[[HIGHLIGHT]]This is a super cozy spot to go to after a day of skiing, with lots of great pizza options and sides.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The beer cheese was a standout, we went through it SO quickly since it was so addictively good. The garlic rolls were a little too garlicky and perhaps slightly burnt. There's a ton of pizza options and the staff had great recommendations - I love a good pesto pizza and this one didn't disappoint.

The Pesca Pizza is one of the best pizzas I've had in quite a while. As soon as I saw peaches on it, I immediately knew I needed to try it and it exceeded my high expectations. The cheese sauce was amazing. It was overall a great combination of flavors. I'm not sure their other pizzas could live up to it, but I would absolutely come back to try more!

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Great vibes![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Came in to redeem a beer our BIL left us on the wall (you can buy a buddy beer and they leave the name up for 6months to redeem). [[HIGHLIGHT]]Came straight from tubing the Yampa River. It was a cool hang out with both inside and patio seating.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I had the Passionfruit Cider and it was refreshing. My husband tried a flight (6beers) and thought they were good. We tried the popcorn, to be honest, I wouldn't order again. It was kinda burnt flavor and i didn't prefer the powdery cheese topping, but thats just me. The garlic bread smelt amazing, tho we didn't try it. Benjamin, behind the bar is a delight!! he never stopped smiling. We chatted a few times between customers and seems like he really loves his job and was knowledgeable. Only staff complaint, was one other staff member that kept coming up and interrupting us to get tasters for some tables. As a bar tender your job is to engage with customers as long as it doesn't interfere with efficiency... I felt like this other guy was just being rude. He could have stood there and been like "hey benjamin can i get a ___?" But he would just pop in next to me and talk over us demanding a sample. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Overall we felt very welcomed, the beer was good, atmosphere was great, and location makes it an easy walk in town & perfectly placed by the river outfitters[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

I came back here again, almost a year later and I have to say, they're rolling out great beer. This is the best brewery in Steamboat Springs. My favorite is the Spring Fling, it's a Kolsch brewed with blackberries and black cherries, it's jammy and slightly tart.

Came an hour before closing for a night cap after dinner. I got the Passionate Pedal, i can only handle light beers. Hubbs got the Hoppy Hiker IPA. Beer was nice and cold! Our bartender gave us chips to pick where to donate out of 4 different charities. We think that was such a nice thing to do - giving back to communities.

We were in Steamboat for a few days and came to Mountain Tap Brewery twice during our stay. We stumbled upon it the first time while exploring the area and grabbed a few beers. We noticed their pizza oven and decided to return another day for dinner. Our second visit ended up being a Friday night, and the place was hopping (no pun intended)! We tried their Calabrese pizza as well as the beer cheese which were both lovely. We were so impressed with the service/friendliness of the staff--they were so attentive and quick despite how busy they were. [[HIGHLIGHT]]They have a sizable indoor area that completely opens out towards their "patio" which includes a few gondolas.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We'll definitely be back next time we're in town!

Just realized the white caps on my beer!

On our second visit here, we skipped the flight, as well as the pizza, and each had two of what we liked the most from our first visit. I had the Key West Kolsch, while my wife enjoyed her Locals Lager. [[HIGHLIGHT]]They were busy, but we found a table.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Service was around when we needed it and friendly enough. There may not be many breweries in town, but we've found the few we've been to in our week here to be satisfying. We'd definitely come back here.

The food was 10/10!!! With so many options at Steamboat, we are so glad we chose this place! Their pizzas are a MUST to try! Check out their pizza oven, that thing is a work of art! Staff was super friendly and the service was so efficient and quick! [[HIGHLIGHT]]Beautiful ambiance, across the street from the river, music and atmosphere was great![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Highly recommend! Definitely coming here again!

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Cute little brewery in downtown Steamboat![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We came here for a bite to eat after hitting up the hot springs. Despite being a brewery first, they have a pretty expansive food menu. We started with the garlic rolls to share as a table. These were VERY garlicky. The roasted garlic is rolled up into the bread, so you're getting bites of whole cloves -- if that's not your jam, might want to skip out on this one. Really loves the shishto pepeprs though! We also shared a couple pizzas - the margarita being the favorite. We tried the specials which consisted of mushrooms and a summer sausage (I think?) It was good but a little heavy. The Glider Cider was delish! If you're in Steamboat, they are worth a visit!

