Dirt daubers are a big problem here. They make their nests inside the roofs above the boats which creates a big mess on the boats. We had to spend about 30 minutes cleaning our boat before taking it out on Watts Bar Lake to have fun. The owners know there is a problem with them but do not do any attempts to get rid of these pests. Thus, the rent $100 a month.

A nice paved walking trail with other amenities. Sadly, not many places around here have sidewalks,…read moreso we rely on Cleveland Greenway as a safer option for walking away from the streets or brush. Creeks run alongside it, and people are seen fishing. We spotted some rock bass, creek chub, and green sunfish within the shallow waters. We've also spotted some garter snakes and a copperhead snake right to the side of the sidewalk, so BE AWARE, especially walking with pets or children. Parking areas and restrooms are dotted along the pathways. Bicycles are permitted, but watch for pedestrians. We attempted to ride our bikes on the Greenway, but it was too crowded with pedestrian traffic to be enjoyable. Dogs are also permitted but must remain on a leash. There is Greenway Park, located off Raider Drive, that offers a playground, restrooms, pavilion, event stage, open space, and public art. It's a nice place to rest. You can also reserve the pavilion and stage. It's advised to see Cleveland Greenway's website for reservation information.

We set up took down to have a wedding and we put everything back as it was. The lady park ranger was a jerk. It's unfortunate to have employees who have a power trip and cannot speak nice to the people who paid to use the facility. I would be embarrassed to have an employee like this gal.

Rental prices are for the day and you go tubing as much as you want within their operating hours. Prices vary by the type of tube you choose and any accessories you rent (oars and push off sticks). I opted with the premium tube with a cup holder and head/back rest accompanied by an oar. The oar really helped to keep you in the strongest current and out of low lying places in the river. They do require you to have a life vest and will provide them free of charge. If you personally decide to wear it or not - it is at your risk but you have to have one in your possession while tubing. Once checked in, you load up on to a small bus and up the river they take you. Your drop off location is "Iron Works Grille" parking lot. Iron Works is also a great location frequented by motorcycle riders traversing the Cherohala Skyway. They have food, cocktails, and occasional live band inside and on their patio. Upon arrival at the drop off location, the staff provides with your tube to float. We entered the river right at the edge of Iron Works property. We set sailing down the river at a leisurely pace. The overall trip is only .8 miles back to the starting point of Big Bears parking lot. Upon end of float, you exit the river and the staff retrieve your tube. You keep your life jacket and accessories. If you decide to take another trip you load up on the next available bus and repeat your trip. They have portable restrooms on site and a small shop to purchase t-shirts and tubing accessories. The staff was friendly and well organized. I will give them a high recommendation for being the New Kids on the Block.

Um, isn't that why we paid for 50 amp service? Luckily, it was cool enough that we didn't need to run the ACs.Roads a bit narrow for larger rigs with vehicles parked too close to the road. Mostly long term but appeared fairly neat. Our site was barely long enough for us to fit with toad attached. We had a very odd setup of fake grass with a plastic table and one plastic chair? Thesites are very close together. Wehad to detach our toadto get around ahairpin turn. Why is this in an RV park? There was noisy traffic 24/7. And, of course, the internet did not work. We would have to pass on this the next time through.

Excellent customer service!…read more My wife and I stopped in here to pick up some tubes and patches because we had flat tires from riding. We were visiting from Florida about 4 months ago or so, fleeing a hurricane. These guys are super nice and they had excellent customer service. They went above and beyond. It not only had to do with them helping us with getting our bike parts, but they were just super friendly nice guys that were a pleasure to talk to, and were recommending places for us to go and visit.
