I have had three experiences with Reborn. Not to spoil the review, but each time was a bad…read moreexperience. First two times I allowed it, third times a bit too much. People need to know about this shop. First time I left my bike, a Fuji Royale with Reborn for a general tune up. When they finished, I picked up my bike from the shop. I road it around the parking lot to see how it felt. Felt good at first, then something slipped. Turned out they didn't tighten in the back wheel. Just gave it to me loose. Took it back in, mistakes happen. They fixed it. I road it again and it seemed fine. Walked away fairly happy. Later I found out about the paint on my bike (showed in photos below). Kind of a bummer but no big deal, I don't ride my bike for looks so I let it slide. Wife took her bike to Reborn later that month. She got the brakes redone. We went on a 15 miles ride around the Tri-cities. In the middle of the ride one of the breaks go out. Turns out it wasn't tightened all the way. Also, the brake line was already frayed. This is the first ride out of the shop mind you. Went back, they fixed it. Okay, kind of lame but they fixed it so no harm. Next time I took my bike in the handles wrapped. Just get normal black basic wrap. Nothing special. Get it back, seems fine to me. Now less than two weeks into ridding they're all coming undone. Basically wrapped incorrectly across the board. At this point I'm getting my handles wrapped elsewhere. Not even worth having them redo it. I WOULD NOT ever recommend people get their bikes worked on here. They ARE NOT mechanically sound In their work. Take your business elsewhere. Letting them touch your bike is nothing short of dangerous.

The experience was super positive and he treated my nephew like a super star rolling out the red carpet and then telling him he was going to throw in a water bottle for his new purchase. It was a process selecting the right bike and Nolan was very patient, showing us everything that might work for my nephews upcoming junior triathlon. When we came back the second time Nolan said with a smile, "I just built a bike that is green. Do you want to see it?" It was like Nolan knew exactly what we were looking for...I have had a positive experience with this business for over 20 years and counting. Thank you so much for outstanding service!

I also brought my brand new skis in to be waxed as I heard factory wax isn't great, and while the guy I brought them to agreed, he actually turned me away and said I didn't need a waxing for at least 2 or 3 sessions. WOW! So honest and good they turn you away when you don't need it and not just quick to take your money. That will definitely have me coming back here if I need a waxing when I don't have time to do it myself! They also have a good selection of ski, snowboards, snow shoes (and more!) to rent at prices that are lower than Bluewood or other resorts. Stop in here to get your rentals if you need them! I took my snowboard to Dusty's after a few seasons of neglect. The edges were lightly rusty, and…read morethe wax had scrapes and gouges (even into the base in places). I received my board ($35 later) and I looked closer when I got home. There was wax all over the place--dripping around to the top of the board, and almost completely coating most of my edges. The edges were... "sharp", but also still rusty. The board did have new wax, but the base repair was ugly as sin. They failed to mention that their replacement Ptex was black, and that it would look like Satan dragged his claws down my board. I think it has actively damaged the board's resale. It was very clear to me that they did a standard service job on the board and didn't take much time to actually look at what it would need to get it back to good shape. I brought it up to them via email, including detailed photos, and got no response. I called them, and one employee threw some other employee under the bus, saying (and I quote) "I don't want to name names, but there are some kids working here...". I was told to come in at a later time to talk to one of their experienced techs. I did, and while he educated me on some finer points of how they service boards, he didn't clean up rust, didn't clean up excess wax, and didn't apologize. He seemed to think that delivering me a board that would take a half hour of my time just to clean up when I got home was normal. Maybe it is normal for Dusty's. I won't be going back.

They have bikes for every height, surface area (mountain, road, gravel), tandem, hybrid electric, pretty much everything you could possibly want/need, they have it here. You can tell this city has a huge biking community, or is a biking destination city, because this is real bike store, not one of those touristy bike rental places.

My wife and I were driving our 20-yr-old car to our Arizona vacation home. Although we had just had…read moreit in for a checkup at a shop near our home in Washington, we started experiencing difficulties about half-way through our first day of travel. The car would "miss" badly when accelerating. We limped into our first scheduled stop-over, La Grande, OR, and immediately began calling auto shops. It was late in the day, and the first two shops we called couldn't work us into their schedule. We spent the night tossing and turning, wondering if we should turn around and try to make it back home, or hang around La Grande and see if we could get into a shop. The next morning, shortly before 8 am, I made one last attempt at contacting a repair shop. I called B&B Auto Repair. What a lucky decision that was! The owner of the shop asked us to bring in the car immediately, and said he'd see what he could do. Bottom line: he and his partner worked all day on our old clunker, and just as we were beginning to give up hope, they found and fixed the problem (Turned out to be something our local shop should have taken care of...) The guys at B&B are extremely knowledgeable, thorough, and persistent. Unwilling to give up when the first "quick fix" didn't work, they literally worked on our car all day long. (We found out later that they had "bumped" a couple of their regular customers to accommodate us. As owner Ben Bean told us, "We had to help - you're just kind of stuck here".) We couldn't have been happier with their work, and felt their bill was extremely fair considering the amount of effort expended, potential loss of other business, etc. We heartily recommend B&B Auto. In addition to auto repair, they also specialize in motorcycle repair. AND, if you are a Harley enthusiast traveling through eastern Oregon, be sure to check out their line of parts and accessories. And don't go anywhere else if you need repairs!

After looking through tons of different bike shops online and in the tri-citites I settled on Scotts. I initially visited Scotts in Kennewick only to realize I was going to be able to get a much better deal in Oregon (no tax). Initially when I went in the people were super friendly. They are a serious road biking place and are willing to take the time to find the bike that is right for you. I really appreciated all they did in my quest for the right bike and while they did try to upsell me on a few items (all bike shops do this) they eventually were able to beat the price that I wanted by a fair margin. As a word of advice, do your research online before going into any bike shop. The first time I walked in I was quoted $300 higher than what I actually paid, plus I got numerous extras. The haggle room on mid to entry-level road bikes is much more than I ever would have thought so don't be shy about showing them an online deal that is substantially less than what they are offering, chances are you will walk out with a steal.
