I had to pay $5,000 to get a steel reinforced new gate installed. Nobody seemed to care if my property was secure or not! I have a pool and worried about the gate being left open!! After completion, my nephew, who is working for his Eagle Scout asked if they could donate lumber for a small fence in Mission Trails. Tommy had another guy return his call, but didn't bother to inform him what the call was about. My nephew was summarily dismissed with a "we don't do that." Cano Ironworks was subcontracted on a concrete and masonry job, but they deserve their own review…read more The project was the installation of a 3.5 foot iron gate. It was not an easy installation, since the masonry wall surface it would attach to was not quite vertical. The supporting iron had to be channeled into the masonry to provide a proper vertical installation. Cano was up to this task, and the installed gate is vertical, swings freely, and latches securely. The amount of care taken for this installation is very .appreciated. The final product is beautiful and functional. As a side note, Oscar fixed a malfunctioning gate on the other side of my house without being asked. You need a gate? Metalwork of any kind? I recommend Cano.
