I hosted an event here with my alumni group and it was excellent. The food is SO good. The sticky buns from Knaus Berry were as good as if they came from Honestead! The staff is excellent and so accommodating. I'm already making plans to come back - it's perfectly cozy to work or read a book. 10/10!
In every city I have lived in. I have looked for the perfect coffee shop. There are really three requirements to achieve perfection. The first and perhaps most important is having excellent coffee. The second is having an exciting vibe where is obvious people are enjoying congregating there and yet there is great Wi-Fi to be able to work. And the last service. If I am going to be a regular and a coffee shop, I want to be recognized and greeted with a smile every time. This particular place checked off every box. First of all, it's absolutely delightful to be treated as if you were a regular even the first time you walk in. The immediate attention and the attitude of the servers really creates a wonderful atmosphere right from the start. Secondly, the menu is easy to understand and presented well visually. And then there's the coffee. They're standard coffee rivals any I've had before. I also have tried the macchiato, the Matcha latte, and the cold brew. I have to admit that I have avoided the wonderful looking pastries and sandwiches as I am trying to watch my weight, but I am tempted and will soon be sampling them as well. But the coffee is just so exceptional and everything about this place is so warm and welcoming that I look forward to every visit. And they will be many.
I really wanted to like this cute coffee shop in the Falls mall. I was killing some time while my dog was getting groomed and took a seat at the little nook with books. I ordered the cold brew on tap with half & half and it was terrible. The barista was sooo sweet and told me that he could make me something else. I opted for an ice latte and again the espresso quality just wasn't good. They use a Nespresso machine so you're not getting fresh beans. I would return for the cozy ambiance and good service but not for the coffee.
I love to support independent coffee shops and I found Mr. Bean Coffee Shop in the Falls near Macy's when I was in need of an afternoon pick me up. They want to be known as your "friendly neighborhood coffee shop." The inside is adorably decorated with faux flowers and greenery and knickknacks. There are tables where you can eat and work and a lounge area with a couch and cozy chairs. There is also a spacious outdoor patio area. Around the shop are little areas with artisan crafts like jewelry, clothes, note cards, bath products, candles, and art for sale. This is the perfect place to get some quick refreshment and take a shopping break from the mall. You order at the counter and they call your name when it is ready. I decided on an iced butterscotch latte and a Turkey BLT. The coffee was nice and mellow but the sandwich was just ok. I could have made better sandwich at home. I was really let down that the bread wasn't even toasted and the turkey was school cafeteria quality. This place is so cute, I was expecting a higher quality of food. I would stop in again but maybe just for coffee and one of the pastries.
Cute coffee shop to chill and study at. Cozy inside and seating available indoors and outdoors. They have lots of variety when it comes to their coffees, teas, and pastries. Service is alright. I recommend trying the Iced Coconut Samoa Latte, it's very tasty. Their pistachio croissant is delicious as well! I did NOT like their iced matcha. They make it hot then put it on ice; so it's a mix of hot and cold matcha, it was really bad. Luckily, they were able to give me something else.
This coffee shop is so cute! Located conveniently in the falls. I love how they have reruns of Mr Bean playing on the tv. I also fell victim to the cute jewelry pieces at the front of the store, and i ended up buying one. The barista was very nice and helpful. I ordered the coconut samoa iced latte. It was covered in coconut pieces. It wasn't for me. The coffee tasted watered down and i didn't like the large chunks of coconut. The flavor of the syrups were good though.
Place is located inside The Falls mall, right in front of the Macy's entrance - this may not be readily apparent if you are using a GPS like google maps, which wanted to route me through the back of the mall as I used it for 'walking' directions once inside the mall - so, ignore google and just head to the Macy's entrance from the inside of the mall. Facade matches the mall's aesthetic - quaint and charming. Inside however, is just OK, neither here neither there - outside alludes to a similarly quaint inside than it actually is, but there's nothing wrong with the inside. Inside sitting is limited - keep that in mind for hot days; outside sitting is more bountiful, but again, we live in hot and rainy Miami, soooooo... maybe not the best option 75% of the time. Patron crowd is an atypical mix - during my visit on a Saturday night, 50% were high-school/college kids and the other 50% was made up by the average population. Felt like I was at the FIU student cafeteria, which is ironic for an establishment at The Falls. The staff was made up by the same