They welcome you and pull the whole "we are family". Do NOT fall for it!!! I did and lost thousands of dollars to a couple that lacks any sliver of empathy. My husband was laid off and I met with Kaylee to cutback service, temporarily. She didn't even ask if we were ok. Instead, she proceeded to still try to upswell me-using scare tactics. "You may not be able to come back only twice a month, and will maybe need weekly. We will have to evaluate". Then I was going to get a final adjustment. Kaylee once again lacked empathy. "To get adjusted today, you will need to pay the remaining $6.92". While I do not expect a handout, really? I've paid literally thousands and you're now being petty. She even was like "how much do you pay for your gym membership?" None of their business! Every other person in my life was like "don't worry, we've got you until your husband finds a new role". Is getting $6.92 worth losing a lifetime patient? Apparently, yes. Insult to injury-I was sitting on a panel for THEM that following Saturday. Doing them a favor for free. I informed them that there was a person on the panel that had acted (knowingly) unethically in several ways and it was a conflict of interest for me to be on the panel. Kaylee informed me she would not be there, as they "respected" me. I wanted to cancel on them, due to how hurt and robbed I felt by them. But I did not. That's not who I am as a person. I arrived Saturday am, took hours out of my day off. Kaylee comes up to me 2 minutes before the start and goes "oh, heads up-we voted and she's coming". Heads up?! Ha. A heads up would have been a call the day before and allowing me to decide if I was still comfortable going. Bait and switch just seems to be their general MO. If I could go back and re do jointing their "family", I would not have. Hence why I should inform anyone reading this not to. Find a chiro that genuinely cares about you and your well-being...in and out of the office, and beyond how much money they can milk from you. I also asked them to remove my promo video and pictures, which they completely ignored. I no longer felt that way, hence my request. Because they didn't remove, I wanted to express my true feelings.

Pleasant lady (Karen?) asked me for the remainders of my medical history, etc. She made me feel quite at ease as we did all the preliminaries for a new patient. etc. So I was seated in exam room all ready to go by 0825; pretty quick for a specialist's office!!! Dr. Beljic entered the exam room very soon after that. He went over my family and personal medical history with me quite efficiently as he typed away. He seems to have a great "bedside manner," and was very thorough in explaining everything. Dr. Beljic is one of a few doctors at this practice, along with a couple of nurse practitioners. Soon after Dr. B finished with me, he sent me back to make sure I get scheduled for the procedure I need. That was quick since he downloaded all my info to the front desk at what seemed like lightning speed. I did this with Shannon, the scheduling coordinator. Yet another pleasant, efficient and caring soul! She was very good at explaining all of what I needed to do. She was very thorough in going over my particulars to ensure I was set up properly without any hiccups. Yet it was just a few short minutes and I was done! I walked out of the office and went on my way by 0855! Considering this was my first visit with an 0830 appointment time...holy cow! It helps that I downloaded all the forms I needed from their website and filled 'em out ahead of time. I'm also gonna guess that since I had an early appointment (they open at 0800) I was ahead of the curve too. Either way, I was very pleasantly surprised by how fantastic and efficiently this practice seems to run. Having GI issues can certainly be embarrassing (I know they ain't any fun), but these folks put me at ease in no time flat. If it's at all humanly possible to have a good doctor's office visit, then I surely had one. If you have a cranky colon, dismal duodenum, spasmodic small intestine or other such maladies, then I lucked out with the referral I received from my general practitioner (thanks Melissa)...BTW: make sure you have your referral squared away. Have your ID plus your insurance in order and with you too. They sent me a few emails and called me a couple days out with my reminders and so on. You're also encouraged to set yourself up electronically with "Healow," which is a medical app. I already have it through my general practitioner, but quite frankly it's one of the clunkiest sites I've ever had the occasion to encounter. They ignore phone calls, then they try and blame other practices for their inadequacies. Trying to just get an appointment should not be this difficult. If they are short staffed that is not my problem. When I first called about getting an appointment that was recommended by my specialist from my last procedure done in June, the person I was speaking with immediately chastised me for not calling in January. Apparently they had no record if my other two procedures in March and June (not my fault). Why do these practices insist on hiring rude individuals?
