Recently I tripped and fell when I had to get quickly between it and my dog. The owner does not comply with the management telling he to muzzle it and not let it off its leash. Failure to comply with restrictions is justification for putting a dog to sleep in NC. This has been going on for momths. So if your afraid of dangerous dogs, now you know. Managemnt has been aware of the problem for months and another little dog got bit by this giant last week. I don't understand the lack of concern by the buildings owners.

only two reviews is crazy, and i agree that the person who put the first and only bad review…read moreprobably don't know what they're talking about. i moved in here with my boyfriend and my best friend, and it's lovely. it's our first time ever having an apartment and we love the vast Majority of it. i will say the cleaning prior to us moving in was Not the greatest. we also get fruit flies regularly but i guess that's kind of our fault -- regardless we get bugs like literal silverfish and roaches sometimes (very rare but enough that you're like eww, why are so many bugs getting in here?). none of us are like scared of bugs per se so we just kill them lol but i mean i don't know. i won't deny that i think we have plenty of resources that are free to get the bugs taken care of if we think it's starting to get concerning. rn it's just annoying -- but again, the complex makes sure you know these resources and can utilize them, so we lowkey could probably take care of this with a maintenance request, or something similar. the club house is really cute and clean. it's easy to contact the office and get help with things were needing. maintenance usually comes quickly and works efficiently and professionally. there was minor damage to our unit prior to us moving in, and again just a little dirty despite the fact that it should've been cleaned before we moved in -- but we just cleaned ourselves and addressed the damage in this packet the complex gives out. they also send maintenance out after you turn in that packet, and maintenance fixes all the minor damages. soo quiet and lovely community. recycling options and valet trash are seriously so lovely. we're really grateful to live here :)

I would do anything for Elsea, the leasing agent, who is the most personable individual I've just about ever met. The facilities are all clean, newly renovated, and abundant in what they provide to their residents. Nicest fitness center ever, lovely pool, and two dog parks with sinks, soap, and a swinging bench? I adore this place. Boooo one star reviewer. They don't know what they're talking about.

My Girlfriend was hit by a car as a pedestrian at 45 miles an hour and suffered a catastrophic brain injury. The manager and office personnel went way out of their way to accommodate us when It was decided that home care was her best option. They worked quickly to accommodate us with a handy cap / wheelchair accessible apartment and were even willing to allow modifications to the apartment that were needed to tend to her complicated medical requirements. They even helped spreading the word about fundraisers. This is a great place to live. If you pay your rent on time and do not go out of your way to cause problems in the common areas then you will not regret living here. The other thing of note is the maintenance crew. IF HOWEVER the Vet wants to live and eat free.. do nothing and go nowhere It Works for that also. There's not enough done to keep the repeat offenders from returning. Kicked out one week, re-admitted the next. Failed drug tests are abound. Rules not enforced unless Police need to be called and then even then. I needed a place to get my act back together. My plan was to stay sober, not easy here. But if you stick to your plan and get OUTSIDE help (NA/AA) etc.. you can do it. Management changes every 3-6 months.

To preface, I was never late on rent. Never had a complaint against me. I made a few complaints…read moreabout neighbors and on my social media about Ansley since there was excessive noise in the halls, doors slammed all the time, an insanely loud Mustang with open exhaust at 7am daily, and dog poop in the dog park every day. When I complained about the dog poop, they said they don't do anything about it and had been out of the DNA test kits! Dog park turf is never cleaned and is DISGUSTING. Make sure you don't give constructive feedback to management, even if they ask for it, because they will retaliate and issue you a non-renewal on your lease. CRAZY since they had issued me a renewal already, but I went back and forth with them since they were increasing my rent. Meanwhile, they had the apt across from mine listed for hundreds less online. Where is the integrity in that?? Once I complained, they issued me a non-renewal and it was 45 days before my lease expired. To cover themselves legally, they offered to extend my lease to give me 60 days to vacate. After I complained and gave feedback, they will used my suggestions and scheduled events like pup-cup day, community game night, and improved landscaping which was horrible at best. They told me they didn't have a budget for events - but seem to be having more events once I brought my complaints to the Fogelman corporate office. But Fogelman loves the property manager here bc she always hurries to clean up the community before their visits. They have no problem increasing your rent every year even if you're paying hundreds more than your neighbor. They will lie and tell you your rent increase is not negotiable, but it is and I know this bc hellooooo neighbors talk!! Also interesting that a leasing consultant left right after me for a MUCH better community and two maintenance employees are leaving soon. Additionally, the gym equipment is out of date, carpet always dirty, kids play around in there, and wifi never works. A former leasing consultant was also a personal trainer and had a separate gym membership, if that tells you anything. "Pet spa" is a washbasin in the car wash area with no towels supplied and it and the car wash are closed half the year anyways. Honestly the ONLY allure of Ansley is their cheap rent, which is justified bc their amenities, management, and property need a complete overhaul. Save your time and go to one of the many many other newer properties in Asheville/Arden!! Also, most of the reviews are incentivized. After people move in, Ansley asks for reviews and gives people points and gift cards for responding. I'm sure mgmt will respond to this with a generic response defending themselves, but why would they kick me out and then utilize my feedback to better the community if what I was saying isn't true? Oh and if they offer to sit down and talk to you to discuss an issue...DON'T BOTHER. I did exactly that and the property manager was fake, smug and lied in the meeting straight to my face.

We were in a crunch to move quickly during the holidays, and I was looking for something available. Thankfully, Ansley had everything we needed (including a garage) for a quick move-in. There were no crazy fees, no jumping through hoops, and it was quick and easy to have a nice place. The amenities are great, too, including the pool and playground for littles. Extremely dog friendly, which was very important to us. Our view is beautiful. The office staff is great, and the maintenance team is beyond amazing.
