I was craving Jamaican food and heard nothing but great things about Cutlass Grille, so I couldn't…read morewait to try it out. Since it was a Wednesday evening, I figured it shouldn't be busy, but boy was I wrong lol. When we arrived, the wait was almost an hour and we contemplated leaving but thankfully, there were two, open seats at the bar, so my daughter and I decided to grab those seats and dine in. The bar was just as packed and it took a while for someone to get us menus but after looking over the menu, we decided on the Brown Stew Chicken and the Curry Chicken. It took an hour for us to get our food but our server/bartender, Meka, was very sweet and apologetic. The Brown Stew Chicken was amazing! It was seasoned wonderfully and extremely flavorful. The Rice & Peas and Plantains were just as good. My daughter enjoyed her Curry Chicken as well. Neither one of us cared for the Mac & Cheese. Wednesdays are Groove on the Green, which is a free, Music Concert Series that Cutlass Grille hosts so I believe that's what caused it to be busy.
