Amazing drink selection! Occasionally they have promos for special cups as well to promote a beer.

First visit ever. Had no idea I could taste before, nothing explained. I can in around 6:40 on a Thursday not busy at all maybe 12 people. My service was HORRIBLE. I waited 15 mins for a beer. My "server" checked on every table around me but never came back to me. I had to go to the bar to actually get help to find out my tab was transfer to the bartender who came in. Never once did the new bartender come check on me or introduce herself I just sat here. Beer quality was great, I would visit another location maybe but not this one for sure.

    Small growler on Cider Saturday!

Fair warning... I am a huge Cider fan, and it indeed was a Cider Saturday at Tinman. We promptly got greeted and helped with our drinks, I downed a pineapple cider whose name I can't recall and my fiancé got the blueberry one. We ended up deciding on the Pineapple and we got ourselves a little growler. The atmosphere is perfect to go and knock back a few pints, it was hot as hell so I'm sure any brew would have done on that day. We are excited to continue going and checking out all of the different flavors they later introduce as well as grow our Growler collection at home!

The good thing about getting out and meeting new people is that you discover new spots in Hell Paso that you've never been to before!! This place is super chill. You can sample the beers they have there, and I love the vibe. I went on a Thursday night, and it wasn't packed at all. I also realized that they have other locations. I had a good time, and the bartender was awesome. He knew I liked the ciders and forgot to try the guava one, and he brought a sample over. It was def amazing!!! Oh, I went to the location on Zaratoga (spelling). Give them a try!! I'm sure you won't be disappointed if you love beer and just hanging out!!

This place is amazing. Came here while waiting for my laundry to be done and wound up really enjoying the ciders they offer. My husband especially enjoyed the stouts and we loved the decor, seating area and bar tender. Very friendly and chill place to have a drink after a long day and they offer the growlers which I might consider next time since their Emperor cider was addicting. The music aLso added to the experience for me as it was a lot of 90s/00s alternative rock and the other patrons seemed friendly and into it.. I'm looking forward to trying the other location as well. Once I'm back on the east side doing laundry, I'm definitely stopping by.

Yummy Summer Ale and La Chancla!

This place is a favorite of my husbands and I. We usually come in at least 2-3 times a month. We love the samples so we can really enjoy the glass we pick. We go from going in and drinking to filling up some growlers and bringing it home. I've definitely been able to expand my beer selection because they allow the testers. Today it was just my husband and I stopping in for a beer, I got the Karbach Tasty Wave Summer Ale (which was amazing! They unfortunately no longer have the Texas Tea which was my ultimate favorite one) and my husband got La Chancla, the Mai Time and the Stash IPA. He is a bit of a beer snob but he really enjoyed all of them. His favorite was the Stash IPA. Now idk if we were able to do this but I got hungry and my husband ran next door to Papa Eric's and ordered some burger and fries and he brought it back over to Tin Man and let me tell you it was the perfect combo! Great beers and great burgers!! I love going to the Zaragoza location and look forward to going again.

Nice spot to grab a beer and hang out. The bartenders are extremely friendly and knowledgeable about what they have on tap. I'm a brown/red/lager gal when it comes to brewskies. Unfortunately they had none of the above; however, the bartender made some recommendations and let me try samples until I found something I liked. It's a pretty small place, with just a couple large, picnic- eqsue tables. The crowd was a mixture of borderline hipster dudes, and your normal army dudes.. but definitely all dudes. The only ladies around seemed to be wives/girlfriends. Sorry boys, if you're looking to pick up chicks you should try somewhere else. Also, in contrast to the sports bar a few doors down, the music isn't blasting so loudly that you can't carry on a normal conversation. So you can leave without your ears ringing for the next hour.

This was free glassware day. Buy a beer and keep the glass for their anniversary

The environment here is GREAT! The bartenders are all wonderful people. They're very personable. The beer selection is always great. It's not an overwhelming selection either. It's a little something different for everyone. I highly recommend! It's my favorite place to chill with my husband

This is my go-to spot for beer and socializing! It is a bar without that grungy bar atmosphere. It is very hip and comfortable. That staff is one of the key elements that makes the Tin Man such a great place. They are always friendly and welcoming. The beer selection here is amazing. I have never left disappointed with any product I have purchased, especially because they allow you to sample before purchasing; this is an excellent customer service idea. One of my favorite things about Tin Man, which i exploit religiously, is that it is a beer filling station. What this means is, I can bring a growler (container appropriate for the portable transport of beer) and they will fill it, seal it, and I can take it home and partake of the wonderful world of quality beer from the comfort of my own home. That said, when I'm in the mood for good vibes, music, and to just hang out with a friend and drink a couple pints, this place is the perfect spot.

I got a root beer, a small combo with brisket and of course some honey glazed spare ribs, green beans and corn on the cob. Though I haven been here In several months I could have swore it used to be a whole ear of corn in the past, not a cobette. I also wanted an appetizer to start of some of their fried mushrooms with gravy instead of ranch. My drink came right away, it was ice cold and the Root Beer right on point. Then I waited. And waited. And waited. Wondering after about 10 minutes now or so where my mushrooms were.... Waited a little more ... and out came my entree. With apologies, some mix up in the kitchen and mushrooms ??? So I said to cancel them, because I wanted them as an appetizer, to eat beforehand. So now that my food had arrived, I no longer needed them. So my waiter said he would. So I'm buttering my corn. Salt and peppering it, trying my green beans (so good, but needed some salt and pepper too), opening this tiny maybe 2oz thimble full of bbq sauce for all that meat on my plate, taking a bite out of my first spare rib and another gentleman shows up with a basket of mushrooms and ranch. Apologizing that mine actually got sent to another table so they had to make mine again. I chew the rib chunk in my mouth and tell him that I had cancelled them already because they were to be an appetizer. And I already had my food. He again apologized and asked could he just give them to me, after all they were already made, I told him i didn't want him to have to do that but he insisted. So I agreed. I didn't know how many I might eat now, I was already out of the notion. But it was nice of him to comp them and leave them. So my food. Ribs were amazing. As always. My brisket was either the first cut or last cut on the board. It was more like burnt ends. I had no nice slices of brisket. Everything was black tough char. Some small outer slices, some outer chunks. All crusted and black. I just kept telling myself, this must be what burnt ends are like! And used sauce to try and moisten it... but on most of it, that was impossible. It was hard, tough, hard to chew. Very flavorful for what it was and I have pretty good teeth. But I got no nice softer moist slices. I didn't complain, I just soldiered on and ate it all. My ribs were so good, this day I wish I'd just gotten them. The corn was very nice and kernels popped when you bit into them but they were cold? The cobette would not melt butter. I've never had that issue before. The mushrooms were piping hot so I could tell they were fresh made. But I only ate about 5. I was all about my plate by the time it came. So this wasn't 5 star visit this time. I will be back, they still have my favorite bbq sauce in town, it tastes like Central Texas Bbq Sauce. So the brisket and corn missed the mark this visit, normally they are both on point. And the Gentleman in the Red shirt went out of his way to correct a kitchen or other waitpersons mistake on my appetizer in a friendly quick manner and I greatly appreciate that. And I'll tell others. I think I'd say, don't serve customers all black first cuts or last cuts on brisket unless they ask for that, most of us are looking for some nice lean to moist tender slices when it comes to brisket, thank you.!
