Been trying to get a house ready for the market. I've been abandoned by a builder taking my money and had numerous service guys waste my time by pretending to be interested, promising to look at the house or do an estimate, continually make excuses before finally ignoring me altogether. I wish I could say the experience was different with Jason but it wasn't. He said he had availability and would bid for the job. That was October 31. The entire week he said he would get out there, then apologized said he would the next day. Then he said he would get out there this weekend and then finally, no more communication from Jason. Thanks for wasting a full week of my time when I'm desperately trying to get this thing finished ASAP. I could have been trying to find handyman who wouldn't waste my time instead of not knowing how to say they were too busy for the job. I am blown away by the service Jason and his guys provided at my home. I have tried to work with many handymen in the past - and I was met with unreliability and incompetence each and every time. Let me tell you - Mr. 512 Handyman is so very reliable and very competent. When I initially contacted Jason, he responded to my email within 30 min. We set the appt and he was early when he showed up for our meeting! His guys began work in my home and the install of the can lighting was very messy and dusty due to insulation falling from the attic. They draped all my furniture, put down mats, and even sealed off rooms with plastic to prevent further dust travel. Mid process was very messy in my home BUT they cleaned it all up!!! I could not tell they had even been in my home (except I had beautiful new can lights in the ceiling!). Jason is extremely helpful, polite, a family man and knows his stuff!! When power washing my fence in preparation for my new stain, my neighbor was concerned that her plants would get sprayed with stain. I told Jason I would go talk with her and he insisted that he come with me so he could explain what his guys would do to ensure her plants were not harmed. He was so respectful and nice - and of course my fence turned out great and my neighbors plants were not harmed. I could go on and on! Just cant say enough good things about Jason. I really wanted to give this company more stars, but never got the chance..?! Jason came out in March of 2018 to one of our rental properties and gave me a quote for siding repairs. I reached out to him a few months later letting him know we were ready to move forward and didn't hear back from him. Well, life happened, we had some grave personal issues arise, hurricane Harvey came through, so I tried reaching out to him again...a week went by, but then alas! I finally got a reply! He resent basically the original quote to me without going out to re-inspect the property even though he knew now a year and 1/2 had passed by..so I suggested that he do so?! Well just yesterday I finally got him to to re-inspect the property and he emailed me a new quote! I was pleased and again ready to move forward....naturally, we've been shopping around with other contractors in the meantime so I presented this quote to another contractor who had questions about his line items so I asked Jason about these things and he abruptly told me he did not want me to use his quote for price negotiations and that he would not perform the work. Needless to say I was pretty shocked and dismayed he claimed that they had already invested way too much time and that our job was too small for them.. that their quality work and customer comments would speak for them...what's sad is I never got to experience such, but one thing I can attest to is his HUGE lack of promptness(SEE OTHER ONE STAR REVIEW) and sub par "potential "customer service/satisfaction skills. :( read more