high-school/college age bracket, and they acted the part with awkward interactions and not fully understanding the basics of customer service - I should clarify that they weren't rude, just didn't seem to know how to comport themselves in their service roles. The FOOD is GOOD - I ordered a breakfast sandwich (eggs, sausage and cheese) on a toasty brioche-like bun, which was yum. It is VERY SMALL (akin a Mickey D's breakfast sandwich), so it left me longing for more, so upon approaching the ordering area I noticed they had pictures of their sandwiches, which had a peanut butter jelly one that really bought my eye - I felt like dessert, so I went for it. Mind you, I don't think I've ever had a professionally-made PB&J sandwich (I'm an adult LOL), and this one DIDN'T disappoint - it was DELICIOUS - very sweet, tasty and on a toasty thick white bread - they actually BURNED the crap of one side of it (see pics - and hid it by placing it face down), but I didn't mind the burnt flavor because the rest tasted so great harmoniously working with the crunchy toasty bread. Finally, the COFFEE in the coffee house: I ordered a cappuccino - whatever greatness was in the PB&J must have been had at the expense of the coffee - coffee flavor was underwhelming, with a mild burnt undertone - for most people, it will be 'fine' - it's just coffee - but for an aficionado, it will DISAPPOINT - so I'd give the COFFEE a 3 out of 5 (a solid average, nothing special). All and all, the sandwiches (4 out of 5 for breakfast sandwich and 6 out of 5 for PB&J) are what saved the place for me and only way to justify a 4 stars as the overall score. As a coffee house, I can't give it any more than a 3. NOTE: There was no pasta on the menu as shown in some of the menu pictures here. Just sandwiches and wraps. They did have a 'limited' selection of miscellaneous baked 'goods' (cookies, pound cakes, pastries) that while I didn't try them to judge them, they ALL looked stale and unappetizing - like they had been there most of the week and had been brought from Costco. I'd come back only for the sandwiches, and drive out of my way for the PB&J. The coffee I'd buy from the nearest coffee shop.
My best friend brought me here for my bday and it was awesome! I really enjoyed their Caesar wrap (not pictured!) it was delicious and warm. The coconut Samoa latte was sooo delicious I'm still thinking about it 10/10 I like that they have different jewelry stands and you can shop around in the coffee shop. The staff is very friendly and patient. This is a great spot for a friend date, to read a book or to enjoy a nice coffee before strolling through the mall
Even though we've been here a few times, I still feel it's a "hidden gem" for coffee and breakfast lovers out there. Inside is nicely lit with dimmed lighting and comfy couches along with the music makes it feels like home. We had the breakfast and capresse sandwiches, very homemade, probably already prepared and heated up but honestly both tasted pretty good. The oat milk lattes have a very good taste just too hot in my opinion. Staff is very welcoming, very cool decor and table games to play while you eat and drink
Cute, cozy coffee shop located in the falls. Love the decor. They have these cute small vinyls as cup coasters which I loved. I was greeted as soon as I walked in and the workers were very nice and helpful as it was my first time here and I wasn't sure what to order. The gentleman that took my order explained how the drink I ordered is made - I appreciated that. I ended up ordering a turkey BLT- I did not want turkey so I asked if it was possible to remove the turkey and add extra bacon but he explained that their sandwiches are premade and he couldn't add extra bacon, could only remove the turkey. The sandwich was OK. Had maybe 2 slices of bacon, 2 pieces of tomatoes and 2 lettuce pieces which were black and old looking. I definitely wouldn't recommend ordering the BLT. Maybe if I would've kept the turkey it would've been better. For coffee, I had their Coconut Samoa iced latte. They didn't have coconut milk so I got oat instead. 10/10. So refreshing, sweet coconutty yet you can taste the espresso. Had coconut flakes on top. Delicious! I'm definitely coming back for another one.
The food and the coffee were on. A lot better than Starbucks and other 'mainstream' cafe's in and out of the general area. I definitely loved watching how the owners were assisting their employees and made sure all the customers were happy. A wonderful place with a wonderful vibe! 10/10 would recommend to anybody that's in the area or just wants to find a cafe with good food, drinks, and vibes! They also sell other assortments like crystals and jewelry. The employees and owners are wonderful at what they do. Would come again.
Each order is served with a Hershey's kiss and the servers are always so lovely and kind. They are very attentive with their service. This place has incredible ambiance it is an excellent place to hang out with friends. It is cozy and inviting and has great intimate seating areas. The food is delicious! We had the Korean BBQ lamb and spicy tuna osmosubi and we were both very pleasantly surprised! Their tea is very pleasant and they have a nice herbal selection. read more

