My son Alex went there today for the second time and was told for the second time that they couldn't bill his insurance and that he had to pay that day. Alex being 19 just did what they said and left. I thought after a few days of back and forth with these people last time about the insurance that this was settled. They assured me that it was. Honestly, I should have known they didn't care and it wasn't over when they never provided an itemized bill, so we could submit a claim to the insurance. He had to ask for both itemized bills at today's appointment. They just want their money! Alex said he saw a different doctor today and he didn't even know why was there. Do not go here if you like price transparency, I have still not received an itemized receipt and the person in charge of my exam called me and lied about disclosing the extra pricing. Even with good insurance, you will be charged $200-$300 more than your quoted copays and material coverages. Frames are price inflated 200-300% retail pricing. Very Sketchy, avoid like the plague.

He sent me to the ER as a precautionary to get an MRI to check things out and when I tell you, he had to have known! He knew. I had a severe case of hydrocephalus that would have never been found had he not followed his intuition. We got that solved and after i recovered I got my new glasses!

They schedule another appointment but was a month out. Second time around the prescription was wrong again! He then asked for a refund. At which point the customer service turned from nice to downright mean and nasty. Additionally they only granted half of the cost as a refund. The reason for a half refund, some excuse of a restocking fee. Over $200 for a restocking fee for glasses that were made wrong twice and never worn. Would not recommend this place at all.

The woman who helped me said that she would also be the one to adjust the glasses to fit my face and make my lenses for me. They also do eye exams, though I went to a different optometrist for this. I looked at a few other places in town and the Looking Glass had the best selection of glasses by far. My wife, who also wears glasses was with me and we had to restrain her from buying glasses and sunglasses. A very cool thing that they do is after they sell you a pair of glasses, they will not restock the same style, they say they do this to keep current and out of respect for the customer's individuality.

I ended up buying glasses but I was hesitant to buy a bunch of contacts since I'm a college student and money is always tight. I was given a good amount of trial lenses and I was given my prescription to search around on buying options. I have never been offered to be given my prescription so readily, I always feel like it is a fight to get that information, but not here! I saved over $1,000 just to come to this appointment because I expected it to be expensive, but I only ended up spending less than $150 for the exam and glasses.

I purchased glasses the frames were around $200 plus cost for lenses etc. In seven months my frame hinge broke and believe me I take good care of my glasses the last pair I had for 5 years and still have them currently. In any case I brought them back to eye to eye optical and showed them the frame and they told me there was nothing they could do. They were only guaranteed for 3 months. The only suggestion they had was your insurance will give you another discount on frames in one year and you can buy another pair. Righttttttt! I stopped by Walmart one day and told them what happened and they fixed my glasses for free. I had to purchase the part needed to repair them. Guess where I'm going for my next eye exam and glasses
