The downside was the bread was soggy on one side, the hippy sauce isn't the greatest, and the ranch could is some work as it is too thin and runny. Don't let the picture fool you... this is the BEST chicken sandwich spot I've ever had. Fast pick up time. Fries AND chicken was seasoned to perfection. It wasn't crunchy since we placed a pick up order to go, but if we sat down and ate I'm SURE it would've been 10x better. I don't typically like cole slaw or pickles, but I loved it here. Food was good and filling. It was also made quickly and tasted fresh. I had the spicy chicken which I recommend over the regular chicken. It was not hot but had better flavor than the original. Cocktail drinks were small and not very strong I would probably stick to beer or soda next time. The coleslaw is ok not a lot of flavor but nice that it was included. I liked the variety of sauces they offer for the chicken as well which can also be used for the fries. I think this place is pretty new and if you're into hand breaded deep fried chicken then you found the right place. Located on the main drag coming into town it's hard to miss. We stopped in just to check them out. I didn't see anything on the menu like a grilled chicken sandwich, but that's okay. We ordered a simple three piece tenders and boy were they good! Big pieces of chicken, tender and juicy. The key being the oil they cooked the chicken in seemed very fresh! They have a tiny bar, but not really a place you come to for drinks. Not a place for me! Food was just ok, but my complaint is about the TV's. They won't put football on their TV's. I asked and was given a stupid excuse by a kid working there. I was warned that Ski Towns can be a bit pricey but this was the most overpriced chicken for the most underwhelming taste that I have ever experienced. For my party of 3, where one was a kids meal, it came to $63 for an order of wings, a 3 piece tender meal, kids meal, and I had to order fries and drinks separately bc they do not come with the adult meals. The chicken tenders were under seasoned, stringy and rubbery, and the batter was crispy but lacked flavor too. Kind of like a tougher Cane's chicken tender. Chicken fingers are tender and moist. I got the six piece and I did the half and half. Half regular and the other half spicy. Wow, spicy is an understatement. So spicy I could only eat 2 of the 3. Still very good. The coleslaw is a vinegar based coleslaw, which does do a good job of cutting through the spiciness of the chicken fingers. Hypnotic Chicken is just down the road from our hotel, so after a day of skiing yesterday, we were like...sure, why the hell not, let's give this place a go. We ordered a ton of food with the plan to have plenty of leftovers for the next day. We do have to give props to the young gentleman who was manning the floor--he was awesome! So patient and helpful and completely amusing, absolutely everything you would want in someone working in hospitality. And he even pretended to be a hypnotic chicken to our daughter's amusement after she asked if there were any around. As for food, there were highs and lows. Unfortunately, the lowest low was the chicken we ordered! The "thunder thighs" (ugh, such a stupid name) were rubbery and fatty and just unappetizing even though the two sauces we got on them--buffalo and peri peri--were pretty good. Our daughter's chicken tenders were much better, but her fries were cold, which is the second time that this has happened on our trip! Now let's get into the sides: kale salad was good but why oh why put cranberries in it and ruin it?? We liked the sweet potato waffle fries and we loved their corn cob coin things (prob our fav dish). The mac-n-cheese was bland. Listen, it's a cute little spot with fair pricing and they had a decent happy hour (the Moscow Mule was pretty good). We just wish that a place called Hypnotic Chicken had, well, some good chicken. The chicken tenders were so moist but the breading needed a bit more seasoning. The variety of dipping sauces is exactly what a sauce love like me needs. The Mac and cheese was rich and warm, I could have eaten another bowl of it. The fried pickles were unexpected since they were sliced in thinner spear like shapes which I typically don't like because the breading to pickle ratio is off but due to the smaller shape cut these were perfect breading to pickle ratio.
