I had Invisalign treatment with the San Bernardino office from 2023 to 2024, and my experience has been extremely frustrating and disappointing. In May 2024, I went in for a revision and was told I would be contacted when my new trays arrived. I never received a call. About two months later, my husband followed up in person and was told they had not received anything for me. There was no proactive communication or effort to resolve the issue. Around that same time, I was quoted nearly $1,000 for a crown, even though my insurance indicated crowns were fully covered. I later learned this office is not a preferred provider, which explained the high out-of-pocket estimate. I ultimately switched to another dentist where my insurance is properly accepted and have since received routine care without issue. After that, the level of service noticeably declined. For months, I tried to schedule an appointment to complete my Invisalign revision, but was repeatedly told I had to see a specific dentist who is only available in the San Bernardino office once a month. Every appointment I scheduled over a three-month period was canceled. I was eventually offered a May appointment, but I will be out of the country at that time. I asked to be seen at another location and went to the Riverside office, clearly explaining that I was there only to complete my Invisalign revision. Despite this, I was repeatedly asked if I wanted a cleaning, encouraged to get a deep cleaning (which I do not need), and even told I should have my wisdom teeth removed--something no other dentist has ever recommended to me. It felt like constant upselling rather than patient care. After clarifying multiple times that I was only there for my Invisalign revision, I was then told it would cost $2,500 to restart the treatment plan. This directly contradicts what I was previously told by the San Bernardino office--that I had until November to complete my plan. Overall, this office demonstrates poor communication, inconsistent information, and a clear focus on upselling rather than patient care. I do not recommend Mountain Dental to anyone. I've been dealing with them for over 2 years trying to get my implants done correctly, and it's been nothing but problems and excuses. They constantly cancel appointments last minute, even after I take time off work. After multiple failed attempts to make my implants fit, they even broke a "titanium" screw and still couldn't fix it after painful drilling sessions. Every visit turns into another delay, another scan, and another promise that never gets fulfilled. Completely unprofessional experience. I regret ever coming here. read more

(I wouldn't do business with this office, their financial companies Lending Club or Alpheon Credit. They are all crooks! We won't be making any further payments for the Lending Club or Alpheon Credit for breaking his tooth and putting a bad crown that was done twice for me. If what we owe goes to collections or court, we will sue your office for work that wasn't done, a poor crown and giving my husband bad credit). My husband and I were going here for awhile unfortunately. They had a lady dentist, that isn't there anymore, because she was incompetent. She went to remove my husband's old crown, she was very ruff, didn't remove it the correct way and she broke my husbands tooth. Then she tried to make excuses by saying he had bone loss, when X-rays were done several weeks before and no bone lose was mentioned. He was paying with the Lending Club and the front desk manager (Taylor) didn't make sure his payments would be stopped for work he didn't have done, which would have been a root canal and a new crown. Incompetent and scamming office staff! That's okay, he stopped all future payments with his bank. That same lady dentist went to put my crown on before my husband, I had to have imaging taken twice on two separate appointments, it wasn't good and I had to go back to have a new permanent one placed by a different dentist. It still isn't a good crown and I still have sensitivity around the crown only, no where else in my mouth, this was done by the male dentist. He's not very good either because the crown is still a problem. I feel that the dentists and assistants are in the process of learning and they just hire anyone there. I would try and find a different office if I were you, before something goes wrong for you and you get scammed! (I agree with Crystal Mills review). It's a dirty office and the bathroom. I use to be sent every where else I hate the fact I can't use my debit or credit cards to pay. They add a fortune to it, when you use them. That is the only thing I don't like. They advised me the dentist is was longer working there until the visit of my treatment when I asked about her again. I had to proceed because they did not make aware of that until I was already at my appointment getting work done. I waited over 45 minutes for an appointment I had scheduled months in advanced. I will not ever be returning here again. The staff is unprofessional, and the quality of work is very poor. Over 6 months later they are charging me 300 for the same thing I had already paid for. I've been coming here for a little while now, every time I come in it's a great experience. I was recently helped by Doctor Peter H with an extraction and he was very gentle with me to the point that I was pain free after that. I was able to eat without that discomfort and pain in my mouth. This place gets very mixed reviews from me. On the Positive side, hygienist Kristy gets high marks from me. -She simply the best, bar none. In addition to, the office staff is always very courteous, friendly and even remember your name when you come in, This is all is good. -On the downside, the dental assistant to Dr. Fargo was rude, condescending as well as non-listening to my concerns. (I guess hiring high-school drop-outs with low IQ's i quite in vogue there). -The assistant really didn't get the point (nor care in the least) about my informed advice regarding their obsolete , radically inaccurate wrist powered portable blood-pressure monitors. (I DO KNOW my stuff here). That being said, the dentists there are good. But, just remember this, folks: Dentists are very prolific here in Southern California and are a dime a dozen. Excellent dental clinic with great service and staff. All the times I came here, Kristi, Mari, and Jake promptly get you settled and take care of everything smoothly. There's no long waiting times and they answer all the questions. Scheduling is also not an issue because they have open schedules you can work around any schedule. Kristi is my hygienist and I've never had problems with any of the cleaning , scaling, and other procedures. Plus my smile and teeth come out looking amazing. I've been a patient with them for about 2 years and I didn't really like the service but I was too lazy to find another dentist. Today I had enough and decided to go somewhere else. I called 2 different times and the first time I was out on hold for like 8 minutes then I got a voicemail. When I went to get work done they change dentists so it's like if one did the work the other will say well idk why they did this or do you know who did this? Wtf why would I know you're the experts! One dentist says you need this done and the next will be like no I don't think you need that done it's s so annoying and unprofessional. I go to this dental Co for care related to restorative dentistry. The care provided in the office is good. Both in the chair and at the front desk. However, 3+ months back the office was erroneously paid twice for the same procedure and I immediately brought the problem to the managers attention. For almost two months she reassured me the refund was being processed. My calls to the office since provide the same reassurance the refund is coming. I was finally provided a number to the person responsible for such matters ( corp? ) but after calling twice and leaving 2 messages I did not receive a call back. Unfortunately I don't write reviews of businesses that actually follow through with their job/what they tell you they are going to do. I went to Mountainview dental june 21st needing a root canal and in lots of pain. They xrayed me and a minor cleaning. I was told they would send a prescription to my pharmacist and send a request of services or what ever it's called to my insurance. So I waited for my pharmacist to notify me its ready. 2 days go by no text from pharmacist so I check and it's not in yet. I check 2 days later still not in. A week goes by all the while I'm in pain and my epidural has to be postponed because of otc pain relievers I was taking. So I check with Mountainview and the prescription wasn't sent because I gave her the wrong address. I was off one digit. The phone number I provided was correct. So it was my fault I was told. Ok. So her I am patiently waiting for the request for the root canal and I call the insurance company and they have not received the request yet 3 1/2 weeks after my appointment waiting and told it should be 4-6 weeks still. Are you efing kidding me. I have a hole the size of trumps ego in my chewing molar that needs attention. So know I have to find a new dentist and start over for the third time. The entire medicle field is filled with under qualified staffs that do not understand why people are seeking care. For the most part are clinically brain dead waiting for lunch break. And cam only follow some b.s. company prescribed verbiage. read more
