Overwhelmed and impressed with how detail oriented and methodical Dr Hurst is. He doesn't miss a beat on anything. Other doctors don't spend enough time to find the root cause for ailments and just want large numbers of patients. Dr Hurst is the opposite, he doesn't rush and is very prompt and direct when he spends time with you. So glad I found him and highly recommend others to him, I never knew what a 'Physiatrist' was until I looked it up is a medical doctor who has completed training in the medical specialty of physical medicine and rehabilitation (PM&R).

He didn't answer any of my questions or even acknowledge my comments about previous injuries to my lower back. He asked me if I had drop foot, I said no, and spent 3 minutes testing me for drop foot and then said "you don't have drop foot." Thats really where his examination ended. He didn't recommend any back stretches or ways to strengthen my back. He left for a few minutes to find his "Back model" well, not having a back model in every exam room would be like not having a cash register at every checkout line at Walmart isn't it? I could understand if I went to an ENT and they didn't have a model of the spine in the exam room. I made the decision to have an MRI and xray. Some offices you can fill out the paperwork on line in advance. Not here. It took me 20 minutes to rewrite my name and DOB 4 different times on similar looking forms that the PA didn't even look at when he met with me. Office staff "faxed" seriously, "faxed" (I haven't used a fax in my office for 6 years) my "form" to the imaging center, after a week I didn't hear so i called and they "Re" faxed it. Called the imaging center and said they never got it last week. So another week goes by in pain. Maybe 4 staff members behind that little desk is too many. Ugh, I don't want to go back there to see the results. Any idea who I can go to?

I came in with…read moreStrep Throat, it took them 5 minutes to wait in the lobby, 5 minutes to run the strep test, and 5 more minutes for Dr. Johnson to come in and diagnose me. It was probably the fastest, yet most productive Dr.'s visit I had. He was willing to work with our limited insurance, and there's an attached Pharmacy that has very good prices. 30 Amoxicillin pills (generic) were just over $10 without any prescription insurance. Dr. Johnson also strives to prescribe the cheapest medicine rather than taking advantage of the insurance companies, something I really like. The only complaint I would have, making it 4 instead of 5 stars, is that the walls are razor thin. You can hear the conversations in the room next door - just be aware of that, but it wasn't much of a problem for me. I highly recommend Dr. Johnson for your next visit!

To start off with, I should tell you that I had suffered from severe back pain from a herniated lower disc in my back from a snowboarding injury from 15 years ago. For all those years my back pain persisted and I tried just about everything short of major surgery. My research in possible treatment options led me to Dr. Bill Cimikoski. I had a back treatment by Dr. Cimikoski and I had excellent results. But one important note is that I didn't get much improvement after the first treatment... So naturally, I was a little skeptical and concerned. Dr. Bill told me that about half the time he has to follow up the first treatment that he does, (which is with Stem Cells and PRP) with one or two treatments with PRP alone. The follow-up treatment did cost me another $700, and I will admit I was a bit apprehensive, but it was only after the second treatment that I started noticing improvement. I am so happy I did not stop after the first treatment as I would have had a very different attitude and a different result. I might have even left a bad review. I'm so glad I stayed with his treatment suggestions and did not give up hope after the first try. For me and my personal experience, after all these years and trying so many things that did not work, Dr. Bill and his treatments have made my life so much better. I am back to my old self with my back feeling great again and I am no longer living with back pain. We had great snow this winter and it was the first time in so many years that I got to really enjoy lots of ski days and without back pain. I found Dr. Bill and his staff to be kind, knowledgeable and friendly, and they always took the time to explain everything and answer all of my questions. The Doctor even gave me his personal cell phone number to call him anytime, even nights or weekends, if something came up or I had any questions or concerns. I have never had a doctor give out his cell phone number. Pretty cool. Because of my experience with Dr. Cimikoski, I have been happy to recommend him and his office and I will continue to do so. She started having students there, and since then I have maybe seen her once in five years. I have been on the same medication's for half my life. Same dose, no issues. Jody and the students would write my prescriptions for a year because I travel a lot and I don't have access to American medical so it's important that I refill six months at a time so that I can travel without worry. While on the road, many miles from home, I went to get my refill at a Walmart and Dr Stubler had CANCELED all of my prescriptions. Of course it left me frantic because I need these medication's to survive. I called her office over and over and the receptionist kept saying she would call me back, but I never ever got a call back. I gave it another shot and called again and the receptionist said "Oh, I told her to call you. She canceled your prescriptions because she wants to see you more than once a year and now she wants your lab work". Im traveling. I can't just run into her office. After the prescriptions were already written for a year, Jody called and canceled and left me stranded with no medication far away from home. I am not on any narcotics or controlled substance. She canceled the prescriptions with no contact, no communication whatsoever, to tell that she was going it or why. I would have paid the office a doctor visit if they wanted my money but really dangerous to put someone on medication and then just take it away. During the time that she cut my prescriptions off, I also had a house fire and was displaced along with a family. Worrying about my medication that keeps me alive on top of it, was one of the worst times in my life. No doctor should write you a prescription for a certain amount of time and then just decide to cancel it halfway through without even telling their patient. The staff is there for a paycheck. That's it. When I return to Utah, I won't be going back and it's so sad because I loved her service and understanding so much in the beginning.

I called him out on his verbal statement versus what was in his written contract of which I was required to sign. He grew increasingly anxious and in fact asked me to leave, and then demanded that I leave and that he never wanted to see me as a patient. In all my years of contract work, I have noted that whenever a participant makes a particular notation about a portion of the contract, that is usually the section that I go to first to find out why it is was worthy of such verbal comment. His reaction to my question as to the contradiction in the contract absolutely validated for me his poor patient concerns. With so many other options for chiropractic care in the area, choose carefully. This one is, and will remain at the bottom of my list.
