Rented the same trailer twice once in Jan and now in march. Had a tire blow out 30 into the drive…read moreon the highway nothing on the trailer. Owner refused to refund deposit. Claims all four tires were new and just replaced. I checked the tires both on the driver side were new the passenger side was the same tires as before. Owner refused to split cost and would not show receipt for claimed all new tires. Also half the straps provided were almost completely cut and the front jack hardly works.

Upon return to the valley, I contacted the local national RV dealer that wanted me to go through the cost of rediagnosing the converter problem. I looked on the internet for an authorized Tiffin dealer and found EV RV Specialist. I spoke with Josh, explained the issue with the converter. We were told it won't be long to check it out and they would call and give us an estimate within a few hours and continue to process if we approved of the estimate. It was a very normal interaction. However, hours went by and we heard nothing. Around noon we called and were told the mechanic was on his lunch break and should be hearing back soon. We should up at 445 pm to pick up out RV because it is our home. They couldn't find our information and finally told us they don't even know if it was looked at yet. We were told someone would call us the next day with more information and we never got the a call. It was a bizarre experience and I still can't wrap my head around their idea of service their idea of customer service.

I went to a different RV place because of a banging noise from the brakes. I told them that I had a…read morefeeling that the problem was related to the air brake springs. Next day I received a phone call from one of the managers telling me that there wasn't a problem with the brakes and that the noise came from the shocks. They wanted to charge me $1850 for new shocks. I wanted to get a second opinion and someone recommended Above and Beyond. It's a small place with limited parking space so they called me several times before the appointment to make sure that I would come. I dropped the RV off in the morning and a few hours later I received a call- it was ready for pick up. The problem was indeed related to the air brake springs and not to the shocks. They had to be lubricated since the RV was sitting for a long time. They charged me one hour labor to fix the problem and saved me a lot of money.

We had already figured out which camper we wanted and Tom's had one in stock here in Mesa and…read moreanother in their Prescott location so we stopped in to check it out. We worked with John R in sales and found him to be very good at communicating with us as well as negotiating a fair price to match the price of an out of state dealer. We knew we wanted to stay close to home because something is certain to go wrong and we know that you get priority service if you need repairs when you buy local. We scheduled a pick up date and they had the trailer ready, and even helped us choose and set up our new hitch and gave us some advice on towing. Gabe and his guys in service have also been great. We have had to take it in twice and they got us in and back out quickly. The only reason for the 4 star rating is that the floor was impossibly dirty when we picked it up. I have mopped it at least 20 times at the time of this writing and we may finally have it all clean. (The trailer was on the back lot and no doubt had a lot of dirty and greasy shoes walking in an out while it was out for sale).
