From our first several "window shopping" visits to the purchase and delivery my husband and I never once felt pressured or "sold" on anything. Jason is someone who loves his job and it shows. When we finally settled on a pontoon and were awaiting delivery tragedy struck and my husband passed away. When I called to tell them I wasn't going to be taking delivery on the day we had set up and why the response was "this boat is NOT a priority and there is absolutely nothing you need to do or think about where it is concerned. When you are ready you call us and tell us what you want to do about the pontoon." The specific details are personal, but suffice it to say Jason and the owners of Madisonville Marine truly took care of me. I didn't buy the original pontoon, but opted to purchase a smaller one I was comfortable with handling on my own. Their yearly maintenance is quick, easy and efficient - and they guys on the dock are a hoot! Anytime I've had a question they have been helpful. I recently wanted to do a repower on a boat I…read morehave been working on for quite a while but I got some bad information that this place didn't do repowers only rigged new boats. I took a chance and called them and yes they do repowers so I ended up talking with Dave Carnes the salesman and he verified they could do the work. So I towed my boat to him so he could evaluate the hull and discuss what wants I needed on the boat. We came up with a plan of engine replacement and some additions I asked for. He said it might take a while which there were customers ahead of me in which I understand I was in line for my turn. I expected 3-5 weeks out on it but was calling me the first week with updates where we were at. By the second week they were installing the engine and ready for lake testing to get the prop pitch right and were ready for me to pick it up. This place is top notch and the customer service is incredible. Their mechanics went above and beyond with fabrication and replacing possible issues that could trouble me. I also want to give a shout out to Jonathan the parts manager for setting me up with everything I need to service this engine as it breaks in. Thanks to all these people that were involved in bringing my boat back to life. I would recommend this place to anyone who is looking for the best service anywhere. Going white water rafting with my family for my birthday was everything I could have hoped for…read more.. and more! Our guide, Spencer, was incredibly skilled as he could have navigated blindfolded... yes, he's that good! Spencer was also an absolute blast to surf the river with... very friendly, knowledgable and well-traveled... he had plenty of amusing stories to share and kept us all very engaged. I should also mention that Spencer was also seriously great at gaging our comfort level vs. our spirit of adventure... therefore, he was able to navigate us down various paths of the river making it challenging and thrilling for us! While there are plenty of white water outfitters to pick from, we intentionally picked a smaller outfitter and we were so glad we did... we felt our experience was more personal, less generic, and seriously less crowded! I only wished I had sat in the front of the boat where the photographer was situated... that would have made a fantastic birthday photo. The only other "disappointment" was that Cascade Outdoors advertised about their HOT SHOWERS which was super important to us and was one of the main reasons we chose Cascade Outdoors... but there was NO hot water available and the lack of being able to take a good shower after the rafting trip did impede on our other plans. Other than that, Cascade Outdoors and our guide, Spencer, offered us a fabulously fun white water experience on the Ocoee River! We can't wait to return!!! :)

Website on Facebook says beautiful lake views, but all you see is docks and buildings from 95% of the sites, however they will charge you premium prices for the ugly views. They also say full hookups for electric water and sewer, but half the sites don't have sewer hookups. Owner offers to pump out the sewer maunally, but only when its convenient for him, not when you need it. Owners read the electric meters but do not offer a bill for your usage, and can't remember the reads when asked for verification. These owners don't xare about the enjoyment of the renters only the money put into their pockets. There are much better camping places on Watts Bar lake that offer lower prices and a real family experience.
