My girlfriend and I have been trying breweries around El Paso, and Mountain Star was next on our list! We arrived with our puppy in the late afternoon on a Saturday - beautiful weather out on the patio. We began with a flight and were floored by the Calavera IPA and the Hazy Cherry Blonde; at small local breweries like this, I have often experienced off-flavors in the beer, but every brew we had was wonderful, with sharp, clean flavor profiles. Not to mention the customer service: the bartender, rocking a superhero costume for the Halloween party later that night, was super friendly and helpful, giving his honest opinion about which IPAs to try. One of the owners came up to us while we were chilling on the patio and welcomed us, even bringing a bowl of water for our pup. Great customer service all around! The one hiccup I would say was the food. There's a food truck outside that offers bar food, and while it was fine, the grub wasn't nearly as memorable as the cervezas. Overall, very impressive beers and customer service at Mountain Star! We'll be returning. read more

I pulled in to escape the heat after finding them on Yelp, glad I did. Cool spot to drop in for a couple cold ones on draft. Staff is superb, friendly and helped me pick out some beers to try. I should also say the people inside were also very friendly and I struck up some great conversations with some longtime El Paso locals. I didn't try too many beers but I had a couple rounds of (I forgot the name) and enjoyed every sip. Also, they are dog friendly which made my visit even more enjoyable. The place is situated in a small warehouse of sorts w roll up garage doors, i was told they have live music on some nites so it's probably a fun spot on the weekends too. I'll be back! read more

I've been wanting to check this brewery out & finally had the opportunity to do so this last weekend. Stopped by MSB on an impromptu brewery crawl with a couple of friends. We were able to sit at the bar & try the different beers. I was a little disappointed that they were out of the beer that I had been wanting to try. That's my main reason for the four star rating, was the lack of selection. I will update my review once I'm able to swing by & try the rest of their beers. I'm optimistic that my rating will go up after sampling the rest of their products. The location was easy to find. They had a food truck available (I cannot remember the name) and their pulled pork sliders were delicious! The beers I was able to sample were delicious & I cannot wait to try their other beers once they're back on tap. Service was quick & friendly. Out of all of their great features, I'd have to say that my favorite part of this brewery is the access to fresh air. Super handy during this pandemic. They have garage doors that open up to create and indoor patio area near the tasting room & a patio out back. I am excited to spend some time out there when the weather warms back up. read more

This brewery is very chill. The beer is cold, and the variety is excellent. There's no food except for the food truck out back. We had a big dinner so we didn't try them. But! Yes, yes, and YES! This is an amazing place for great craft beer. Their recipes fit my palette all around. Their drafts are clean, clear, and smooth. I had one of their flights and all four crafts were delicious. Not to mention the ABV % hit the right spot, just right. This small warehouse needs a good cleaning but the beer and food they are producing is done with passion and done right. This is definitely a spot you need to come check out. We visited Mountain Star Brewing Company on a Friday after work. Such a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. I had a Santino Green Apple Blonde Ale. I'm horrible at describing beers and related drinks so I won't butcher the description by trying to describe it, but it was really good and unique. I also stole a sip of my boyfriend's Calavera IPA and Hazy Cherry Blonde. Both were also great. The staff was super friendly and attentive, which I very much appreciated. It was a good place to grab a drink and enjoy the warmer weather. Parking wasn't too bad. If there aren't spaces available when you arrive, you're welcome to park in the gravel lot on the side. read more

Amazing customer service, awesome music great selection of drinks. There was a vendor event going on with awesome vendors and great selection of items. The brewery is dog friendly and has indoor and outdoor sitting. They have corn hole giving for another fun option to do while you enjoy your beverage. The most notable thing that I appreciate as a lady is the bathroom has free feminine hygiene products which is very appreciated they are also the good quality ones too which as a female who needed an item I was grateful Totally recommend this location for an awesome time! read more

Great beer. Owners were super friendly! We stopped by on our way to Phoenix and were not disappointed. We were given a tour of the brewery and able to sample all the beers on tap. They also had complimentary chips and salsa. Facility was clean and taken care of. We had multiple other brewery stops on our list but enjoyed this one so much we stayed the whole time.
