After my former doctor (John Tucker DO) left his practice I had to find a new primary care physician. A friend of mine recommended Dr. Aaron Pfau at MountainView Family Care. I've been going to see him since November of 2021 and my experience has been great. Dr Pfau takes his time to address my concerns for what ever the issues are I'm being seen for. He or his staff always does a followup to make sure everything is ok. I recently have had to call the office very late in the day for some last minute changes for lab work the next morning and was worried that they would be able to make it happen as my experience with other doctors was that I would have to make a followup call to remind them. Dr Pfau's staff made it happen! It's a refreshing change to some of the experiences I've had with other local heath providers. read more

Dr. Pfau has always done great by me. Unfortunately my endocrinologist is in the process of switching clinics and had no access to fill my insulin prescription (I need insulin to stay alive). So my endocrinologist recommended I ask Dr. Pfau to fill it just for 30 days to get me by so that I didn't end up in the hospital or worse. Dr. Pfau refused to fill my insulin. Insane to think that a Dr wouldn't refill a life save saving prescription needless to say I've been in the hospital for 2 days now. I definitely won't be back to this office my trust was broken. read more

Just delighted to give Monica Lau and the other staff an easy five star review, thoroughly deserved. After moving to El Paso and being unable to find a doctor taking new patients I searched further and it was the best decision, Dr Lau is exactly what I expect and hope for in a family doctor. She is warm, compassionate and experienced. The other staff are also kind and warm professionals, I am surprised not to read many positive reviews of this gem of a family practice. Happy to have made this my regular doctor indefinitely, I feel lucky El Paso is closed to new patients now. Worst doctor visit experience in my 40 years, visiting many states and multiple countries. Dr. Pfau said he couldn't really do anything and didn't know how to help. He wouldn't even refill my CURRENT prescriptions and said that probably wouldn't help. WHAT?!?!? I felt he didn't care whatsoever. Every other dr I've ever gone to made effort to figure out the problem and would at least give me something to try according to the best of their ability. He basically just shrugged me off. I left the office angry and stunned. read more
