Spoke to Everend in May and after some time was told in July we'd have a quote shortly. Near the middle of August I followed up, no response. Now close to end of August and still crickets. Everend was kind enough to come over one Saturday morning to help with an under the kitchen sink water filter system. Everend has a friendly, straightforward manner and gives an honest opinion. While here, he discovered that I needed to replace the shutoff valves under kitchen sink w/ quarter turn valves; remove the bottom of the sink base cabinet. Fabricate & install new plywood bottom; and to replace damaged silicone caulk between backsplash and countertop. John E. showed up on time, was very professional and the job turned out excellent. In 2018 ET's Home Repair installed new countertops and backsplash in my kitchen and in 2020 (I think) they remodeled my primary bath by removing the tiny bathtub and installing a shower, replaced the floor tile, installed a new double sink and painted the bathroom - they do excellent work and when they leave you would never know they were there, everything is left clean. I was surprised by how wonderful my experience with tthis company was. The owner, Everend, is honest, ethical, does fantastic work, and I completely trust him. He knows customer service well and runs his business in a model fashion. Everend recently did some work for me and I was extremely pleased with the very professional results. I've already called him again to discuss replacing a dishwasher for me, doing some work on my sink and a bit of work on where my A/C connects to my attic. If you need a Jack of all trades, Everend is a completely legit guy and I will recommend him to anyone I know who needs work done around their house. What a disappointment. I had high hopes because of the other reviews, but our experience was terrible. The work was sub par, to say the least. Paint smudges were left throughout the house, on both wood floors and carpet. Paint was also smeared on the light switches and electrical outlets. Additionally, the job was completed two weeks behind schedule, and it was like pulling teeth to get him to come in and finish it. We had other work we planned to do, but ended up using another contractor. I would never use or recommend ET Home Repair. read more

I have nothing but positive comments about Everend and ET's Home Repair. Everend has that long-lost quality that is so rare: he cuts no corners and insists on doing the best job that he possibly can. I would recommend calling him for any home repair issues you may have. He is a good communicator, and he lives up to (and exceeds) what he promises for the exact bid that he gives you. Everend recently fixed a number of holes in our dry-wall ranging from door handle sized punch-outs to larger problems, and I can't say enough good things about his work. There are so many wonderful things we could write about our recent kitchen remodel with ET's that it could sound like gushing but it is truly for a job well done. Everend is one of the friendliest and most knowledgeble men in his field. Every bump in the road or last minute change was greeted with multiple solutions and an ear for listening. The start date for our job was still two months away and not only did he start the exact day promised but walked us through weeks in advance the different aspects of what to expect once he started. He recommended a wonderful custom cabinet maker, supplied the plumber and electrician and then did the entire kitchen remodel by himself. By the time he started the job we had the cabinets finished, the appliances purchased, the counter tops ordered, and all of the tile waiting for his arrival. For the month that Everend would be working with us, we were prepared - planning for a serious lifestyle change that involved corralling four cats into a sunroom or porch during his working hours and patronizing some of our favorite restaurants. Really, that was the extent of our hardship. Does it get any better than that? On days when we weren't around, Everend had his own key (and our trust and confidence). A few of the tasks involved in our remodel included tiling, cabinetry, painting, wallpapering, and demolition. Speaking of demolition...forget what you've seen on HGTV and the total destruction of your living space 'cause it doesn't happen with Everend. He hung up plastic sheeting on every opening and doorway to assure nothing was ruined with dust and debris. Every night we we're amazed at how spotless the work area was after he left.
