Regarding my missing belongings my husband went and spoke with cube smart front desk and they said if it happened a month back they don't have any footage because it was The storage place footage a month prior . Weird how The storage place has not responded.... I understand The storage place isn't liable for anything but not even having the camera footage is outrageous. We had an unexpected and urgent need for an immediate storage space arising from the unexpected failure of the seller to sign off for our new home. Anticipating a "normal" house closing and taking possession of our new home, we drove from San Antonio arrived in Corpus with both SUVs loaded with personal items. Working with our realtor Stephanie Hastings and with her advice we called The Storage Company@ Holly. We called and had told Samantha about our dilemma. Despite the panic in my voice, she remained cordial, expressed a true understanding of our dilemma and worked with me to find an appropriate size storage unit. In addition, she set up a short-term month to month rental, and called the Holly facility to coordinate with Amanda at the front desk our arrival and check in to the unit. Amanda arrived, took us to our unit, and with us never anticipating we would be renting a storage unit rental had locks available. When I returned the next day I met Lindsey and Lilly. Lindsey told me she had spoken with the team and was aware of our situation and was glad they could help. Lilly similarly expressed appreciation for our business. All be it a short rental I cannot emphasizes the person touch, the genuine interest in helping, and the follow thorough in providing a service (not to mention the clean and secure units) that is uncompromised in the storage business.

This meant an immediate charge to my credit card and the incorrect date with the rental starting a full month early. I contacted the location and Kelsey was so kind, and understanding, and corrected the issue immediately. I was so relieved. I am trying to do so many things at once in preparing to move my college student home for the summer and Kelsey took a huge weight off of my shoulders by making this quick correction. Also, when reserving online, the system only allows a 2-week in advance reservation. Since mine is 1 month out, I was not allowed to reserve the space. Kelsey promptly took care of this as well. I selected this company and location due to the outstanding reviews that I read online. I'm taking care of all this from North Texas and Kelsey's help has been a lifesaver. Looking forward to renting through the summer until school is back in and looking forward to meeting the staff in person. Thank you!

The storage employees didn't even bother to look at the cameras (which didn't even face the right way) and just told us they aren't responsible for any damage or theft. Will definitely never recommend this place and I hope everyone that is storing items knows how vulnerable there security is. I rented a storage unit at Safe guard off of Corpus Christi NAS last year 2023. Like most things in…read moreCC it was nitty gritty blue collar run down used and abused facility. I lived just across the street in a RV community. So it was close to home and it was close to where I worked on NAS Corpus Christi. It was convenient. July 4 2023 my unit was broken into. over 2000 dollars of property was stolen. I received ONE phone call which I missed. The voice message informed me that they noticed the lock was missing. But it was clear that my unit was broken into. It was Four days later when I realized SAFE Guard had called and left a message. Four days days the rest of my property was left exposed to more theft because they put no priority on my property to call me again. Three other units at this foul business were also broken into that weekend. They didn't call the police or file a report with the local police. The lighting was severely inefficient. (IT WAS DARK AT NIGHT)Most of the bulbs were broken and not fixed. Minimal security cameras and the few that were there looked fifty years old. After walking the property it was clear the lock lasps on the units many have been broken into. They don't improve the integrity of their locks. They just have "patches" to fix the broken into locks. Or they just replace the broken into locks with the same type of failed locks. Do not use this facility. Many attempts made to speak to management thru email and phone calls. Crickets. Was told by a worker that she didn't have a supervisor. Sorry. SMH. Was going to sue them but with the luck of the gods I obtained employment which enabled me to move from that wretched city. I can't prove this at all. But I really believe that the theft of property was an inside job. Too much to write on this review to go into detail. Very important to note...The video surveillance showed the thief had the gate code and entered freely through the gate. THREE months after the theft of my property the gate code WAS NEVER CHANGED. NEVER. I kept an open account with them only to document in my law suit that they NEVER CHANGED the codes to the gate. Or made any other improvements to prevent theft at this storage facility.

We went to the office to inform them and they simply said, "This is Corpus Christi. There's mold"...so we decided to try to combat the mold. We put charcoal throughout the unit, and also set off mold bombs...came back after 2 weeks and checked and mold was still all over everything. We moved our stuff into a climate control storage facility instead. We wish we would have done that in the first place. When we were giving our key fob back, the woman in the office told us that mold grows in storage units (like it wasn't a big deal). Soooo again - I would steer away from AAA storage. We watched many folks driving their boats into the units and storing them and our guess is that the wet boats are causing mold in all of the units.
