shower was the size of a port-o-potty and we ran out of hot water on our first night. The kitchen was tiny but had everything you needed, including a full fridge/freezer. During the daytime, you still needed to turn on lights for brightness due to the lack of windows and natural sunlight coming in. Again, the scenery, beach, lake,.erc., were beautiful, but thisnis definitely not my type of place, especially for this cost.

Stayed in the new suites, number 11. Couldn't have been happier with our decision. Elegant and so clean

We stayed in cabin #32. It is beautifully tucked away in the woods. Great porch with chairs and tables. Inside has king bed -soft mattress not my style- clean sheets. Across from the bed us a nice fireplace with TV over top. Lil kitchen area but works. Huge bathroom great jacuzzi and stand up shower. Check out is at 10am but the office doesn't open till 9a so we had to go back to the cabin to leave the keys since we left at 8a. Very nice would def come back.

This was my 2nd year staying at MSL Resort and I can't say enough about how wonderful this place is!! It is perfect for the whole family. The view, the clean and cozy cottage, friendly and helpful staff and all the fun attractions that are so close. Sitting on the porch of cottage #41 is breath-taking and extremely relaxing. Can't wait until next year!

We stayed at cottage #17 (Old Farm House) which was immaculate and well appointed. The resort is from a simpler time and features a quiet nature trail that circumnavigates a pristine lake. We found the grounds to be well kept and always peaceful. This resort is about swimming or canoeing in the lake, fishing, hiking and doing puzzles. We felt so much more relaxed and refreshed upon leaving MSL Resort compared to stays at Cape May or the Outer Banks.

Not a single complaint about the quality of the room, the quality of the hotel. Very comfortable beds! It's almost too good to be true how close this hotel is to the downtown area. I'm really really glad I booked this hotel instead of other hotels nearby. This hotel, you can literally walk out the door and go a block and a half and your restaurants are right there in either direction. I wanna make it extremely clear how nice though the hotel was. All of your modern enemies, and all in top form! Absolutely perfectly comfortable beds and pillows. An outstanding air conditioner or heater that worked remarkably well in the room to control your climate to exactly how you wanted it. Super clean with all the bathroom and other amenities. No need to Uber. I want to really point out that this town has multiple breweries and wineries and restaurants. If drinking is part of your agenda wow you won't have anything to worry about you'll be able to walk a block or two, have your drinks and walk back to your room! There's also wonderful restaurants here as well. Finally, it's not a crazy loud town. It's very quiet just a lot of mature fun! Super highly recommended if you're staying in the Delaware water gap area! Very close to the Delaware water gap for you to explore also!

I was visiting family in the area. It was my first time staying at a hotel vs staying with family, and I'd definitely consider this option again. The hotel is located right downtown, within walking distance of main streets. Staff was very pleasant at check in. My room was quite spacious and very clean. There was a couch and desk, big bathroom. They have a fitness room, but the equipment is old and some of it wasn't functioning well. They put out a good breakfast spread with actual hot food and plenty of choices. The only real off thing about my whole stay was that the morning I stayed they had omelettes that contained tiny pieces of sausage and it wasn't labeled as containing meat - which as a vegetarian I wasn't thrilled about. When I brought this up to a staff member they were a little dismissive. Beyond that one interaction though, everything here was quite nice and I'd be happy to stay here again. Actually, I'm quite excited that I have such a nice option and am going to make this a go-to whenever I need a hotel in the area. :)

Most people usually don't like to work out on vacations so hotels try to get away with putting 3 dumbbells and an elliptical in a room and claiming they offer a "gym" on their facilities. This place was much better than usual! I got a great workout in before the festivities There is also a nice indoor pool with a hot tub that my kids took full advantage of. They had a lot of fun with all the other kids at the hotel. Room was nice and spacious and there was a private balcony that led to the back of the cabin with a nice view of the woods. Only reason we didn't hit that 5 star was because of the weird layout. The rooms were at a different location from all the amenities so after we were done swimming, we kinda had to wrap up and walk in the freezing cold to the other area to reach our room. The bathroom was also kinda small Other than that, it was a great stay! The staff was super friendly and we were very comfortable.

My girlfriend and I went here for the first time in October 2025. The layout for the hotel is a bit bizarre (including on-property parking). For instance, if your room is in the 400 section, that does not mean the fourth floor but one of the "wings." Below that is the 300 section but I think that is closed for renovations right now. The place is an eclectic mix of new elements and a sort of 1980's feel. The colors are cool and the rooms also carry over that mix of old and new. However, our room was spotless and spacious. In fact, a bit too much cleaner had been used and we needed to air out the room for a short while. We had missed the bar and restaurant but hope to make it on another trip. A franchise hotel should hire people with a minimum high school graduate which this place obviously didn't hire people with a minimum standard.
