The ladies that work over at this independent agency are rude, unprofessional and unhelpful. They…read morecomplicate the easiest of issue. I was insured through this agent for 4 years. I recently traded in my vehicle that was insured with them for a different vehicle. I insured the new vehicle directly with another insurance company. When I called to asked them about cancelling my policy, the lady that answered the phone, rudely cut me off and asked if I had returned the plates to the registry. I explained that I had a new vehicle which I insured with another company and still had the plates, to what she answered rudely we can't cancel it unless we have a 2A letter. My new insurance got me a letter where it request my policy with these people be cancelled as I now have insurance through someone else. The letter has my new car information which is all my new insurance can provide since I didn't have my old car insured through them, however they were able to customize the letter to include my policy number under these people and the plate number to show that my plates have been transferred over. Kokoras Agency is saying that it is not enough to have just the plate number but also have the old car information. Commerce, who is the insurance that these people represent has told me that all I need is the plate number proof, as the new insurance does not have my old car information, but these ladies at Kokoras have been giving me a hard time. I have faxed them the letter three times and I have the proof of fax with date and time and they keep saying that they haven't received it. I have been making calls since 8:30 am and it is now 12:40PM and this is still not resolved. These ladies have been so unhelpful, rude, uninformed, not properly trained for customer service. The customer service skills are foreign to them. They promised a call back once the manager got in to the office, this was at 10AM. What time does a manager get in the office? Sounds like lazy and bad business practices, oh and by the way no call back yet. You would think that after 4 years and I have been paying my bills on time for 4 years, no accidents, excellent driving record and they can't even do the simple thing to keep me happy. Just so you all know, this is not happening just cause I am trying to leave the insurance. When I bought a new car a couple of years ago, they couldn't even help me transfer my insurance information from one car to another over the phone. They made me go over there to sign paperwork. Meanwhile, I have a new car now and when I called my new insurance, they did everything over the phone. Goes to show you how bad this place really is. Never ever, will go through independent agencies, I will work directly with insurance companies.

Paul and D both went above and beyond to shop my policies around to guarantee me the best coverage for a cheaper price. They guided me through the process of switching insurance companies because it is stressful. After being with my previous insurance company for 10 years, I chose to switch because my home and auto policies increased over $400 annually for the past 3 years. I pleaded with them to lower my costs and they assured me I was getting the best rate. I knew that wasn't true. So I called Rizzo. My new policies combined are $1100 cheaper annually than the other company and I'm getting better coverage. I highly recommend everyone call them. I did everything over the phone and online. It's so convenient! All I can say is don't delay call Rizzo now. One bit of advice is ask your current insurance agent if there is an early cancellation fee.