Aaahhh #Miamilife! It's Black Friday, and STILL the same great service, same fun buzzy atmosphere, great service, good WiFI and comfy indoor outdoor seating! I love the cool merch, mr bean on tv & relaxing interesting vibe. Great café music playing and the sounds of happy folks taking a shopping respite. It even has fun table games like chess and checkers. Mr Bean is an enjoyable local establishment carrying all you could want in a coffee shop and unique fun local artisan products. Check it out when at the gorgeous newly refurbished Falls Shopping Mall. It's a lovely way to spend solo self care time or meetup with friends. Thanks for following me--happy holidays! read more

The coffee shop is very cute and the workers are nice however I do find that it is a bit slow I waited around 20 min for a spinach empanada. The empanada was good and the drink was very refreshing as well. I've tried the coffee here and it wasn't my favorite I do prefer the refreshments. read more

Everything is fresh and ready to eat, the croissants look very crunchy, the empanadas, and the sandwiches accompanied by a creamy and delicious coffee are the perfect combination and reason to visit Mr. Bean coffee shop again. read more
Mr. Bean Coffee Shop has a very cozy and welcoming atmosphere perfect for coffee lovers who just want to be able to sit and relax or even work/study. The staff is always very friendly and helpful. The offer a menu with unique drinks and yummy quick bites. It is an ideal place for relaxing with a yummy coffee or catching up with friends, with outdoor seating and a nice warm vibe enhanced by classic "Mr. Bean" episodes playing in the background! They also have super cute jewelry for sale which I love! Highly recommend coming here and staying a while. I recommend the shakerato delight and the Caesar wrap! read more

I absolutely love this coffee shop. It's the perfect place to unwind, work, or meet with friends. There's music but not deafening, the prices are competitive, and the seating is perfect. They have a work bench for people and their laptops, a cozy couch/living room where you can read ornplqy board games with friends, comfy chairs in nooks, and a sizeable outside patio on the plaza with tables and chairs. The coffee is good, and their prosciutto sandwich is delicious. read more

This is hands-down the best coffee shop in Miami. The only thing I don't like about it is that it isn't closer to my house. Maybe it's just as well, because I'd probably be here every day. Whenever I'm in the area, I stop by for a drink and a bite. During this past visit, I tried the chagaccino. It has a very subtle, earthy flavor that paired well with the spinach and mushroom empanadas I consumed. The empanadas had a perfect filling to pastry ratio, which made each bite a delight. The place has a very comforting vibe with exposed brick, hanging flowers, and modern soft rock playing in the background. The people who work here are sweet and patient, not minding if you hang out for hours (which I'm always tempted to do). read more

This is my favorite coffee shop in the area. I always stop here when I'm in the falls. I have an electric car so while it's charging I usually come here and enjoy a coffee. The coffee is delicious and they have a variety of pastries and snacks. The staff is always very nice and the place is real vibey inside. read more

We stopped to take a breather from the mall and loved this space! They have a great drink and food selection, table games, and a back area where they have jewelry, clothing, and crocheted items. List of great seating options, WiFi, and a really fun and relaxed vibe. You can sit outside or inside and enjoy your cold or warm beverage. The service was great and they threw in a dark chocolate kiss with the drink. So fun, so sweet, very worth it stop! read more

