Dr. Pai has treated 3 generations of my family over the last 25 years plus friends too. She is a rare find among Doctors! Dr Pai knows patient care and medicine. I totally trust her knowledge and expertise and that I get the best care available. I am very lucky to be her patient and wouldn't go any where else for primary care. Recently I had some very unusual medical symptoms and Dr. Pai quickly saw me, listened to my symptoms and correctly accessed the cause which was confirmed with blood work for a rare condition. I'm pissed. I have been with the CNP Hedsna Rocha, for over a decade, before she was even with New Mexico Primary Care Group. She's amazing, but I was just informed the place dropped me as a patient because I've had "too many no shows" going back YEARS. I see her only twice a year. And they say I have multiple no shows within a certain year. Which is funny because I see her TWO TIMES A YEAR. TWO. TWICE. 2. Not multiple appointments. And no one will let me talk to Hedsna. They send you to her assistant and she doesn't ever return calls. She's a joke and is another one that shouldn't be working there!!! The front office staff are rude and don't know what they are doing. For instance, my son had an appt in Nov for in-house blood work. He showed up and they told him his appointment wasn't until "next year". And I have the appointment card!!! I called and left messages asking for a call back regarding this, and I STILL haven't heard from them, three months later. Run from this place. I do NOT recommend this place. Now I have to find a new doctor who will help me with my disability!!! read more

My wife and I moved to LC about five years ago and a neighbor recommended NM Primary. (that neighbor has since moved back to Minnesota). My wife and I have both, NEEDED NM Primary. In very good times and very bad times...NM Primary has been there for us. It is a very busy place, providing healthcare for, in large, seniors. I want to emphasize that NM Primary is a very busy place, but for us, the employees have been friendly, and caring. Our first Doctor was Ganem-Perez, who we liked, but she moved back to El Paso. FNP Santana is our doctor now and she is fantastic. We cannot praise her enough. But, we understand that medical care is a two way street. The doctors can tell us what we should do...and we try to do our part. Mostly. One time, I went back to my old BP medicine on my own...and she still barks at me, every visit... read more

It seems their primary reason isn't practicing medicine, but more promoting their expensive hormone shots which insurance does not cover. The nurse practitioner gives this therapy. Then I switched to a doctor who was more interested in dressing like Cinderella than practicing decent medicine. Disgusted with the whole experience I found a new primary care physician. read more

I am currently a patient of Hesdna Rocha, NP. I have had to beg for pain meds even when it is obvious I can barely move my upper body. The most recent debacle was her reading me the summation of bloodwork. Mostly all is well, need to increase thyroid meds and, oh, you have kidney disease. She was very blase about it and had no suggestions or referrals. When I requested a printout of all diagnosis, I was shocked to see: Stage III Chronic Kidney Disease. Previous bloodwork done four months before and all was well. So in less than a year in Cruces, I need suggestions for GOOD primary care for the second time. read more