Really disappointing experience! I visited mountain tap several years ago and was excited to rev here on my first night back in town. Unfortunately, the restaurant is closing for a spring break starting tomorrow. While I'm happy that the staff will get a break, the brewery was out of almost everything. There was signage - clearly visible at least - and our waiter conveniently waited to tell us that until after we had ordered our drinks. The one thing they did have were their garlic knots. They were undercooked and our waiter didn't even comp them despite being inedible. We chugged our drinks and left to find food. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Only giving it two stars because the beers are delicious and the environment is fun to hangout in (especially in the summer when the garage doors are open).[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] This review was written in spring 2024, I forgot to post it and decided the experience was still necessary to share.

Great brewery right in town with a variety of beers. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I really enjoy the outside patio area in the summer![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We opted for a flight first then ordered the hazy and lager. Only got the popcorn which was tasty but the pizza looks delish! Definitely trying next time I'm in town.

Mountain Tap Brewery was fabulous. Who doesn't love pizza? And when it's made with locally sourced ingredients and wood fired - I mean, really, what's not to like? We weren't even hungry - that should say it all. We inhaled two pizzas, lol. So. Very. Good. I'm pretty sure any pie will be great, but if you're curious about our choices, we opted for the Shepherd and the Calabrese. The Spanish baked goat cheese with flatbread was also amazing and exactly the appetizer that paved the way for more food, lol. I'm fairly sure you can order anything and be a happy camper. Super cute place. Great waitstaff. Five stars easy.

    Floral sour was yum

Really nice place with indoor and outdoor seating. The service was so friendly and helpful in making our beer selection. I enjoyed the floral sours and I'm typically not a big sour fan. The pizza was absolutely delicious and I like the unique flavor options with the mushrooms ‍ would definitely go here again- loved the friendly vibe there were kids, dogs, people of all ages- a very comfortable gathering place.

We showed up again the next day about 30 min before close and the staff was super nice and didn't make us feel rushed or like an inconvenience. The beer was ice cold, hot toddy's were customizable and delicious, and burgers were yummy and worth the return trip. I gave this a 4 star only because the sweet potato fries were oddly large, tasteless, and overcooked along with the chili which was incredibly dry and basically inedible. I'm thinking this was because of how late we showed up though so I won't hold that against them. The rest of our visit was amazing so we will definitely be back!

We were seated right away with no reservation (on a Tuesday evening around 7:30 pm); I imagine reservations probably come in handy. We started with a bottle of wine - the wine list had a wide range of bottles priced lower to your more expensive bottle; we chose one in the middle range (super Tuscan) and it was very tasty. Reviews on food: Calamari: I really enjoyed the calamari! It was lightly battered but had just enough crunch. The flavor was great. They even had lemon wedges and pepperoncini fried in with the calamari which I loved. Cesar salad: I forgot to snag a picture of the salad, and it also happened to be my least favorite item we ordered. The dressing was overly sweet for my liking and did not have your standard Cesar flavoring. I wish I would have asked more about the dressing to understand it a little better. I probably would not order this salad again. Eggplant parmigiano: this was sooooo good! The eggplant was breaded and cooked perfectly. I could have just eaten the eggplant it was so tasty. Highly recommend!! Tagliatelle bolognese: I am a huge sucker for bolognese, so I usually judge this sauce pretty tough. This. Was. De. Licious!!! The meat sauce was full of flavors and the noodles were cooked perfectly. I was impressed! Butterscotch budino: perfect way to end our meal. I'm a huge fan of butterscotch flavored desserts and this did not disappoint. It was light and not too heavy after a meal of pasta. The thick layer caramel on top was delicious. The portions were big in my opinion, so while prices were a little high, I thought we got our moneys worth of food. Our server (and others that came to the table) were all super kind and helpful. It does get very loud in the restaurant, so had the weather been nice enough to eat outside, I probably would have chose the patio seating. Overall this was a great meal! 5 starts for the scrumptious food, portion size, and service.

It took pretty long for them to greet us or bring anything out after we ordered it - I'm talking 40 minutes for our meals, and our server Sam was a little sassy but I'm sure it was just the product of an overwhelming shift. We shared a bunch of stuff for the table, the large steak chimichurri, the burrata, tomato salad, the truffle fries, the kale beet salad, the mac & cheese, and the soup of the day which was truffle mushroom. The stuff was pretty good, I loved the tomato burrata. When I ordered the soup, I asked if it came with any bread or crackers, and he said no, but that he could add in some of the crostinis for me. He ended up charging me several dollars for those later, which I discovered on the bill. That didn't feel right, but whatever. The fries were yummy, the steak was OK and the chimichurri was not even real chimichurri - for $80 for one steak i was hoping for a little bit better experience there. The other dishes were good, but nothing was super memorable here, they did mention that their lunch menu was more well-known and that we should try that, which some of the group did go back the next day and said that it was a much better meal. I know that this is on property at a ski resort and that I never expected prices to be super reasonable, but I was a little bit disappointed for the value here.