Mr. Bean coffee shop is my definition of mixed feelings when it comes to this type of businesses. They have THE BEST pistachio croissant I have had in Florida. I am obsessed with pistachio and never miss a chance to try a pistachio bakery item when I see one. I can say, with confidence, this is in my top 10 list. However, they have not had it for a few weeks now. They also have a delectable guava croissant. I believe they go for $6-$7. On to their coffee. This is a different story. I have had about three different drinks here. The matcha latte has been the best and I am not a fan of matcha. However, I have been out of luck with their latte and cappuccino. They have been 'thin'. I forgot what milk they use, maybe that's why. The strong coffee flavor has been there but that creamy and rich mouthfeel not so much. Their staff is friendly and helpful. They play Mr Bean clips and that's fun to watch. I would suggest you take someone with you, not go in a rush, make time to seat and grab a board game. Allow yourself to get away from your phone and fully enjoy the company. One thing I could do without is that incense like smell. Sort of flowery and sweetish. Some people might love it. Yet, at a place like this, I would prefer the scent of freshly grounded beans and warm pastries. Still a place in my radar. From now on I'll be calling beforehand to ensure they have the pistachio croissant. That is what really keeps me coming back. read more

The food is great! I usually get the sweet treats that they sell and they warm it up and bring it to your table. The service has been good as well. There's always music playing and the tv is on, but it is very relaxing and a cute place to grab a bite. read more

A gem of a coffee shop. Cozy interior, super friendly staff, & great coffee & bites. I've had it bookmarked for a while and finally got to try them. Great place to stop for some coffee while doing some shopping at the mall. read more
Adorable coffee shop. The ambience is amazing. Definitely solid choice for a casual date or end-of-date coffee time. The inside sitting is very cozy. They have a very pleasant, soothing, incense burning, but if that is not your thing, the outside sitting area is just as inviting with its fountain. If you go at night time, the fairy lights outside give it an even more romantic atmosphere. They also have a table setting for people that want to come in and do work (see pic). The staff was friendly and the service was quick. Even though you order at the counter, they bring the drinks to the table. I also like that they have a sort of pop-up shop area where they sell some very nice jewelry and soap. I ordered a chai tea latte with oat milk. It was ok, but not great. It was more like a steamed milk drink with an after-taste of chai, which is why I gave it three stars. It is worth mentioning that I was in a bit of a hurry, so I just took the drink and left, but I wonder if I had said something, they might have fixed the drink. All-in-all I would go again, with more time, so I can really enjoy the beautiful atmosphere they have created. read more

I really love this place. The vibe is wonderful. Calm, nice seating. Lots of outdoor seating, games like scrabble, connect 4, monopoly to while away the time together. And they serve a pretty good cup of coffee. They have flaky croissants in multiple flavors like guava and cheese. The service is fantastic. They're always friendly and professional. If you don't like your croissants or other pastries toasted make sure you tell them when you order. It's located right next to Macys so after you've fortified yourself with some coffee and croissants you're ready to shop till you drop. They have sandwiches, wine and beer so it's a good place to stop for lunch on a busy shopping day. read more

I was in the area and needed to pickup something at the Apple store, but coffee was a must 1st. I wasn't aware that Starbucks was closed at The Falls and was a little disappointed since I wanted their Nitro Cold Brew. Luckily there was a Mr. Bean sign, so I decided to walk and check it out. It's located next to Macys, next to the AT&T store. The location is very cozy and friendly. Immediately I was greeted and welcomed and when I shared it was my 1st experience they were thankful for the visit. The young lady at the register was great, shared what was available and made sure to ask if I was looking for something specific. I shared with her what I usually would have at Starbucks and she recommended their Nitro Brew and I asked if they had a pumpkin foam to add. Although not on the menu, she just asked some questions on what I wanted in it and I was up for any of her suggestions to make. Her barista skills were magical !! Once I received my drink, I was fighting myself to either gulp it or take it slow and savor it from how delicious it was. I believe her name was Katy because a gentleman asked how it was and that he's never seen her make that, and I said it was beyond good... if I knew it was that good I would have ordered a bigger size. I've had meals that I can say O-M-G this is good.. and by far this is the BEST NITRO COLD BREW with PUMPKIN FOAM that I've had. Disney may make adults and kids dreams come true, but Mr. Bean makes your coffee dreams come true !! Usually you wonder why it's a a $6 cup of coffee and are hesitant, but it's the Falls Mall and it's definitely worth the price of admission for your taste buds. We need more of these in Miami! bravo to the owners on creating a place with calm vibes, good coffee and friendly service. I wanted a coffee shop with a cozy couch and relaxing environment to kill some time and I found it here. They even have gluten free treats which is always a winner in my book. The games and book corner added some great character and fun activities as well! read more
