This is disappointing because the center has so much potential and has historically provided a positive environment. Hopefully, the program will take feedback more seriously and return to prioritizing growth, fairness, and development for all players.

I had the…read moreopportunity to model for some life drawing sessions of the art class offered in the center and was impressed by the facilities and activities offered to seniors who avail of the Center's services. The Center has a beautiful common social area, a well-equipped gym, and a classroom for language, art, and other classes and social activities. The staff is very friendly and helpful and they make sure that covid precautions are taken (masks are mandatory regardless of vaxx status) in light of the fact that seniors are a vulnerable subset of the population.

I've also sent my kids to camps at this facility over the years, and most recently, my kids have used the basketball court for training. I've always found the community center staff to be friendly, the building clean, the restrooms working, etc... I've even gone in to warm up a bit on a cold day / cool down a bit on a hot day. I cannot compare this community center to others in Scottsdale, but it does remind me a bit of a community center where I grew up in Michigan and brings back many warm memories. At first, many new comers are in awe of the beauty of the grounds, the delicious meals, the wonderful programs,retreats and the peacefulness that surrounds them.
